@MadManUSMC cop was right. Tensions run high in situations like that. He did exactly what he was supposed to do which is maintain control, deescalate, and stop anything from getting out of hand. Crowd control is challenging, you of all people should get that since I have to assume you serve or served with the USMC stuff all over your profile. He cleared up the issue in less than 60 seconds and all he had to do is tell one guy to knock it off and the other guy to get the f out of the way.
@@MadManUSMC you are missing the part that the cop said the two parts to stop doing something. And it was completely CORRECT to tell the rider to not rev. Conflict resolutions starts with calming down the involved parts. You may not like this kind of manifestation but they are common and legal (at least in my country) so every rider or driver should be aware of them and not act defensively because acting like that is how tragedies starts. Btw I still think the officer was right because in the video the prosteter just blocked the riders way and was not actually violent so there was no need to rev as a "defend" like a lot of comments are saying
That was the best display of law enforcement doing their job, deescalating a situation, and keeping the peace amongst citizens. Everyone was corrected accordingly.
I disagree, also, the best display of law enforcement is to clear the streets, so people don't have to be annoyed by them. It's illegal to block the street.
That officer was wrong. Holding up traffic for an illegal demonstration is against the law. The officer did that as well as the protesters if even for a second. Then yelling at the biker just encourages the protesters. Therefore the officer only made the situation worse. The biker may not have seen the officer but I bet he saw a number of people that could overwhelm him and had no business being there. The officer should have had them disburse. The rider on the other hand had every right to make a path through in any manner that he thought was correct in order to protect himself. Yes the officer needs to be mentally tough to do the job. So if he is doing it incorrectly he must not be in the right job. And I do not support people being in a job with a gun and badge who should not have either but have both.
@@WilliamWorley-fi1fcunfortunately what those mentally not so good people were doing is called a peaceful protest and they unfortunately can stay on the road And that officer actually gives a crap about his job and is doing so well than most cops
@ravishankerupadhyay5691 Peaceful protests do not violate peace and order. Allowing for a proper flow of traffic is part of peace and order. Having an overwhelming amount of people stop an individual is bullying and in this situation stopped the rider's ability to transit safely. As soon as the protester touched the motorcycle he was threatening the rider with violence and the officer both encouraged it and added to it. It is obvious your argument is lacking. You do not get to just make it what you want it to be.

A cop that implemented balance between 2 sides that had 0. That’s a real cop and a great person.
The payment victim approached the rider as they came up. That was incredibly dangerous. The cop saying the rider did NOT need to rev up was completely in the wrong. Those tards are going to approach too aggressively to the wrong person and end up unbreathing quick.

How mentally and emotionally strong you gotta be to work among those people, respect to the cop 🫡
He should force them to go to the sidewalk .
@3-6-9-6-3 Yeah him alone force them all to go to the sidewalk...
@@WilliamWorley-fi1fcunfortunately what those mentally not so good people were doing is called a peaceful protest and they unfortunately can stay on the road
And that officer actually gives a crap about his job and is doing so well than most cops
@ravishankerupadhyay5691
Peaceful protests do not violate peace and order. You do not get to just make it what you want it to be.
blocking “an exceptionally busy public right-of-way” for more than five minutes in a way that prevents “or would prevent” passage of a vehicle, is a Class 4 felony.
