We'll have to see if Rayman 3 gets remastered. For Rayman 4, I'd personally go with reusing the transformations from 3, they did it for his Sparks of Hope DLC so they're aware it's now part of the Rayman identity. I like your idea of wanting to have each game having its own identity and gimmicks, but at the same time the transformations are really cool and it'd be a miss if it was dropped. Maybe add a few couple more transformations just for giggles or expand upon the ones that are already in the games (imagine if the grappling hook had a homing ability at higher levels that could turn it into a land shark, or the tornado punch could also add some electricity around it at higher levels and you'd have to use it for puzzles). And sure, maybe add a few more features than just being Rayman 3 on steroids. Hear me out: Rayman Movie and TV Series worked on by Dreamworks Animation with Billy West and David Gasman being in the voice cast as mystery characters
If they add enough quality of life improvements to Rayman 1 without screwing things up, it would become the definitive way to play the game. For now at least, we still have the fan game Rayman Redempttion as the best version of said game.
I have 0 confidence in Ubisoft managing to bring back Rayman in a way that even BEGINS to chip away at the horrible reputation they have garnered over the years. And I truly hope nobody suddenly forgets about everything they have done up to this point just because they make a new Rayman game, please for the love of god dont let that happen.
I absolutely loved Rayman as a kid, and had an obsession with the 3rd one when I was 10. Replaying the game again as an adult I realized 1 thing, that the plot needs to be cleaned up and cutsceens need to be redone. For example, in the scene where you meet the first Teensies in the desert of the Kaanaren, the voice acting doesn't quite match who's talking at the right time. Also why do certain characters in the game like the witch and Razoff exist but never appear in the series again or mentioned anywhere else in the game. Actually a lot of characters in the 3rd game are never seen again, I really liked the teensie doctors, those guys made me laugh so hard as a kid. Also "See you in Rayman 4" 😢
I will wait, but I expect nothing is going to happen. We all know what Ubisoft is like in today's world and we cannot expect anything good from them, so until I actually see something good happens to Rayman I won't gonna celebrate yet.
Something I'd love to see with Rayman 2 remake/remaster, more likely the remake, would be some more difficulty. Probably through a bit of tweaking to the pirates positioning, behaviour and weaponry! I love the concept for them as these tireless monsters out to plunder but them being absolute pushovers with easy to dodge attacks and little to no maneuvering is really unfortunate! It doesn't have to be the default, having a difficulty selection would be a good idea I feel like, with the Pirate AI being more aggressive or having better weapons that either fire faster or travel faster, while rayman takes more damage. Just for the love of god avoid tweaking their health, noone likes damage sponges lol. Edit: by more difficulty I mean only the combat segments, the platforming is honestly fine and I doubt it needs to be more or less difficult. Never when replaying have I really found any platforming too difficult or mindnumbingly easy, but that might be rose-tinted nostalgia glasses hiding it from me. Meanwhile the combat boils down to: spam attack, move slightly left or right when being shot at, and if you are daring go for a few jumps and/or charge attacks. Although, the combat in Rayman 2 Revolution was quite nice, less spam and more nuance to the combat encounters (although not much)
Honestly if I was in control of the Rayman series I would also release Rayman Adventure and Rayman Mini on console with Rayman Adventure being able to function without micro transactions I would also create a Rayman M/Arena remake. With all the content from the PS2 version, XBOX/GameCube version (yes Rayman Arena on PS2 is noticably different than the Xbox or GameCube versions) and Rayman Rush. I'd also add new content, new skins for characters, characters from the rest of the Rayman series (Mr. Dark, Ly, Count Razoff, etc) Also I'd try to get a new animated series/movie off the ground that's actually accurate to the games
If Rayman is getting a supposed remake. Please please PLEASE keep it to the actual Rayman and have nothing that is tied to Origins/Legends Rayman. I want Rayman with substance again.
I always thought Rayman 2 is the most recognizable with the most amount of Rayman ports. I love Rayman 2 more than 3 while 3 isn't terrible it's extremely too short for me,also trying to unlock all the secrets in Rayman 3 to me is a bit tedious than unlock everything in Rayman 2 the Great Escape. Lastly Rayman 3 is easily available if you have a PC and a Xbox one or even a Xbox series X, so unless they add something major to the remaster then it's a bit pointless to me I'm surprised Rayman 2 the Great Escape isn't available on modern consoles.
Last year I was at a Halloween party, basically at a total stranger's house and only my gf knew anyone there. I was scrolling through tv and saw Captain Lazerhawk with Rayman as the thumbnail. I was high, and blurted out "Yo, Rayman's on TV?" and was totally surprised when most of the people there stopped what they were doing to check it out, and that they even knew what Rayman was. I know for certain Rayman would do great today, and maybe even bring Ubisoft out of the hole they're in.
That’s amazing hahah! I started talking about Rayman at some after-work drinks last night and I noticed a few heads turn too. He’s more popular than Ubisoft realise
Considering Ubisoft's track record with messing games up, yeeeeaaahhh i doubt that they wouldn't quote unquote "Ruin it" (They'll obviously ruin it, won't they?)
Why would they release a Rayman 2 port just to remake it afterwards tho? Like, as a company, why would you make people buy the original right before remaking it?
I think the entire trilogy deserves a remake collection. Not only have those games not aged as gracefully as later parts of the series but I honestly think Rayman 1 has aged especially poorly. That game was too hard, required a memory card just to save progress and it had limited continues. That game shouldn’t be stuck on such old hardware that hindered the game significantly. It needs serious quality of life improvements. Same with the other two games.
Re-releasing a game right before it's Remake doesn't really make much sense, Including the OG Version with the purchase of Remake just makes most sense And PS1 Version of Rayman should prob never get re-released at all, any other later released Port like PC, Mobile or even GBA gives you a chance to actually beat the Game unlike the hardest PS1 OG Release + a new Port of Rayman 1 should also have some changes, like maybe lives being optional or just easier as a System, and definitely you should be able to go to the Final World without needing to get every single Cage in the Game
I think they should give us more Rayman 2 in Rayman 4... And they should hire the Rayman 2 HD Developer Community. From what I've heard and seen Rayman 3 doesn't have the same magical vibe that Rayman 2 has... Also the combat system in Rayman 3 seems a bit too much. Never actually played Rayman 3 but I loved Rayman 2 on my Nintendo 64 and I think there is a lot of things to take note of with Rayman 2.
Given Ubisoft's awful and well deserved situation. Best case for everyone would be to cut their losses and sell the IP to a studio willing to actually use it. We've seen remakes but Ubi only goes the Bethesda way of rereleasing the same game over and over with no changes.
@@hiersprichtdienina yeah I think it could be possible. I can see a Nintendo Direct showing it when they do a showcase all about the last few months of The Switch
the BG&E remaster is horrendous they completely ruined the art direction so i hope they will do better with Rayman 3, the bonus section for BG&E Remaster was really cool tho
Interesting. I disagree, I thought it was a really faithful remaster. Sure the lighting was a little different, but for me it retained the art direction nicely. But yeah the bonus section was cool
I’d be excited; Rayman Raving Rabbids is a great game but it has its problems that a remaster could solve (such as making it actually possible to 100%…)
I want to be the optimisitc but let face it the Current Ubisoft are going to butcher it with DEI BS.. @@corkben The remastered Trilogy had alot of great aspects that I enjoyed when playing the game. for one, I personally couldn't stand how Toys for Bob made the characters look very much errr 'different', this goes for the enemies as well.
Ubisoft finally doing something good
I absolutely loved Rayman as a kid, and had an obsession with the 3rd one when I was 10.
We all know what Ubisoft is like in today's world and we cannot expect anything good from them, so until I actually see something good happens to Rayman I won't gonna celebrate yet.
please ubsioft, listen to this man
Something I'd love to see with Rayman 2 remake/remaster, more likely the remake, would be some more difficulty.
Although, the combat in Rayman 2 Revolution was quite nice, less spam and more nuance to the combat encounters (although not much)
We've all missed the most *obvious* answer... Rayman Raving Rabbits 4 confirmed boys, let's fucking go!!!!!!
Michel Ancel also confirmed that Rayman is coming back on his Instagram
What i think they are doing 1:01
What i think they should be doing 4:12
What i want them to do 12:04
Yeah, fair play. I’ll drop them in the description actually
Honestly if I was in control of the Rayman series I would also release Rayman Adventure and Rayman Mini on console with Rayman Adventure being able to function without micro transactions
I would also create a Rayman M/Arena remake. With all the content from the PS2 version, XBOX/GameCube version (yes Rayman Arena on PS2 is noticably different than the Xbox or GameCube versions) and Rayman Rush. I'd also add new content, new skins for characters, characters from the rest of the Rayman series (Mr. Dark, Ly, Count Razoff, etc)
Also I'd try to get a new animated series/movie off the ground that's actually accurate to the games
It took them....how many financial blunders?
Way too many 😅
Last year I was at a Halloween party, basically at a total stranger's house and only my gf knew anyone there.
@@corkbenHe always been, but for some reason they kept pushing on Assassin's Greed and Fart Cry games at nausea
What do you think about honoring in some way the
Rayman 1 educational games? Rayman teaches Polish and math was my first pc game
Oh wow that’s a deep cut. I’ve got them on PS1. I’ll definitely do a deep dive into them one day. Would be cool if Ubisoft ported them
I still have some concerns about this Especially if you look at ubisoft in recent years...
Bro, I think that they need to make open world game like sonic frontiers and genshin impact.
Give let him have his main games again 😅 use the anime he’s in as a reason to do more Rayman games ❤️
murphy was just two steps ahead all along
As long as it's not 2D!
Have Rayman M/Arena as well with Rayman 2 cos it's all the same characters
Considering Ubisoft's track record with messing games up, yeeeeaaahhh i doubt that they wouldn't quote unquote "Ruin it"
(They'll obviously ruin it, won't they?)
They should make Rayman 4.
Why would they release a Rayman 2 port just to remake it afterwards tho?
Like, as a company, why would you make people buy the original right before remaking it?
They should make a rayman movie
YES PLEASE BRING BACK ORIGINS PLZZZ
boy a Rayman 2 2D Remake would be better using ubiart
They should hire fan games devs
I think the entire trilogy deserves a remake collection.
Not only have those games not aged as gracefully as later parts of the series but I honestly think Rayman 1 has aged especially poorly.
That game was too hard, required a memory card just to save progress and it had limited continues.
That game shouldn’t be stuck on such old hardware that hindered the game significantly.
It needs serious quality of life improvements. Same with the other two games.
I think they should make completely different game and just slap the Rayman logo on it.
I want a rayman1 remake
Re-releasing a game right before it's Remake doesn't really make much sense, Including the OG Version with the purchase of Remake just makes most sense
And PS1 Version of Rayman should prob never get re-released at all, any other later released Port like PC, Mobile or even GBA gives you a chance to actually beat the Game unlike the hardest PS1 OG Release
+ a new Port of Rayman 1 should also have some changes, like maybe lives being optional or just easier as a System, and definitely you should be able to go to the Final World without needing to get every single Cage in the Game
Rayman 3 does have the same beautiful atmosphere as Rayman 2 and Arena, even tho the story is less serious. You definitely should try it out
Given Ubisoft's awful and well deserved situation.
Best case for everyone would be to cut their losses and sell the IP to a studio willing to actually use it.
We've seen remakes but Ubi only goes the Bethesda way of rereleasing the same game over and over with no changes.
Peak content
Game awards?
@@hiersprichtdienina yeah I think it could be possible. I can see a Nintendo Direct showing it when they do a showcase all about the last few months of The Switch
make it like rayman 3!!
Rayman 3, then 2, then 4? Well, at least their stories are pretty self contained.
Yeah, I mean at this point when you’re re-releasing 20+ year old games the continuity doesn’t really matter
Why remake i wish and hope to see a remastered of rayman 123 for ps5 pro love rayman ✌️😃💟
i would make a globox game
globox moment
i would prefer the ps2 version of rayman 2, just throw in all the mini games and stuff from the dreamcast versoin
Rayman 2 tho :cc
the BG&E remaster is horrendous they completely ruined the art direction so i hope they will do better with Rayman 3, the bonus section for BG&E Remaster was really cool tho
Interesting. I disagree, I thought it was a really faithful remaster. Sure the lighting was a little different, but for me it retained the art direction nicely. But yeah the bonus section was cool
SEQUEL TO LEGENDS YEAHHHHHHHH
Sequel sequellllllllllllllll
Imagine if this remake will be Raving Rabbids 💀
I’d cry
@corkben Me too bro. But at this moment, hype is real.
I’d be excited; Rayman Raving Rabbids is a great game but it has its problems that a remaster could solve (such as making it actually possible to 100%…)
I want to be the optimisitc but let face it the Current Ubisoft are going to butcher it with DEI BS.. I mean look at what going on with Ubisoft right now, their are been hated in Japan due AC Shadow, Outlaw was a failure, their investor are leaving and their are getting a lawsuit in California due the Crew shutdown
cool video
Thanks!
I don’t want a rayman 3 remake:,)
If it's a remake of Rayman 3, don't buy it, Just play the Original Game through Emulation. Trust me, I'm a Spyro Fan.
@@WilliamBro-f1o do you not think the Re-ignited trilogy is good?
@@corkben The remastered Trilogy had alot of great aspects that I enjoyed when playing the game. for one, I personally couldn't stand how Toys for Bob made the characters look very much errr 'different', this goes for the enemies as well. The new voice actors are also very annoying (a good example is Sheila the Kangeroo in spyro 3). Great graphics, no denying that, but it had no soul, which is what killed the game for me.
Nonsense…
They aren’t remaking 3 at all
@@undetected2088 no. They’re remastering it. They’re remaking Rayman 2
You are giving Ubisoft way too much credit
Well they will ruin it, don't get your hopes up.
@title go bankrupt. Ubisoft does not deserve to exist.
