    Bro, no need to start your videos with a disclaimer/ apology. This is YOUR 32, mod it the way that pleases YOU...everyone that is subbed to your channel will appreciate the fact that you are sharing (more than anything) the process of installation and troubleshooting so that it may save us the headaches should we decide to do the same mods. Thanks for taking the time to bring detailed content man....much appreciated

    Super affordable for an upgrade that is very important once you start getting up there in HP. Treasure trove of info in this video and with most of the parts available on Amazon, hope this video convinces some r32 gtr owners out there who otherwise wouldn't have upgraded their brakes - we all need to be safe out there.

    Why yes... I am an OG member.😉 Not too long ago, I wondered about when you would be doing this mod and I knew it would come in due time. Hey man, nothing wrong with a budget-friendly car mod. I'm sure most of your viewers can appreciate that (especially the ones who have a family, house, etc. to support). Been wanting to do big brake kit on my r32 soon, thank you so much for making this video, This will be so helpful for me moving forward. As much as I want to go with ENDLESS or 6Grex, they are just so damn expensive, I could probably buy another RB26 for the price of those kits :( 350z or R34 might be the way to go.

    Awesome job not stripping your brake lines. I wasnt so lucky and I ended up stripping every single flared fitting that went into each of my calipers. Luckily the Nismo Heritage program was able to get me all new lines, but there was a lot of waiting. In the future (and what I learned) , a flare nut wrench was much safer for those fragile flare nuts. Nice job man.

    @goodezilla- so I love what you have done for us down to the very details on how to do this. I also have to give you a shout out because I bought exactly everything you listed and about to do this upgrade. Thanks man.
    Side note question, I don’t want to just toss my old front brakes. Will I be able to put the old front brakes and use them on my rear ones since they are smaller to start with? I’m trying to save cost. Thanks man.

    • @Goodezilla
      @Goodezilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you for the support! You could put them in the rear with some custom made brackets, but the front to rear bias would be way off. You'd need much bigger brakes in the front than these.

    • @CarsAndTan
      @CarsAndTan 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      GoodeZilla so to get it straight, I would need a much bigger brake setup in the front to have the old front ones to use in the rear... is it because it’s too powerful to use on the rear end and will not stop properly? Thank for your help in the GTR community brother!

    • @Goodezilla
      @Goodezilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CarsAndTan yes that's pretty much it. Without getting some sort of brake bias control, it would most likely just lock the rears up every time you hit the brakes.

    Actually there are some owners that are crazy on BBKs. Well, maybe not in the U.S. But there are many of them, had a couple of friends in Japan and in U.K. 😂 As for the brakes, we have OEM brembos for the BNR32, the V-Spec ones. They are the same with the BCNR33, but price wise is the same also, it has the "GTR Tax" as well. LOL. Evo calipers are cheaper too, so they are good options, even the Z ones.

      The brakes are still doing well, I only did the fronts because I wasn't sure which rotors to use in the rear (drum style ebrake) and I haven't test fit rear calipers from a 350z to see if they bolt up or not.

    I learned so much through your trials and accomplishments. Funny thing, I was looking at a upgrade for my GTR (32) as well, which lead me here! Once again, Brother, Thanks! I would add this tip to my own!!
    Two more questions:
    - what would you recommend for the rear brakes?
    - Are you going to Import Alliance in ATL for March 2020?

    • @Goodezilla
      @Goodezilla  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey man, I'm glad my videos can help you out! For the rear brakes you can always source the actual R33 Skyline brembos..but they are a pretty penny. I've not really looked into the rear setup yet. I'd have to look around at the options, as I don't want to run a dual caliper setup for the ebrake. I'd like to keep the stock drum style ebrake/rotor setup. I am not going to that. That is very far from me, and I work full time.

    Very interesting to go big brake :) the green make it pops throught the wheels, you should have a screw on the rotor to make it stay in place and i think you miss it

    • @Goodezilla
      @Goodezilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching. Not all rotors have a screw to keep it in place. The hole on this rotor is actually to help get it off the hub if its rusted on. You screw a bolt into the whole and it pushes it away from the hub.

    Are you doing the rears as well or do you know if the 350z rears will work?

      I don't know what I want for the rear yet. I don't think 350z rears are bolt on.

    Put at least 4pot AP Racing, Alcon or 6 pot Brembo/ Endless/ Project Mu for the GTR R32. Yea, I know it's your car. But don't be economical on the GTR.
    I use AP racing for my R32.

    Does this work for the r32 gtst type m? Is it the same bracket ?

    • @Goodezilla
      @Goodezilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure to be honest. Do you know if GTR brakes will bolt up to the GTS-T? If so, I'm sure these would work as well. They just sit a little further out toward the wheel as shown in the video. But no bracket is needed. It bolts to stock location on the GTR.

    sorry but sumimoto BNR32 isn,t like a brembo ? I don’t think there is a big difference

    • @Goodezilla
      @Goodezilla  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are both 4 piston calipers. But the Brembo uses bigger rotors.
