It would be better to compare real screen sizes as all of these devices have no-screen frames.

I may be able to do a video comparing sizes including the screens on.

Thanks for sharing! How is the joystick tension? I found that the rog Ally was way too loose. Is it comparable to an Xbox controller? Thx!

Slightly less tension than my Xbox Elite controller, but both feel pretty similar.

@@RypperGaming oh interesting! Yeah I have a series 2 elite controller as well and am very used to stiffer sticks. Good to know they're closer to an Xbox than the Ally. Thanks!

How it compares to the ally

Honestly I am in favor of the Ally right now. The screen on the Legion Go is blurry at any resolution other than 1600p. And this thing cannot push games at 1600p.

Not having VRR is a major downside especially for a handheld like this. Was hoping to switch from rog ally to this but there is no clear advantage except the faster ram speed

No advantages? Removable controllers? Thunderbolt for eGPU compatibility with no proprietary connector? VRR is not issue

@@ESGamingCentralremovable controllers are a gimmick not an advantage 😂 thunderbolt and type c eGPU ports are much lower throughput data speeds the proprietary connector on the Ally will give higher performance on every eGPU situation. Also not having VRR is an issue it's got no freesync or freesync premium or low frame rate compensation at 30fps 😂 do a little research before just talking out the side of your face

With that 8.8 and 144hz ur not going to b hurt by the vrr trust me

@@i_Like_Goya play the ally with vrr with native 1080 in games like cyberpunk and other demanding games and then tell me. As I said there is literally no point if you got an ally and switching to this except a tad bit faster ram.
