How many routes or warehouses are in Butler County? Because if there are routes or warehouses close to Zeienople Crannberry Twp? I'm not driving down to Pittsburgh or Coraopolis lol Nahhhh. I'm about 60 miles north of the City area.
Best flex day I had was on a $100 / 4 hour block. But when I got to the warehouse they had too many drivers. Got the whole pay to deliver ONE package on the way back home 😂
Both times I’ve shown up so far I’ve gotten the full $80 pay for nothing
Wow she was super lucky! My first block was 4 hours and it took me 150 miles. First stop was 45 miles away.

I was on the list for about 4 months. I just started about 4 weeks ago. Yesterday had my first horrible block. $82 57 mile first drop with 10 stops ended up 80 miles out at the end. Then had to drive home 75 miles.
It's worth taking a couple minutes to see how you're stops are routed. Sometimes it'll have you drive 5-8 miles away for your next stop when after you're done with that , it'll have you back track those 5-8 miles to another stop that was maybe 1 mile away from your start point. It CAN be that awful.
I use Google maps to see if the distance between stops is actually the shortest or not as well.
apartments are the worse in sacramento. the way they’re numbered , the amount of dwellings, and the security gates. it’s a maze. some gates don’t work at times. gps gets confused it’s crazy
It’s really the number of Rides we get not the hours you work!
I was on the waiting list for a little over a year. Once i got accepted I only did Amazon Fresh Instant Offers because I never found anything over base pay on scheduled blocks. One day I decided to try it out and did a 4 hour block for $96. It ended up being a Downtown SD block. 25 stops. Took me 6 hours 🙃
That's minimum wage 🤦🏻♂️
and then you get that ever so kind notice "our best drivers complete these trips in the allotted 4 hours." even though you're a contractor and they can't tell you how to do you work.

I’ve been on the waitlist since February of 2023 . Wonder how much longer 😪
after check in the app will change when routes ready. it’ll say where to locate your route. 2)now i tap the screen and the camera opens. i then scan 1 item in the cart and the app will tell me if this cart is mine or not. if not i tap screen to acknowledge understanding. i then locate my route and repeat. 3)now at the vehicle, i scan each package. there’s 3 parts to the route; page 1 is a list of the orders in order. page 2 is a map with each stop pinned. page 3 is summary. going to page 1 i pull the screen as if i were looking for notifications. a small scanner pops up and i scan each item. it’ll tell me everything as well as delivery # . i then write it’s number in marker on package, this allows me to place them in order of delivery plus double checking load to deal with any issues before getting on the road i.e. missing/damaged items.etc. that’s the process at the same day delivery hub here

Also Sub same day and Logistics warehouses work different as far as scanning goes, SSD you can scan and number each package and Logistics the package are already numbered and if you scan one package and some times they are batched together so if you scan one it'll mark the whole batch as scanned.
at the regular hubs the yellow sticker has the delivery # on it on each package so it’s easy to organize
I'm not far from you Mike. I keep hearing about people saying to organize by stop (we have the yellow labels) That is 100% impossible. Our orders are MASSIVE, they fill my car top to bottom, front to back, to the point i have envelopes on my dash. And I also fold my seats down. And some of the packages themselves are huge. Just massive boxes and HEAVY too. There's NO way to organize these, we're lucky to get them in the car at all. And some of our routes are 60 miles away. We get sent off to logging roads/4 wheeler paths miles deep in the woods in the mountains with no cell service. You name it, we get sent there. This route she got was pure cake.
Damn I feel you Jason. In what area do you live? I get that in Maryland. Woods, mountains... almost got stuck in snowy mountains a few times.

For anything outside of a same day starion, i use the yellow driver's aid stickers. I also follow the route sheet and arrange my vehicle accordingly.
Greatest Tip was from a Flexer that said on the tiny yellow sticker is the Route number, problem was STOP 1 is counted as the Pick-up Fulfillment Center.. so USE A RED SHARPIE and write numbers on each pkg ONE UP... stop 1 on the pkg was really STOP 2.. and STOP 2 was STOP 3 and so on... that was the only annoying thing FIRST DAY on the job 😇😇😇Oh the FLEX GPS lost signal - so I had another phone using WAZE that helped me complete the block !!! 😎😎😎
She was very lucky. I am also in here area, never got a route like that. I no long go to the west side Of Phoenix (were Suprise is). I stay on the east side.
I normally organize mines by numbers 1-12 in the front back seat floor 13-19 20-29 left side of the back seat and 30-39 right side of back seat and 40 and up trunk
They also sometimes categorize them AAA - Bbb - ccc - ddd and I do the same with those
Being close drop off it depends on the warehouse you're picking up from. I have 4 warehouses close to me 15- 20 minutes max and I only do 2 of them. The 2 I like the stops from one are like 1-3 minute drop off and the other 2-6 minutes and like she said most times you are done early.
I was on the list for two years. If all routes were as long and difficult as the comments suggest, the wait would be about 15 minutes.
I am in Alaska and was on the list for months. Finally there now and our routes are messed up right now. Sometimes, I am in town, others I have to drive 40+miles out of town before delivering my first package.
I waited about 6 months to get on the app. Been nervous to do a block. But doing my first block tomorrow. I'll update you on how it goes.
I use the letters AAA together BBB and so forth.
Sometimes a stop has multiple pckgs tho, and they are NOT the same grouping letter so then you gotta dig
I completely understand with you Mike I would never jump around like that only because I have done that and you waste more time. Now back in the days yes but nowadays Amazon has improved their system
That is a new warehouse too....in surprise doesn't have many apartments just senior centers. It's next to sun city. I lived in the worst part of Glendale
I was on the wait list for 2 or 3 months in my area. I finally got on and now I'm waiting for my alcohol certificate to be processed. I am excited to see how my area is and if I do well at it.

I noticed lately a couple of times I check in 15 mintues early yet it shows under my itinerary that I was late? Is this just a glitch? Also I run the route in their order ans usually ahead of schedule, yet occasionally I have a late delivery. Is there a way to fix or avoid it being marked as late?
I'm in Atlanta, I think that in my area they may not use that many independent contractors here and use company drivers.

Bahahaha, NO. I deliver for an SSD, and I can usually count on putting at least 100 miles on my car. They’re getting worse, too. My last one was a 3.5 hour block with 48 packages (42 stops), but it took me an hour to get to the first stop because of traffic. I want to try the other warehouse that neighbors the SSD, but those blocks are few and far between.
They now have driver assist stickers in toledo ohio. Theyre bright yellow. It tells you either the stop number or package number in route order. I cant remember which but its extremely helpful. Instead of the usual looking for the persons name and or the last 4 of the package number.
They put them on all the packages and or envelopes
That is an old video, I believe over a year ago, some markets are now over saturated and barely see any offers sit.
My warehouse uses smart labels now all the packages are numbered
When I got it I wasn’t on a waitlist… & yesterday I took one, but the pay for the route was not worth it
Had my worst one yesterday. 3hr block, showed up and they didn't have racks for 3hr blocks. They then started cannibalizing 4hr block shipments to make routes for me and 1 other driver. Had packages that didn't show up in the app no matter how many times I rebooted. AND the last 2 stops were 2 1/2 hrs away from the facility which would have gotten be back 5 hrs after the block started. I called support and told them there was no way I could deliver the last 2 stops which were still an hour away. We'll see what happens to my standing but I couldn't do it had to get home to my kids.
I want to try to do this, but if you only get one route and get it done fast enough, you only get paid for a couple of hours? I might as well stay at DD and keep my 3 hour shift, I make 60 bucks, there is no incentive to switch if thats the case. Im trying to make money, and delivering 25-30-40 packages seems like its a buck a package.

I just did my first flex. I got 4 orders for a 3 1/2 hour shift. I was done in less than a hour bc of the drive lol so awesome so 63 bucks a hour !!

I’ve been on the Flex wait list for over a year - but I’m an actual Amazon driver. I cannot imagine just picking a random route. In under a year I’ve been in four vehicle related incidents - people suck at driving and I’m glad that wasn’t my gas or insurance.
Edit* Also glad our loadout area is inside the warehouse.
Amazon only has flex drivers, rig drivers are 3rd party drivers in California.

I laughed when you said optimized route from Flex. Lol. Im a DSP driver and Flex is just completely terrible at optimization. I constantly have stops out of order, group stops that are more the 150 feet apart, businesses at the end of my route... Amazon has the worst routing of any other courier companies.

Never take a route for base pay especially if you have that many offers. There's bound to be a better paying one in there somewhere.

Sub same day have driver aid so you can scan and place in car in order from least to greastest not double scanning.
If i do DSP warehouses, I get tight clusters like that, Same day sub warehouses are typically more spread.

It got worse on my area! They're literally sending you to this countryside routes with outrageous millage! Gravel paths, rough roads, big dogs... You name it... Amazon won't pay for any damages to your car under $1000... That's a JOKE...I'm literally about to burn that vest!

she very easily could have scanned the tote and that accepts every package inside it.
the totes are also grouped by stop. on the route sheet they give you, there's a list of groupings. (in the planned order) those will correspond to the yellow stickers as well.
