Bilt Hamber are a brand we should be proud of. No frills, advertising, gimmicks or ‘celebrity’ endorsements needed. They always seem to up the game and leave the rest of the pack standing. Well done Bilt Hamber. Keep up the amazing work 👍🏻🙌🏻 You have a lifetime customer in me!
Me too !
#metooBH
My favourites are Auto Wheel (it's just the strongest ferrus remover, and still has good cleaning power), and Auto Foam (cheap but powerful).
Problem is shipping cost😢
You're right but they could do a lot better with their advertising. Like the non caustic/eco side of their products, if it wasn't for Jon I wouldn't know about that and it's a great USP of their products. The fact that they can make products that are more effective than the competition yet still be safe and not harmful, they should be getting this across more.
You mean Bilt Hamber Advertise.... I've never seen an advert, not even a company video on TH-cam....if it wasn't for the likes of folk like Jon showing it I'd never have heard of it
They all works and dont take the piss with prices lol
After watching your reviews i bought snow foam , auto wash , touch on , traceless and the double speed wax . Bilt hamber have replaced meguiars as my favorite brand and its helped my pocket 👍
My entire detailing set-up is now based on Bilt Hamber.
There is nothing else that comes close. Recently tried Traceless, absolute game changer in terms of performance on glass.
I also just bought the 1l spray bottle of trace-less. Haven't tried it yet, but can't wait to see it out preform all my other glass cleaners 😄
Didn't get with Bilt hamber at first but after watching and listening to you john i can't get enough, it delivers every single time so massive thanks mate...
Always bought Bilt Hamber since watching your Channel! Touchless is my favourite… gets about 95% of the dirt from the car… (Autowheel a close second!)
The fact you can dilute these products is 10/10
I always search BH first for anything I need!
Even if prices increase its still worth it as you get a lot out of these products.
Keep up the good work!
One by one my garage is getting "blue and whiter" clay - cleaser fluid & polish - hydra wax - atom mac - geox gel - dynax - ferrosol - hydrate 80 - auto wash & wheel - surfex - touchless & touch on - traceless.... phew. Some were for rust on garage doors but rest for the car. Love the no nonsense, reasonably priced and excellent quality.
BILT HAMBER ALL THE WAY😊
You best keep up with this fantastic content at this amazing rate when you have paid for your Porsche!! I love my car and started watching you when I was doing some research on car detailing - I've been a fan of yours since - you recommended BH and thats what I have! (You are also the only chanel that I bother to watch!
I really hope they don't change! All I need is BH products and CarPro Perl. I wouldn't miss any other products if they all disappeared. It's not just they all work well, they're also easy to use.
Love BH. I have used touch-on twice now, absolutely amazing stuff 👌
Agreed and they don’t ruin my tarmac driveway over time either . Something that’s not always mentioned
BH are the best, whats the chances you can arrange a factory visit Jon, would love to see how they do things😁
Bilt hamber is one of my favorites...... I love it. I love it. I hope one day they'll make a tar remover? My shop full of a lot the Bilt hamber in my space... thanks for all your videos John you inspire me
Got into Bilt Hamber with Auto wheel. Love the stuff. Korrosol too.
I’ve just bought Touchless and Touch on, but I’ve not tried them yet.
I did try Double Speed wax a couple of years back, but I found it difficult to buff off. Tbf, that was probably me at the time (applying too much or the conditions). I just prefer AG UHD wax. Nothing I’ve tried has compared to that for use and longevity 🤷🏻♂️
I’d like to try the BH cleanser fluid prior to polishing/waxing. Oh and their quick detailer.
I think you’re spot on with your comments about the brand. I love that they are ‘chemical geeks’ and keep things all about the product and not the marketing.
Cheers,
Gary B
They are home grown which may add a bit of bias to it, but, what I love about BH is that they are no frills, cheap per wash, the products that I have used do what it says on the tin or bottle plus they are environmentally friendly which is always a winner these days.
I have just moved to BH after years with Meguiar's Ultimate range. Though I will miss their perfumed products which do linger for a few days after use. It would be nice if BH did add a bit of perfume to their products for added pleasantness.
I'm going to be using the Auto-Balm when I get round to cleaning the car probably next week, I know Auto-Balm has very little coverage, as the main car cleaners and valeters and detailers often shout about double speed wax and don't seem to be interested in the Auto-Balm - I hope it’s not a dud - fingers crossed I won’t be disappointed. But the couple of presenters that have covered it, did impress me with the ease of application and with the slickness, I did like what I saw. IF I get 3 months out of it, like I do with Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax, then I’ll be happy. We’ll just have to see how the Auto Wash goes to work on it during maintenance washes.
I love Hydrate 80, Surfex is just fantastic not just on the car, but around the house as well, and Ferrosol just knocks WD-40 out of the park.
Auto foam in the summer , touchless in winter just to mix it up . Traceless is a must .
My favourite, if I have to pick one, is Surfex HD. Being an APC, you can clean almost everything with it. Haven't brushed my teeth with Surfex yet but it usually comes to rescue when other products fail - in the household and with cars.
A very big thank you from Finland to you Jon for introducing me to Bilt Hamber years ago.
I was given a 1 litre spray bottle with about 500ml of this in it by the guy who was valeting my car for me and used it to clean my absolutely grotty gas & electricity boxes on the outside wall of my house and one clean and hose down transformed them ... Not sure of the mixture ratio but he used it to clean the wheels and the bottom of the car doors and the lower areas of the front and rear bumpers before snowfoaming them
After removing the front wheel arch liners and thorough cleaning (again), I've recently been spraying Bilt Hamber Laboratories's Dynax UC all over the inside surfaces of the front wings on my VW Polo. Volkswagen front wings are known to crumble on their front wheel arches (none on mine still) and this is one good way to prevent this hideous corrosion from occurring.
That’s exactly what I was thinking about in regards to needing a really durable spray sealant that can be applied to paint, windows and alloys and is super easy to use..
The Best BH products for me are the touch-less and the trace-less, I have the double speed wax but I have not used it yet, I need to get some auto foam next and save the touch-less for the winter/autumn months. Thanks again John for the channel it's the best one out there for me, your up there with Jim at White Details keep the videos coming 😀 👍
Pretty much all the products I use to clean my car are Bilt Hamber and have been for about 9 years. Everything is just no frills, great working and decent value!
Great video, respect. Touchless is my go to product.
Thanks to you. I’m addicted to them to and you’re right they are great value for the money..
Didnt use BH until I watched your videos. Only used the new touchless snow foam which absolutely blew me away in terms of performance. Once my current Infinity Wax items run out they will be replaced with BH ones. Thanks John for the excellent videos as always.
I agree with you on the universal dressing, that would be a hit I am certain
Some of the best gear around! Proper pricing and very cost effective with dilution ratios💯
Bilt Hamber Touch-Less, Surfex-HD, Auto-Wheel, Auto-Wash and Touch-On are all equally amazing and my most used car cleaning products. If i had to pick the best one it would have to be Touch-Less.
Excellent brand. I wish they offered an EU website for buying their products directly.
I agree, eshops in my country are overpricing them on purpose, I mean there is the import charges point too but they are mostly cashing on the fact that people know these product just work
Hi Jon,
Long term fan of your channel and Bilt Hamber.
I wish they would release a tyre dressing in the future, I struggle to find a good matte dressing product.
Best wishes
Saw a review for Traceless in Auto Express and tried it. Very impressive when all other stuff is used up i will be using Bilt Hamber
Jon...you got me hooked on Bilt-Hamber about 3 yrs ago and I thank you! I'm in the States and I DO believe in pre-washing and Touchless and Auto-foam are THEE best (although I'm liking Pure:est alkaline snow foam ALOT!) I've been through 2 or 3 bottles of Korrosol and it's awesome, 2nd bottle of their QD, concentrated and a MEGA value and Surfex has dethroned Optimum APC...they just kill it❗️
I'd love to challenge Bilt-Hamber to make a rinseless wash but it's such a tough market right now....PLEASE REVIEW GYEON ECO WASH, it's my new favorite, even after 2 RW's❗️❗️
Bilt Hamber and Carpro products and I'm happy. I might use soft99 the odd time for a shine.
Started with Koch and now added BH - both have products that can be diluted down and still produce top results at great prices. BH = Touchless and QD, KC = Green Star, Pol Star, FSE & Top Star.
As I am gonna be moving soon, I will need to downsize all my equipment. I am seriously considering going BH exclusively.
I just like the brand, the minimalism, the expertise.
High great video as usual so if you bought all the products in there range you can’t go far wrong
No faff and does what it says on the tin, plus much more! Cant go wrong really. Loving the new touchless. Might try the atom-mac for under the car soon. Get that winter muck off!
As my other products run out I am replacing with Bilt Hamber, simply because they do exactly what they claim. No ambiguity, they just work, and work very well.
Jon got me addicted!!!! A good thing. Double Speed great. I use anything similar upto £16 for 200g, any dearer default Double Speed
Autofoam and Touchless both clean very well. Autofoam however causes my wipers and rubber seals to squeak, I usually spray through a pump sprayer at 2-3%. I won't but autofoam once my 5L is done as Touchless cleans just as well. Haven't tried their glass cleaner as have litres of Nilco to get through, bought a lot in Costco as it is cheap and very good.
Touch on sachets for me! I find it so hydrophobic it's unreal, especially after using touch on snow foam, class 👌
Bilt Hamber Laboratories's Auto QD at 1:9 is a fantastic protection product/gloss enhancer for any valeter who has tight deadlines.
Labocosmetica is fantastic
I always use Bilt-Hamber for rust protection and rust killer. Best gear I’ve used
Just used BH dynax UB to protect the back fuel cap area on my car after putting rust converter there to protect it from the common rust and bubbling that comes through the paint. Great stuff
I've recently coated my brand new car with SC50 in areas you can't see- behind wheel arch liners, suframes and chassis. UC on literally everything else underneath. It's survived perfectly and absolutely no rust on anything I've covered. I've used so much off their product line it's just great stuff.
Built hamper is my staple for cleaning but would love them to bring out a dedicated tar remover
Cleanser Polish, Auto Wash, Hydra Wax and Auto QD are my favourite valeting products from the geniuses at Bilt Hamber Laboratories. Cleanser Polish works best with a dual action rotary polisher, and Auto QD at 1:9 works best as a clay lube and a waterless wash product with some protection built in.
I use a lot of there stuff korrosol n love the old auto balm 👍
Love BH, but part of the fun is testing different products
The only problem with testing is you end up with shelves full of part used products as you buy in the next new thing to try it out and get disappointed as it's no better, or even worse, than your go-to product..... I know I have and I'm only a weekend warrior
@@petersmith7126 same, but I think it gets boring if I have to use the same products every wash.
@@tafl-9198 true but it gets bloody expensive lol
@@petersmith7126 it sure does. But so does all hobbies. If you like fishing, hunting, whatever it always runs up 😊
The trigger gun on my alloy wheel cleaner only worked the first time I used it. Great product though
With Touchless have you seen a video where they put 12mil in a 1 litre spray bottle and sprayed it on with a hand sprayer. The results were amazing and better than snow foaming it.
it works and its a decent price 💪
Love Bilt Hamber. I always come back to their products after testing other companies out there.
I’m just waiting for RINSE-LESS lol if they ever decide to make one! 😊
Great glass cleaner the best out there ,makes it so easy and saves alot of time
Surfex HD is my fav i would say
Is Bilt Hamber double speed wax better than Fusso to put onto a new car cheers keep up the fantastic work
Love Bilt Hamber! Amazing products with consideration for the environment. Top. My favourite is probably touch-less.
Are you going to do a review of the Halfords Advanced range of 'detailing' products?
Auto foam is in my artillery forever, since you brought it to my attention
Just great products they keep it simple, the stuff works and it’s not a ridiculous price and no advertising fluff. ( looking at you those two big American brands)
My favourite brand. Just wish they'd update their wax to compete with the durability and overall quality of Fusso coat.
Thank you for your funny review of Bilt Hamber products, then I purchased Touch-less , Touchon and Surfex-HD.
Would like to ask which product could clean the artificial grass, decking and conservatory glass top ?
I went from BH to GT and quite enjoyed their products but am slowly going back to BH, hard to beat really even in this minefield of products.
I have been a Bilt Hamber fan from day one because they make fantastic quality no nonsense products 👌
Easy… well sort of… Touchless and Traceless. I cannot decide which I like more…. They both (out) perform without the bling and at a great value point without fuss.
Use their anti corrosion spray waxes a lot as well.
Now love the brand and products over the others by a wide margin.
Surfex HD is such a versatile tool to clean your car. That is the 1 product that I have stuck with for years.Wonder if they do a 25 litre
The only thing I found with touchless snow foam at 2% PIR it is quite runny and doesn't clean very well. I use Bilt Hamber that you got me onto with some other products like gyeon etc.
He's referring to the new formula, which is more concentrated. 2% now equals 4% of the previous one.
I use bilt hamber to clean my car from auto foam - touchless and next week will be using the rust line, dynax UB and SB50, used them before…. Great products and no one comes close.
Love the atom mac
They're the best and the most value. There's no reason to use anything else. The first time I used the new Touchless formula I was blown away, same with Traceless.
Wish we could get this for a reasonable price in Ireland
1st -Bilt Hamber VFM
It works well
By only BH criticism was V1 Traceless absolutely stunk. Looking forward to trying V2 which apparently rectifies this
it made my car smell like bubblegum until the next day, i enjoy it
A set of bilt hamber polishes and an aio.
Love bilt hamber amazing cleaning power and value for money if you ask me
If I want something to simply work and do a good job, then my goto is BH. Is I'm feeling like I've got a bit of time on my hands, I'll try different stuff, but my goto is usually BH.
As for a brand that has a whole range of decent stuff, for me it's Koch Chemie.
Building off their stellar surfactant and corrosion protection technology, I wish Bilt Hamber would develop a rinseless wash product, along with a salt-neutralizing pretreatment that could be used before the rinseless.
They have rinseless
@ForensicDetailing I bet it's insanely good.... I hope for a tar remover...
@@ForensicDetailingyou mean Auto-QD? That's waterless, not rinseless. I'm looking for something along the lines of ONR (256:1 dilution) and no durable protection.
I use BH week in week out, the only other manufacture I use is Soft99 for a polish. I’m happy and my cars look top notch, that’s it.
what about touch-on i have some but would like to see what you think
"...thats the kinda guy I am" great self analysis
Have you reviewed the Nano Pail line from 3D yet? Looks really good, so long as the products are well designed.
No m8. It doesn't bring anything to the table for UK market for example. 2 litre ultra concentrate APC. Mix upto 1 to 45. 60 dollars. Well you buy 5 litres of surfex mix upto 1 to 100 for 17 quid. A lot of these brands just don't formulate to out value the competition. So none will buy here. I'll dig more and I like this brand
Shampoo 2 litre 60 dollar. It's around a 1 to 1000. We get 5 litres of 1 to 2000 in UK for 20 to 30 pounds. So yer nothing in it for us really
I'm planning on testning Bilt Hamber touch-less
I have no problem calculating PIR with my lance.
But it would be helpful if there is a recommendation on roughly amount to use?
Do you use 100ml product for a normal car?
If I use a mix that gives me 2% PIR it's a big different if i go over the same panel on car twice with the lance or if I go really slow i can use double amount product than it needs to be used.
Quick question John. Why BH QD as a drying aid at 1:9 ratio, when the bottle suggests for 1:20? Have you tested this and resulted for 1:9 is better for drying aid? Still useable as a drying aid at 1:20 ratio?
Yes it's just a one ratio does all type thing for me. I use in interior as as as at 1 to 9 as well as drying aids
Never looked back, i use Surfex, autofoam and their clay, korosol i dont use, Koch chemie felgenblitz is my choice there
I got into bilt hamber because of you Jon. Only complaint is the stinky wheel and korrosol. Im open to any fragrances recommened lol
I’ve used Bilt Hamber for years, great products that work. Trying to convince a mate who uses EZ stuff🤣🤣
Huge fan on BH, I would like to see
A more foamy shampoo, auto wash is great just not a lot of soap suds
A fabric cleaner
A tyre dressing
A built specific interior cleaner
I would also like for them to look into detailing tools, such as microfibre clothes for example, the ones they provide are okay but not the greatest, they aren’t edgeless for example
Woah we could get it in the US
I'd like to see Bilt Hamber produce a ceramic coating.
Please do a review on finis wax i heard so many good things about it and its also in my basket lol
we did many years ago in the BH brand review mate. its less beading that double speed. Its a bit smoother to buff. but its twice the price. so I tend to go with double speed.
@ForensicDetailing thank you I'll be doing that too lol
Do you know if their touch-less wash will strip spray sealants with Si02?
*Activates Vader Jedi Choke*
How do you use their QD as a drying aid? Also do they do a PH neutral shampoo for weekly washing so that is doesn’t destroy my sealants (no ceramic coating)
Dilute the QD it around 1:9 to 1:20. Its in the instructions.
And yes, they have Auto-Wash which is a neutral shampoo.
i have mostly carpro stuff, what does this say about me as a at home diy detailer? Am i missing out
Advice please.! - is the Autofoam safe to use on ceramic coated cars.? I know it has a a high alkaline content. Thanks 👍
*raise hand and initiates Vader Jedi Choke*
I love how bilt hamber are just a no nonsense brand that make products that work. They don’t really do much advertising as their products speak for themselves
can i apply autoglym resin polish first before bilt hamber double wax?
yes m8
My 2nd order this month is coming today 😂
Jon Im struggling to find a good interior detailer any recommendations top 3?
Gyeon interior detailer
CarPro Inner QD
ADS Pilot
Hey John is it safe to use Touch-less weekly on a ceramic coated car? Makes it much easier whenever it gets any type of dirt on it over the week to pre treat with touch-less first
*grabs neck in Darth Vader Jedi choke move and squeezes*
@@ForensicDetailing ?
Yes, that's it's purpose.
You use it as a prewash to remove 90% of the dirt before any contact with the paintwork, to reduce damage caused by dragging it across.
@@ryanwilliams6526 thanks for the reply. That’s what I figured and that’s how I’ve been using it (more like every ten days and only twice now since I’ve purchased it) but I didn’t know if it was too strong like using carpro lift which should only be used monthly to every 3 months or when the car is super dirty
@@ForensicDetailing hey John I don’t know if you’re having a bad day or what but your a goof for that reply have some respect
John have you every heard or tried a brand from uk called yumcars. Very interested to see this in comparisons to other you test with i.e. bilt hamber Currently looking to use bilt hamber going from your videos. But not many people have done battles on you tube with yumcars products. New to detailing so far trying out few different brands to see what I feel is best value for money and quality over all
not all brands appreciated or want their products compared. Especially to Bilt hamber.
@@ForensicDetailing might have to grab some bilt hamber and do my own wee comparison 🫣
