From my experience there's a huge difference between the mat/range and the real course. You almost never get a perfect lie on the course and any slight bump will catch you out. For me, I had to get more used to leaning the shaft forward at address and hitting the ball with that position, to ensure it's generally ball then turf contact. Anything else for me would catch the ball behind on the ground, which means you're going to go into the mud or catch a bump. Good luck!

Morning Finbar, thanks for the comment buddy really appreciate it👍 I was practising putting on Monday, and I found anything within 4/5 Foot was brilliant, and anything beyond that I found really Difficult But practice makes perfect 😎👍🏌‍♂️

@@itsjustgolf That's brilliant! I'm looking forward to your next full round I think you'll break 100 no sweat! You were losing so many shots on the short putts. On the card they count the same as a 280yd yard drive 🏌‍♂️

@@itsjustgolf Of course I don't mind buddy. We are all learning golf any tips help. I can see you've got a good game in you and you're putting the work in so I reckon you'll be averaging low 90's by the end of the summer 👍

Such a frustrating game ! Your game is coming on leaps and bounds if you are able to identify what you are doing wrong yourself though. Like everyone else, it's the bad shot/anger reset switch to work on next

Hi Chris thanks for the comment buddy really appreciate it👍 you're 100% correct golf is such a mental Game without the right mindset or tools to be able to reset It can be such a Soul destroying game. But every once in a while we pull off those Miracle shot that that keeps us addicted😎👍🏌‍♂️
