    Thanks for the video. I was being kind of cheap and I have used Orei products in the past but they worked really good for 4k60 back then but I bought their BK-104 splitter and it didn’t do the auto downscaling properly so I will try this out. Do you think me running the Orei BK-401A (4k120)switch with the splitter you recommended would be fine or should I just return my switch as well and combo the same brand together. Thanks again.

    • @FrankieJPlays
      @FrankieJPlays  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s pretty long but if it is high end fiber optic it might be an exception. However, their own description states that they recommend 10ft or less, i use a 15ft in my setup and have had no issues but again 50ft sounds a bit extra. What i could recommend but it would involve more money is to buy hdmi signal boosters and use 2 20ft or 4 10ft cables if you decide to try it with that 50ft and it gives issues.

    • @FrankieJPlays
      @FrankieJPlays  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No it does not downscale frame rate you will have to use 120hz or 60hz on both. It only downscales resolution so 4k > 1080p but it maintains the frame rate used. If you use 4k120 it will downscale to 1080p120 it can’t do 4k120 into 1080p60 frame rate stays the same.

      The resolution doesn’t matter but the hz do.
