It takes like a day to do this, if you already have parts. I don't remember to be honest, but I think I did clear the faulty codes after replacing them
Just got engine light and code P0022 but the engine runs good. I just replaced my alternator few days ago maybe there is something to do with that? Is there any risk to drive with that code until it gets fixed?
If you start to get misfire than that's when you need to get it fixed, but this could be just the beginning of an issue and you can try to clear the code, and if it pops up again than there is a permanent issue that needs to be looked at
Just changed oil couple weeks ago, seems like it’s a bad sensor I’ll try to put Seafoam oil treatment cleaner as you said in the video and see if it works. Thank you for responding.
2012- 750xi. 129k I’ve never had a code or engine light or anything come up. But rough idle jerking and hesitation in low gears burning more oil than usual. Already replaced MAF, plugs twice, coils, upper breather hoses, changed oil. Running out of options/ patience. Wld next option be Solenoids, injectors or push into river
Did you replace with new parts or used? Like ignition coils and spark plugs? If yes, than I would replace solenoids, because I had same issue with my other bmw too, so I think it is the most common thing on bmw. If this doesn't help, then there could ne some vacuum leak too

Hi sir .. i have the same problems on my n63 .. fir the first time i see your videos… i have a lot of missfireing… for all the injectors … at 135k km… i will change this solenoids to See if my problems gone
To be honest I haven't removed it, so I would have to figure out too, I haven't replaced injectors on this car. Why do you want to replace injectors? Have you tried replacing ignition coils and spark plugs first?
@@mechanictechniks5809 I’ve replaced the coils, and the plugs twice. When I pull the plugs for bank one they are clean. When I checked bank two they have noticeable wear. For the N63 they’ve had injectors issues causing the misfires. So replacing them seems like the only option left
@@mechanictechniks5809 they were brand new coils packs and I’m on my second set of plugs in less that 200miles. As well Ive replaced both HPFP. All that’s left are the injectors
That tank is seprate from the engine and turbos. It's only for the intercooler. Has its own pump as well which is there in the video. Bottom hose from tank to intercooler on the left
Try replacing the timing solenoids, they get bad because people don't change oil at least every 5 thousand miles. You can change oil and drive, and it may get better, because they may get cleaned

If the vehicle still drives good I would drive it, just replace your engine oil and filter every 5,000 miles not every 15,000 miles

Yes, I am happy, I recommend changing engine oil at least every 5k, otherwise they can go bad again because of bad oil

@eduardsein7283 try replacing ignition coils, and spark plugs first, it is less work, if it doesn't help, then that is solenoids
How does that black junction box on the passenger side come off to get to the injectors?

On which bank did you get error for selonoids? I have error on bank 2 and I change oils and filter plus selonoids but still have error
Have you changed spark plugs and ignition coils? I think I had on both banks, because it was a random misfire
Was this a N63TU? Mine doesn’t have the vanos solenoids one on top of the other. One is behind the throttle body?
What year is your bmw?
Mine is 2009, it may be different on other year models, but all bmws have vanos solenoids as far as I know

I had the same problem on my N63 engine misfire cylinders 6 & 8 i replaced all the spark plugs and coils and problem solved
