  • I've used Konny Summer for more than 3 months now. In this video, I share my thoughts on the pros and cons of this carrier. Follow my motherhood journey at / erikaloww
    I'm using the Konny Summer Cream in S size. I had also purchased a Konny Original in XS before I gave birth, and it is too fitting for my liking. I also didn't expect my baby to sweat so easily, and the Konny Original is too warm. Thus, I decided to try the Summer version out.

    Yay I’m so glad I bought this! I bought the solly and sakura bloom for my first baby, and was gifted this one for baby #2 🎉 I live in a tropical climate so something lightweight and breathable was important for me. It’s a good thing I sized “up” a bit - it feels like a good fit, not too snug and not too loose!

    I just bought this, I haven’t tried it with my baby (6 weeks) but I live in FL and it’s so hot and she’s a warm baby. Your review is great! I did get an XS 😬 I’m small framed but I might need a small, it feels like she’d might be squeezed against me.

      I bought an XS in the original Konny material too! The original material is less stretchy and super warm. And like you said, XS fits but it gets too tight as baby grows bigger. You can consider switching to S once it starts to become too snug. Currently, S fits well. But I don't need to use it much anymore, as my baby girl has started walking! They grow up so fast. 😄

      Hi! How old is your baby currently? Perhaps you can visit the Konny website to get a size recommendation. I think they also allow free exchange of sizes, so you can test to try! Just for sharing, I'm 157cm, 44kg, and my baby is currently about 9kg. She still fits in my S size Konny, but can't for the XS (too tight).

    Hey there! Do you find that the carrier sags with baby in it? Or does it still fit snuggly?

    • @Sumopocky
      @Sumopocky  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Rae! My carrier definitely sags slightly when my baby is in it, but I think it could be because the carrier is still slightly too big (though it's not a huge issue to me). I'm in between a size XS and S. XS is too snug for my baby, and S is slightly too big. But as my baby is growing, I believe it will be just right soon!

      @Sharon 20 y.o - check my vidéó it was perfect for my newborn, but really depends on your baby’s size. My baby is on the petite side

    I'm torn between getting the xs or s. I'm petite sized and the recommended size for me is xs based on the official website, and my baby is only 5 weeks, weighing around 3.5kg. But I was thinking of buying it for long term purposes and wondering if getting an S size would be ideal or just wasteful? I did read some of the reviews to go one size up 🤔🤔

      @Sumopocky  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The website recommends XS for me too, but after trying both, I prefer S as it's much easier to fit my baby in (even though it's slightly loose)

    Im very petite but their website suggested I use a Large. It's made me really hesitant in purchasing because they want me to buy such a large size and I'll be expecting a newborn to go on it.

      Perhaps you can look through the picture gallery to see if you can find someone who’s a similar proportion as you, and see what size they got. That’s what I did which helped a lot :)

      Hi! It depends on your size. You can view their website for the sizing guide: konnybaby.com/pages/2-size-chart I bought XS and it quickly got too tight for my baby and I, but will be great for newborn

    Suitable to use to breastfeed baby?

    • @Sumopocky
      @Sumopocky  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I've never tried to breastfeed my daughter while using the carrier. I checked Konny's FAQ, and this is what is written:
      "We do not have specific guidance for breastfeeding while wearing the carrier. However, many of our customers have discovered their own ways to do so. Please make sure to always:
      - use the outer sash for the baby's stability
      - support the baby's back while using the carrier
      - be seated if you would like to change your baby's position in the carrier"
      I think you could do it if the carrier is not too tight, and baby is cooperative.
