    I know this is a relatively old video. However, a quick thank you. I've had 10 touch on's for about 2 years and still have 8 left. Watched your video on different application methods and tried yesterday. Love GT shampoo btw, then using an ik foamer with 15ml into 500ml DI water. Leave and rinse off. And then it rained. Wow!
    So easy.
    Anyway, 👍

      I was happy with it , gave some away , tried various methods as you’ve seen, I def love the spray n rinse better than using as shampoo 💪

    Bit late with comments on this Graeme, but these 2 products for me and superb. I used Touchless as a pre wash for the first time today and it removed every bit of dirt. Touch On also a decent product but not my favourite. Oh and I definitely got the lip reading 😂

    Great demonstration of different ways to use the products Graeme, really enjoyed that video. I really have to get myself some of this stuff.

      Might have to test that out

    I have used Garage Therapy wheel shampoo, Graham Also very good product, especially if your wheels are not to dirty.

      I love it too!, it’s needing a good correction as it is a mess!! Just finding the time and preferably indoors 🥴

    Just a thought, rather than emptying the touch on from the cannon into a spare bottle, could you not use it up by continuing to spray it through the cannon into a bucket, then empty that into a pump sprayer, thay way what's going into the pump sprayer is exactly what went on to the car, I.e., the 4% PIR?

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s actually genius 👌🤣

  • @greymark420

    Also reminds me of Autoglym Polar Seal, which is recommended to be used once a month.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Does it?, wow!, that’s interesting as it was out quite a while ago, have you used Polar seal?

    • @greymark420
      @greymark420 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@GMDetails Yes i have Graham. Basically you apply it through a foam gun and then pressure wash it off. It leaves a hydroscopic layer which helps both in drying the car and protection. Not tried it with a pump spray though.

      @@greymark420 Can be used in a trigger sprayer tbf. Even better value using it that way as well. A nice topper over a hard core wax I can imagine.

    • @GMDetails

      Thank you 😀
      Touch - Less I love as a pre wash, and would continue using it if it wasn’t for Garage Therapy new snow foam , I’ve compared the two in the GT pre production video and I’ve found GT snowfoam to be more effective at lower dilutions, dwells longer too
      Touch - On I like the results from the lance , easy application, in a wash bucket nope, never will I use that method again. It’s also good diluted down as a QD, but the 10 sachets annoy me, more plastic waste that can’t be recycled, that’s a let down in my opinion.
      It’s also described as a ‘crystalline ceramic coating’ which is BS marketing , Bouncers Done & Dusted Si is my next one to try out but longevity wise , CarPro Hydro2 lite is incredible, if you look way back to my very first videos you’ll see a test of some sealants and longevity which Carpro wins

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Nick!, maybe a slightly higher concentration of touch on but since making the video, the beading has def improved and the sheeting is fantastic

  • @r49309
    @r49309 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Recently used Touch-Less agree it has the cleaning edge over Auto Foam and, for me, worth the extra money. Still to see how it performs over winter. Applied through foam lance and pressure rinsed I've found is much better than pump spray and hose rinse as gives quicker more complete & consistent coverage and pressure removes more dirt. Not tried GT foam yet as I like to use up products I have so will be next year unless TL does not do the job I need over winter.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      My Autofoam doesn’t really get to come out often now as Touchless is a lot better in my opinion , by the time you’ve used up the TL, maybe a better version of GT will be on the market , they’re continually improving products as they’re learning too being a new small brand but the quality is def up there with the best of the rest 👌

  • @jonb8241
    @jonb8241 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I feel they maybe should supply in a bottle very similar to what you see with well known petrol additive.... where you tip/squeeze and it measures out into the top section of the bottle.... can then be reused time and time again.

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Absolutely SPOT ON!!, you see what I did there? 😅
      You’re right tho!, how difficult is it to measure out 30ml, def not the right way to market this product , they’ve tried something different with it and it’s not favourable in my opinion!, but those bottles you mention are excellent 👌

    Great review. Mine arrives today so looking forward to trying. Would you suggest bucket and mitt, spray or foam lance for first application of Touch On?

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks John!, it’s best applied via foam lance in my opinion, try and avoid the windscreen if you can tho, even now I’m still seeing signs of it still there all round the car so prolonged use every month is just gonna look fantastic.

    Hi, how much water would you put in a Lance with the touch on? Would you rub it in with a mit once on the car or just wash off? Thanks

    • @GMDetails
      @GMDetails  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Alex, just use the complete sachet in a litre of water , you don’t need to use it all up in one go so you can store the remaining product until next use , remember to rinse out the lance thoroughly after using Touch On

      Oh sorry I forgot to answer that 😅 IF you’ve already shampoo washed the car just spray a coat over and rinse off, if you need to clean the car then use a mitt but I’d avoid doing it this way as it might dry before you’ve had a chance to rinse

    I know this demonstration is knocking on in years, nonetheless, it has helped me, so a big thank you there. I agree with what you say about sheeting.
    For donkey's years all I have used, has been Meguiar's Ultimate range of products, of which I have been a massive advocate. The final finish and durability has been brilliant. I only came across Bilt Hamber when I was looking to take care of some rust on the underside of my car.
    My next wash will be with Bilt Hamber. There is very little coverage of their Auto-Balm on TH-cam. I have decided to go with it, based on the couple I have seen, I was very taken by the eye appeal it gives and the slickness of the finish. I hope it compares to Meguiar's Ultimate range in terms of eye appeal and durability.
    I was wondering how does Touch-On compare to using Bilt Hamber's Auto-QD as a waterless wash for high gloss. I would be interested in your views and those of your viewers.

      I still have yet to try BH auto QD so I’m only half qualified to answer your question. , but , I don’t believe in waterless washing personally so I’ve never looked into the whole practice of it I’m afraid , sorry 😫
