OUR LUCKY DAY. so were all housebound the now just watching all your videos again everyday . cant wait until new tour starts again and yous both are on road touring once more

If your near a pound shop they do a big roll of blue paper its very good value for cleaning purposes. And I’m pleased I’m not the only person who hoovers my cooker top 😂
Hi, great job, do you include things like silicon Lub on the external hatch door seals, WD40 on all hinges and locks, cleaning out the scuttle, cleaning and greasing the electric step?
I use silicon spray on hinges and seals. I don't tend to use WD40 much, it's a bit sticky and attracts the dirt. I haven't got an electric step, but I would probably use silicon spray as well.
Hi Bob just take care regarding cleaning acrylic windows, if you remember mine had started to crack & craze around where the latches are fixed to the windows not long after getting my new MH, on the first hab service the dealer tried to get them replaced under warrenty but was rejected as they said I had used harsh chemicals, they reported back that some commercial window cleaning product contain chemicals which can damage the windows, It's a long story but the windows will be replaced whenever I can get the 2nd Hab service done but dealer is now closed due to the virus
Yes I remember your video about that, I've used Autoglym Fast Glass on the windows and never had a problem in all the years I've had a motorhome. Did they say which chemicals?
@@BobEarnshawMoHo No I think it was a generic answer to get out of warranty claim, I did try to get an answer as we knew we had only wiped condensation off cloth & wiped with warm soapy water so they were making me out to be a liar, luckily all my pestering ended up finding something out regarding the sale of my MH, so dealer said they would replace at there cost, I also managed to get some extras fitted as well 👍😁
@Autotrail Madman Hi the owners manual says to clean acrylic windows with warm mild soapy water, windows have nets on which we rarely lift up, we noticed the cracking 4 months after collection of the new MH while wiping condensation off with paper towel / micro fibre cloth. We had not cleaned the windows with any cleaning product so when told we had used Chemicals it made my blood boil as they made me out to be a liar, but with my persistant pestering it uncovered that the dealers sales department were not honest regarding the sale of this MH. A long story, so the dealer is replacing them at there cost 👍
Hi Bob, addicted to all your videos, got my first Motorhome this year couldn’t have done without your series “New to Motorhome”. Please do you have any hints on how to clean the green staining on the mastic sealing the body parts on the outside of my Motorhome?
A small tip, try to not use paper towel as its abrasive if possible use microfibre or stockinette and when dirty discard! I used to own a car customising company in London.

As they say"Cleanliness is next to Godliness ". I am a great advocate of Tesco baby wipes (other makes are available) having all our dogs. The wipes get rid of most marks and stains the only thing that worries me is what they do to babies bums! We go through a small rain forest of kitchen roll and glass cleaner keeping doggy nose prints off the windows. We did try keeping the insect blinds down but then noticed they were getting marked as well, any suggestions for cleaning them? Guy.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo I use different colours for different items. Green for glass yellow for kitchen and red for toilets. I boil wash after use so they are sterile for next time. Simples

You could try Fenwick's Caravan cleaner, they do a black streak remover. I tend to use Diamondbrite Dry Wash, that seems to work.

Thanks, I think it says just to use a damp cloth on the insect blinds. I always put them up if Poppy's around!

Yes, you are right, I have some microfibre cloths I use, but don't like using them in the toilet and fridge.
