How To Use An HDMI Switcher-Easy Tutorial

In this video, I show you and tell you how to use an HDMI switcher. They are actually really easy to use and extremely useful if you have many different things that you want to hook up to a television and only a couple of ports to plug in to. With that being said, they come in a variety of shapes and sizes, but I show you how to use them in a general manner that is similar with all of the HDMI switchers that you might find on the market.

Clearly explained and helpful for me ! For me It seems to lessen the quality of videos-be it dvd, roku or Apple TV when using switcher-is that expected behavior?

it might depending on the switcher you got ... if it is a basic switcher then it might be lower resolution than the dvd/screen ... you can get 2k and 4k

i managed to do all of that on my own but found that i couldn't get the remote to work and clicking the button to switch to 1, 2 or 3 didn't do anything either.

If you use this on a tv how would u switch back to tv?

Just keep clicking the button on the switch. It basically just switches between the different HDMI cable which is plugged into the switch device.
So in your case, one of the HDMI cables plugged into the switch device would be for your TV. And then you just keep pressing the button until you get back to TV.
It basically just switches between the different HDMI connections you have plugged into the switch.
Some switches actually comes with a controller you can use as well. That way you can do it remotely while sitting in your couch or something.
