Man this video is a life saver, I’ve changed both wheel hubs, both cv axles, both struts, all bearings , pretty much the whole front suspension and it still did it, watched this video, jacked the car up once again and low and behold, a broken wire. Well, at least I have all new parts on my front suspension. Thanks for the video, really helped a lot.
I think my issue is suspension related. I've done the front struts. Still need the rear. But it's making a knock noise sometimes when I turn and hit a bump. I'm thinking it's maybe a balljoiint on control arm maybe?
@@benput91094 mine did the same but when I changed the sway bar bushings that stopped but I still had the lights come on when I was turning, if the bushings are bad and you’ve changed everything else try the bushings on ur sway bar
is there a way to flop a volt or ohm meter on each wire(guesscing hot side would be from that abs center towards eng. area) & see if wire(or which wire does or doesn’t work?)🤔
With my 2012 they need to wrap that wire and the main wiring by the tranny cap ended up melting those two wires together and a few from the tcm plug 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
Does this symptom also trigger the check engine light? That’s what happens to my car when that sensor comes on. I have new harnesses but I just have to put them on
@@heath7893 yes I did about 1 month ago. When the check engine light is on due to a misfiring cylinder it will trigger the traction control light to come on along with poor drivability.
btw., after unplugging, ohm meter to & from abs censor something like 10-15ohms, wiggle wire to see if it changes & other side of switch, volt meter(NOT OHM METER WITH BATTERY CONNECTED) volts(should be watever battery state is, probley 12ish), wiggle that wire if need be, etc. then if it IS that wire, & need B, disconnect neg. battery terminal, then EBCM box, pin# locations are tough to find, buuuuudt here they are for years 12 & 13 least(27-28 f/l, 17-30 f/r, 16-4 rear l, 3-15 rear r), port # locations are very tricky to trace, they are often the tiny holes on black rectangle that don’t look like holes, etc., get diagram - even with that, VERY deceiving. AAAANYWAY, now for my comment!, I just wanna say, EXCELLANT JOB HIDING mounting clips.. I watched whole video & you covered(them) perfectly, showed part of 1 for sec. thanx for that. I fixed this like a month ago, just getting around to redoing clips - how’s a well kept secret. on to next video now to see what’s seeable👋😒
I can't find my scanner is there a way to tell if it's a wire or the sensor itself. N can I jus replace the wire w speaker wire I got tons n it ain't. cheap shit
Yes, this will be my second abs wire harness (left front) usually the left front and all three of those damn vent blower actuators! All three of them. Cheap plastic gears inside.

Changed them both lights came back on shortly after a while . Could tire pressure sensors cause that?

Put a meter on the wire before opening up all the wire. Could save you some headache. ;)

Can you still drive the car like that. It won't stop while you driving it?
it won't cause any issues. It'll just DING a lot, and you won't have ABS on that front wheel.

Visually inspect the wires first. And yes you can reconnect any broken wires with speaker wires.
