  • @steverabbits
    @steverabbits 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I think BH brought this new system out more to compliment Auto Foam than to replace it, for one thing they tell you not to use the Touch-Less/Touch On system more than once a month, so if you wash your car more often you really need both types. I see TL/TO as a system more than a pre-wash and wash, the two products work together as a unit, I personally wouldn't use TL on it's own, if I wanted something other then TO on the car after pre-washing giving me more choice then I'd use Auto Foam followed by whatever wash is my choice that day, maybe I'm deconning and want to use Garage Therapy Decon Shampoo for example. I'm coming up for the 2nd use of TL/TO on my dad's car so like you Jon I'm really interested to see if it really does build upon previous uses. I'll let you know on your Patreon channel! $1 a month, less than a British Squid, a total bargain guys! 👍👍😂😂

      @@mikeprice8307 yes that's my personal preference but also I don't like to use Touch-On on my car because it causes terrible ghosting on the windscreen! Jon has tested BH Auto Foam V BH Touch-Less and Touch-Less had slightly better cleaning power but it really is marginal. Personally I think it makes so little difference that most people can't tell the difference and when you combine that with the mistiness Touch-On leaves on your windscreen when you use your wipers I'd go for Auto Foam every time on my personal cars. If you want a quick and glossy impressive result for less work then the Touch-Less/Touch-On system does a good job. As long as they don't complain about the ghosting on the screen of course! 😂

    Touchless changed my life! Autofoam smells like heaven but I find it hard to notice its difference as I only use it as a barrier for the contact wash. I want autofoam to be capable of melting bonded contaminants that aren’t water soluble; i.e. making your clay bar quicker, safer, less sandpapery. Is it possible to have something so caustic to melt bonded contaminant yet not damage plastic trim or etch glass?

  • @GoodLuggageAutomotiveDetailing

      never go off piste. you dont know whats in these products. You dont know the impact of mixing them. this is undeniable simple logic isnt it. To delve deeper, autofoam contains small amount of solvent, touch-less is solvent free, whats the impact of adding solvent to suger based surfactant? unknown? could be bad? random.. never mix chemicals unless you are the guy that formulates them and knows whats in them and if they are compatible. (its not a daft question though mate)

I was introduced to in2detailing via your videos and have found them very good value and they became my first choice for detailing products but I have been forced to go elsewhere in the last year or so due to non availability and of course the more you find a store is out of stock the less you will bother to even visit

    Do you think BH Touchless is made for a user who has a dedicated cermanic already applied, and this product is optimal for not degrading it? Some enthusiests like me wash their car 2 times a week when i have the time and could this preserve my coating even longer.

    • @forensicunplugged4295
      @forensicunplugged4295  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think its just a new material Bilt Hamber discovered and played aorund with and got great results with. It does not work the same way as other surfactants, its not just a degreaser as such. when winter comes I will test more with it but from what I see its really effective. I notice a difference when Im pre washing my alloys as well.

    I think my opinion of touch-on has changed the more I use it. I was not impressed with the product at all to start with but I think it is most effective in a foam lance as a lazy mans way of waxing at the end of a wash. Hydrophobics and shine is insane. Just use it once a month on my car as can't be bothered to wax and saves on microfibre applicators/buffing towels.

      @forensicunplugged4295  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ok so a pre wash cant mark your paint. its a rinseable detergent. Ive gone through 5 litres off the stuff and your comment does not make any sense. if this is a real comment Im wondering if the product went onto steam hot panels at high concentration and dried off. If you over concentrate products you really need a good pressure washer to blast off. one of the best things about BH though its the rinseability of the detergents. lower down that PIR use 1-2% for normal soiling.
