It’s you out of breath 😂 cus that’s exactly how I feel after wrapping, tying, shoving my baby in and making sure it’s all secure. I love my boba wrap though.
I just wanted to bring up something for those watching this. If you are using this to actively nurse and keeping constant attention on your little one, this can definitely be a way to do it. However, keep in mind that especially with a newborn, you always want to place them back in stomach to stomach. Unfortunately, a cross cradle position is one of the most frequent positions young infants are injured while babywearing. It places them at a significant risk for positional asphyxiation, which is silent and can happen even while you are watching. If your little one is falling asleep, definitely face them in towards you ❤ It's why there are almost no videos showing babies cross cradle unless actively nursing.
Great product for the money. Took it for a test walk today and it is easy to get baby in and out of unlike some of those other carriers. It seemes pretty comfortable as well This will be great for the stores and walking the mall I just wish there was a small pocket or mesh net for a phone or other small items.
I appreciate that you are making this video to help others and I don't want to be negative, although I just want to bring up a safety issue, as I'd hate any infants to be at risk. This position is a risk for hip dysplasia as well as asphyxiation. A healthy position to avoid hip dysplasia is the froggy position. You should also make sure that you can easily see your baby's face at all times to make sure that they are able to breathe easily. I personally have heard of a baby in Australia dying while being carried in a sling this way and the mother was unaware until it was too late. Very very sad! Please be careful ❤️
This was very helpful and I did this with my 2020 baby but just learned that having them on this position is not safe and can hurt their hips. Is this true?
This hold worked great for breastfeeding my newborn. I tried it with two wrapes - the Keababies and the Boba, and it worked a lot better with the Boba. Seems like you need a pretty stretchy wrap for this kind of hold, because it takes some adjusting and need to be able to get a hand in to hold the breast and help the baby latch.
OMG thank you!!! Your video is the ONLY one that made it easy to put my 3 month old in the cradle position and I watched a bunch. In fact, I've hated the boba because it's so stretchy and finicky. I ended up buying a baby bjorn mini, which is obviously not complicated at all. But, it doesn't allow the cradling position, so it's awkward for my LO to sleep in. Thank you, again!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Took me a bit to find a video on this! My arms were dying trying to hold my son just like this and I couldn't figure out how to do the wrap.. my wife says thank you for making it so I can hold our boy for longer periods of time when he's cranky 🤣
I wish I knew this for my first baby! I’ve been looking for a tutorial on a breastfeeding wrap! Thank you so much, this is perfect!! Can’t wait to try this on my 3 month old 🥰
Watching this as i have my 3 month old in an upright hug carry. Hes asleep but i breastfeed and my boobs are rather large and i cant help but feel like hes bent all crazy! Lol im gonna attempt the switch without waking him. Wish me luck! 🤞🏼
Thanks so much for this. You make it look so easy though 😁 Can I ask, if you wanted to then feed from the other side, do you have to take the wrap off and put it on again so that the "pouch" you want to switch to is the one that is underneath the X?
I don’t think you’d have to remove and put on all over again, you would just undo the pouch and make the new pouch on the other side. That’s the only thing that changes. And then redo butt wrap and 3rd cover.
Yes it is, you aren't stretching their hips apart like with some holds so you don't have to be as careful with it. Like when you do the hug hold you have to be careful that their knees are higher than their butt because that's when it could damage their hips. But this one is just a basic cross hold like you'd hold them in while breastfeeding, just fine for their hips.
If you need to take baby in and out of the Boba, can you leave it on and then put them back in later or do you need to start again and re-tie it all when you put baby back in? Thank you so much!!
You can just leave it on and wear it like a shirt! That’s one of the great things about these stretchy wraps, you don’t have to keep tying them several times a day!
I JUST HAD TWIN GIRLS 4 WEEKS AGO. & FIRST TIME I TRIED MY BOBA ON, BY THE TIME I WAS DONE & READY TO PUT BABIES IN I WAS SWEATING SO BAD. THE FABRIC ISN'T BREATHABLE AT ALL.
You are the ONLY video I can find on how to cross cradle hold and nurse in a baby wrap. Thank you!!
You're so welcome, glad to help! :)

Thank you for this i have never learned this n im on baby #3! What kinda pacifier is that?
Looks like a rubber pacifier to me. That’s what we use. A few brands are EcoPiggy, Hevea, and Natursutten.

Yes you definitely can!
Does this work for colicky babies?
Your baby is really big. How many months during this video?
I don't quite remember, would have to watch a baby update around that time to find out ;)
@@WilsonHomestead 6 months after watching again the video :)

You're so welcome, I love replying when I have time to :)
In manipur we use cotton cloths for carrying a baby n it is not strechable
Hmm interesting
Would this be okay for an 11 month old?
Yeah you could still use it for a baby that old, it will just be a little heavier and bulkier ;)
