I have dlivrd, my first order was $20. Avg is about $22/order. Once i had an $86 order. Yes, $20 is a low payout for catering. Dlivrd wont take orders without a tip.
Averaging $22/order (while not their huge $35/order claim) is still solid assuming the mileage is ~$2. For example my numbers have been huge on DeliverThat, like $3 a mile or more. I've only done a few shifts but looking forward to more.
DILVRD takes no tip orders but they add a tip to them
@@MileHiMiles dlivrd wont out out orders that dont have tips. So every order has a tip on it
@@YourDriverMike it depends. Yes looking just at numbers, youd be correct. BUT a lot of catering orders go to doctors offices, hospitals where you cant find parking, then take numerous trips in/out of the facility to brong everything in whoch takes time, then time to set up. Its not a simple “drop off” like doordash etc. So even $22/hr may be good, depending where the catering droppff is, how many floors up do ya have to go, how many trips back/forth to car do ya need to do; all adds up. Ya got to pay attention to how much the cateriing food order is too.
my biggest order was $500 that includes tip
Anything over 10miles is a no. Also most Auntie Anne's locations are in malls so you have to factor in amount of time walking through to them parking, and other delays because of long lines at the mall as well
Good video as usual Mike.
In the Las Vegas area the most catering orders I have done in a single day was 4. Dlivrd does pay well if you have a vehicle large enough to handle orders over $1000, the highest single delivery I have done paid about $300. Right now I am on about 5 different catering apps and I try to take at least 1 catering order a day. The problem Ellen will have is the orders are pretty hard to get in her area of the city. Most of the orders tend to be about a half hour drive from her area.
Appreciate you sharing! Could you share some of the other catering apps you use? I know of DeliverThat, Dlivrd, I think Dropoff has a catering niche?
Zifty, and Skipcart. The others I am on were from Paraworks. @@YourDriverMike
That is so true! I called Dlivrd support and they most of the orders they get are in Vegas and I’m closer to Henderson.
The app has a pretty bad rating. The reviews (3.1) are mostly complaining about them stealing your tips, and how the app functions. Last time I didn't take the reviews seriously I got burned so a hard pass for me!
I find it funny she said it's a low payout. Door dash in my market I often see $1 a mile
I understand this is different than door dash but still, and if you're polite and friendly. I rarely have bad experiences. At most someone not answering their phone when I show up
Thanks for the video, now I'm on the Albuquerque wait list
I signed up December 2023, still on the waitlist but we'll see
Did you get on yet in Albuquerque? I'm onboard already... they are awesome
@@df7817 not yet, but only signed up 6 days ago when this video was posted
Same company as deliverthat with lower payout, the wait time payout is also unbelievable, many Ezcater orders
They used to pay well. I was averaging around $42. Now with so many drivers I only see the worst of the worst. $20-$24 to drive 17 miles. Not including driving to the restaurant
Just did my first shift today now that they are officially opened up for Pittsburgh. My pay was $20.60, 5.1 miles (7 mins from the location). Order was $76.38.
Yeah, I don’t never take pictures at Pickup. I’ll take pictures at drop off of the set up or the food when I hand it off.
It depends on the order, I've had Dlivrd orders that won't allow you to go forward in the app without taking a picture for proof of pick up. I've heard this happens when a customer has a prior issue with getting their order.
It really depends on the order.
Been doing it for 2 years...they send out mostly $20-25....occasionally it's better...remember you need bags and a cart...have delivered $1000 dollars worth of food and have been paid $20...that's over 100lbs...some buildings only have stairs
Recently did my first Dlivrd shift. Got $25. It was 6.7 miles, not including driving to the restaurant or driving home, of course. It was okay.
Yes that one is okay appreciate you sharing
Was good a year ago in Syracuse went down hilll after that😮
They will start paying high then over time they will drop their pay like everyone else.
They tell you when you do the on boarding videos and all that they require you to do a set up unless the customer tells you otherwise
Perfect, thanks for clarifying

If its within 10-15 miles, you can knock that out and splash that 20 right in the tank! Boom, almost 6 hours worth of driving😊
What city available??
So many side hustles out there, so few in my area haha
The best order i had with them was 350$.... we delivrd for a new banking call center.
I didn't know they had other choices for delivering
Delivered works this way the more you take the more they give you you start off we’re getting like one a day and then they feed you to a day and then you can get more the more the more confident they are that you can do the work the more the feature And then there’s also where are you get on Emerald which is the top-tier you get access early access to deliveries you can write wrote your own deliveries once you get on that
For me they range from $20 to $35. They are usually only a few miles but it takes me 6+ miles to get to the power strip to pickup. All good so far, BUT, from home door back to home door it's always an hour or a tad over. The percentage of food total is horrible. I now only accept them for $30+. I did have one that was $90, but that one because the actual customer was NOT a pharma rep (they are limited on how much they can tip), it was by the actual office and was an $850 order. Hope it helps.
95% of the tips are $10 and these places get 300-600 worth of food which is insane so you get $20 usually.
Yeah for that amount I'm expecting 10% at least hm
@YourDriverMike Exactly!! But unfortunately it's not reality. I do know 2 medical places that tip atleast 10-15% and the one gets catering every week day lol Those workers must be thrilled.
DILVRD is the same as DT just no tip pool
Reading the reviews on the app and ALOT of bad reviews ....the pay is ok but alot of miles ...not seeming worth the effort
I think it depends on location. If you're in a larger city you'll see pretty good orders. You also won't see many orders when first start out, they need to see if you can handle larger orders. You also have to try to reach elite or emerald status before you really start seeing more volume. It's definitely a filler app. DeliverThat has more volume, but you also have to work towards becoming an preferred driver than an elite driver.
All the reviews for this platform are saying it's garbage!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS!!
A low payout is less than $1 per mile on door dash. When I get those $2 offers that are 4 mi away, I just let the time run out, cheapskates...
Do you have a link to Ellen's video?
Mike linked my channel in the show notes!😊

Driver partners "tend to average" $35/hr. LOL
🤣
Yeah bro, that that 2 miles for 20 bucks is the miles from the pick up spot to the delivery and not only do you have to deliver it but you have to set it up depending on how much you have to set up can be a low payout you know, I mean, I’ve done some $35 orders for a couple of miles. No biggie.
Takes an hour to do one order. I don’t care for dlivrd. I’ve done 30
My last dash started a quarter mile from home
How was it?
I can tell you as a medical sales rep there's nothing worse than when you've been asked to host a lunch you place the order at least a week in advance..
You wanted to arrive a half hour before you need it and every single time it arrives 2 hours late!!
That's why that woman had attitude. She just had to endure everyone in the room glaring at her because they were ready and they're starving and they want to eat lunch and it wasn't there..
So walk in their confidence ask them if they need help and keep it moving.
This may seem silly... but why not pick up the order yourself? Even better: get something you can pick up the day before, then heat it up in your own oven and bring it to the office early.
You're in sales, and to look professional you have to have your stuff together.
The Catering apps do not want the driver to arrive at the pick-up no more then 10 minutes early. It is same for the dropping off to the customer. How the restaurant handles the order is out of the drivers control. I have had to wait up to 45 minutes while the restaurants finishes up a catering order.
I was doing Amazon flex, but the specific store I was taking (near my house) was paying 36 for 25 miles +
Yes all of the retail shifts I've done on Flex have been at a loss or breakeven pretty much
Not too many orders here for Delvrd......disappointing here.
they cut their base pay to $10 dollars a drive plus a small tip........ I was making good money till l APRIL 1, 2024 ..... where is their written policy
No. These orders start at 20.
20$ for two miles.. It's about time folks not miles. The most important thing in life is TIME.
Hello sir, Are you looking for professonal youtube thumbnail designer?
1 or max 2 orders a day, 3 to 4 days a week.. not very consistent but it’s always a plus that pays my groceries per week.. doing it more than 1 year
Nice thanks for sharing, what do you think you average per order? $35?
@@YourDriverMike $35 is too high, $27 average is what I make with dlivrd knowing that exceptions occur and got one day a $118 (delivering and setting up) for less than 30min active time from Noodles and Company to a Mercy Hospital.. the majority of orders I get are in the $20s for a few miles! It’s always better than doordash/ ubereats..
Edit: 60% orders: $20s
20% orders: $30s
15% orders: $40s
5% orders: > $40..
Now if you always cherry pick it’s clear that you can have 100% > $40, but I love the interactions with professionals, they let you know where to set up and leave you alone.. I take the $20s orders to stay active in the platform and have a better chance for the monthly sweepstakes to earn some extra $$ which can reach $500 during holidays… I hope it helps
@@YourDriverMike well, I would say the average is around $27, I receive a majority of $20s, and the rest is between $30 and $50. I got once a $118 from Noodles and Company for Mercy Hospital but it’s rare to receive more than $50, I’m in NorCal.. I hope it helps
She said she doesn’t have to be there for about 45 minutes and she was 15 minutes away so I doubt it was 2 miles altogether
That's what I was thinking, so maybe what $20 for 6/8 miles all together?
