    Just picked up a facelift '21 petrol four pot, having previously owned a 2018 diesel a few years ago, and the step up in quality is night and day. Everything about it is levels above the old model, the materials, the tech, the ride. It feels much better put together than the old one. Like most modern Jags, criminally underrated. It's a beautiful car.

    The chap from the dealership was telling me 2025 does not necessarily mean no ICE. He suggested that all Jags would have electric motor assistance.
    If we want pure ICE performance, the current SVRs are the last.

      That's an interesting bit of info. Let's hope so! Although I could swear it was 'fully electric' from the representative I spoke to. I guess only time will tell
      Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! Happy driving

    That car looks the same spec as mine which is a 22 plate R-Dynamic Black D200 MHEV which I love and have absolutely no issues with what so ever!!!!!

      Ditto with my wife's 71 plate F-Pace 3.0 D300 R-Dynamic SE Black. She upgraded from F-Pace R-SPORT 25D in Nov 21

    Great Video, I had a 2017 Fpace portfolio and upgraded it to a 2021 P400E, what a great car, fantastic interior and 400+HP., as you say it is a completely different driving experience.

    R-dynamic trim now not R-sport and no mention of the new Jan headlights and rear lights.
    Should be collecting a RDyanmic SE black in October and cannot wait. Shame the F-pace and all the range will be discontinued.

    As for Fuel economy, my D 200 (204 HP ) consistently sees 46 -48 MPG highway, and have seen 50 mpg a few times.

    I am considering this SUV for next year. I’ll see if they announce the EV version before pulling the trigger.

    Very nice Video compairing the new and old.
    To me the screen in the new F pace looks like an I pad stuck on the dash. Not a fan of these I pad in cars.
    It will Be intresting to see if Jaguar can make that 2025 for eletric

    Still prefer the older one with the heavier seats

    The facelift is an R-Dynamic rather than R-Sport (effectively the same thing under a different name) and the new 2.0 diesel MHEV has 200PS and does 0-60 in 8 seconds, the 3.0 diesel MHEV does it in 6.4 seconds.

    My current 2017 f pace 35t has been more reliable than my former 2019 s90 t5 eith enless problems like a/c not cold and sagging door trim Reason for the so called unreliability is due to the expensive parts making owners not wanting to maintain them properly. With proper maintenance, it will run forever.

    It’s just a facelift, however I still fill the old f pace looks more badass than the new one. 😊

    How come no mention of the fantastic infotainment system which is head and shoulders better than the old F Pace (which was also good)?

    Good video. But it still amuses me how car reviewers still persist on tapping or scratching surfaces that no one driving, or sitting in any of the passenger seats, ever normally touches.
    It's like going on a date with a lady and checking out her front door keys.
    i.e. Bloody pointless.

      @MrGB_UK  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      🤣 What a fantastic analogy! I guess it’s just the overall feel of the cabin and it’s a good tell of the quality of materials used/attention to detail. But I agree, I seldom drive around scratching the side of the footwell haha!
      Thanks for watching and commenting

    You made an error. The 163HP model takes 9.9 seconds to reach 0-60mph.

  • @ChrisIsMeinName
    @ChrisIsMeinName ปีที่แล้ว +1

    6.9 sec from 0-60 in the D200? I doubt it :) Maybe for the D300.

  • @lesliesmith4846
    @lesliesmith4846 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    There must be more than 160hp from that engine. My 10 y/o Evoque knocked out 190hp from its 2.2 diesel.

    • @ChrisIsMeinName
      @ChrisIsMeinName ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, he got all the Specs wrong. The D200 got 204hp and does 0-60 in about 8 sec.

    Very nice car from jaguar! What about the diesel engines in 2025 onwards? Will they stop production? Will it be difficult to find spare parts ?

    Sunglasses holder you don't have because you've got the pan roof. That gloss black compartment is where it would otherwise be. Suede cloth headlining is an option still.... that manual cockpit is horrific though. I managed to get the digital display before they pulled it and it is miles better - more fitting of the car price and ambition to complete with BMW and Merc etc.

    • @MrGB_UK
      @MrGB_UK  ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting. My pre-face has the pano roof, yet has the sunglasses holder also. Glad you managed to get the didital cockpit before they removed the option. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    Nice car - but the iPad stuck on the dash annoys me - believe it or not I walk past all new cars with an iPad stuck on the dash when buying. I notice that the centre of the steering wheel is smaller .. compared to my XE - That’s looks much better :-)

    Interestingly I have a 21 face lift model and I do have the sun glasses holder and the suede interior. I'm guessing they changed things over after the 21 model?

      Your statement makes me believe you never owned any modern Jags from new. If the last 3 years has taught us anything, it is not to be a parrot and repeat what are clueless idiots are saying.

      Maybe they have been paying more attention to their QC.

      All cars have there problems, widely known that jaguars have a stigma that really isn’t that bad compared to others. I’ve had a new bmw that has spent 2 of the last 5 months in the dealers for issues such as water ingress into the cab.

      LandRover free bag of spanner's, a jaaaagg gets the neighbours silver...lol, had one for 4 years, no issues follow maintenance to the letter all dealership, a little pricy but keeps up the warranty, looking at getting the new version..enjoy

    I have a 21 plate and it’s been an absolute nightmare from new with so many problems and it’s been in the garage for 9 months on and off and that’s where it is at present D200 R Dynamic SE 204ps and my transit drives better.

      Very unlucky. My wife has a 71 plate D300 SE Black that's done 17,000 miles. In that time, the only issue was a broken sunglasses holder that JLR replaced.

    I don’t get the whole exterior blackout look. Blacked out grill, trim, wheel. Makes vehicles look cheap in my opinion. It can look ok on white vehicles, but that’s about it, this jag looks best without the blackout BS

      To each their own, but yeah love the bling, blackout look not for me, it more of a drug dealer look in my part of the world.
