The reason your z32 caliper didn't fit is because the rotor is too large in diameter for those calipers. I know this because I bought R33 GTST calipers, but bought Z32 rotors. The Z32 rotors are too small in diameter for the R33 calipers, leaving a gap. It's not that the mounting holes for the Z32 caliper need to be longer, you just need Z32 rotors for the Z32 calipers. Great vid btw. I bought these calipers AGES ago (my project has been mothballed 10+ years) and couldn't remember which calipers I had. You cleared this up for me! Ahaha. Yes the pump mity vac is one of my most used tools. Great when you don't have a big air supply for a pneumatic mity vac. Stay tuned I received the new caliper today.

feels, with my jzx90 finding cross reference stateside parts has become a daily staple just so i know what i need in a pinch, its just when it comes down to chassis specific parts that it can be a real pain in the ass to deal with

Thought the 32 GTR used 296mm disc like the 33gtst except 32 is 32mm. 33 is 30mm.!?

Yes 32GTR is different tan R33 GTST

@@tysonc1633 R33 gtst discs are same spec as "Front Rotors (1997-2001 Infiniti Q45): Brembo 09.9057.10" I'll let you do the math

@@CMAutohaus looked up the infinity brembo’s, they are 296mm 28mm. Therefore 32 GTR calipers fit. I’m guessing yours aren’t gtr calipers. They are probably 32 gts which fit 280mm disc. Pics show gtr32 with no fins.

GTST calipers only. If you want to run z32 or R32 GTR calipers you need to run a smaller diameter rotor.

S15,Z32 and r32 rotors are the same
R33 rotors are bigger
R34 GTT are slightly bigger than r33

you have to rebuild the caliper, steel piston is rust.
