- Explore the traditions, history and cuisine of Kerala. Located in the south of India, Kerala is named as one of the 10 paradises of the world. The states beauty isn't the only reason to visit, Kerala has a rich history and they really keep the traditions alive. Follow me along my five week motorbike journey as I dive into their culture.

@@thejourneycreatives Love for football in Kerala!!.⚽💗
'I am a Keralite ' I felt soo proud to watch this documentary, nice work. Proud to be a malayali ❤❤
Thank you, which part are you from?
This is incredible. The presentation 👌 I got teary in the end. As someone who lives away from my homeland Kerala, I feel more attached to it as time moves on. Thank you for this reminder of how rich, vast and beautiful my state is. As Malayalis we're truly blessed to have been born here, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Kerala has something that you can not find in other states of India, that is, people live in secular harmony here 🕉️☪️✝️ 😊❤
#Kerala is not just a place, It's an emotion
Your dedication is clearly evident in this beautiful documentary about Kerala's society, culture, and history🥰❤
Thank you so much, your kindness made the video what it is
Sick documentary Danny, very informative and interesting traditions and beliefs:) Was a joy to watch! Kerala looks like a quality place, I would love to go! Gotta get me some of that ayerveda!
Thank you mate, appreciate it
Snake boat is not something keralites named. It was the name given by the tourists. We just calls it 'Chundan Vallam', loosely translates to boat with long beak
Didn’t know that, appreciate the comment ❤️
Beautiful country and culture of Kerlela, India. I would love to visit one day.
You definitely should, it’s amazing ❤
Thank you bro..🙏
Absolutely fantastic presentation.
My land, my people, my food
Missing all
You can’t finish without a tear in your eyes, Kerala is a feeling ❤
Kerala is One state in India which not like other states in India 💯💯👏
Epic 👌This reminds me of the good old golden times of documentaries ; the kind we had from British Pathe. This surely deserves more views mate ! Its going to be a classic some day.
Thanks mate, appreciate that, you’re too kind
Danny! You have captured all the frames so beautifully encompassing human emotions along with nature. Glad I met you on this part of your travel. Good going mate. Cheers!
Thank you so much,, it was a pleasure to meet you
Shiva is "ultimate consciousness", in Hinduism he is a deity even worshiped in human form by demons(asuras), and gods(devas). Btw am catholic from kerala.
Shiva is the deity for "Destruction of Non-Dharma".
Shiva is also the first teacher of Dharma and Hinduism.
Ultimate Consciousness is Turiya. Turiya is a subset of Atman. Atman is an aspect of Brahman.
Asuras are not Demons. Asuras and Devas are cousins.
Demons are european mythical characters, not Asuras.
Namaskaaram❤

Great effort to document the culture, lifestyle and tradition of an Indian State. You did a great job. Nice work✨🙏.. During your next visit try to cover "Thrissur puram". One of biggest festivals with lots of elephants, in the cultural capital of Kerala "Thrissur ". That too will be a great experience. Thank you.
Yes I heard a lot about Thrissur Puram, unfortunately it was before I arrived. I would love to see it though. Thank you for your kind words

It’s an honour to remind you of your home ❤
Top notch doc, enjoyed that
Great video, my friend!
Wow,Just Wow.
Thank you
thank u brother...welcome
i want the govt promote home tourism were tourists from other countries can live with us and understand our lifetsyle ,our home food ,culture tradition, beliefs etc in much more depth...evry house in kerala could be a great tourist attraction for the foreigners...the struggles of an indian mother the way she take care of the family...the way she cooks...the way she manages family and work at the same time...the tensions of an indian father who have to earn more and more to ensure a safe future for their children...the thoughts and views of the growing children...it would be a great initiative with a huge potential...and i like that guy who explained abt hinduism he just summarised entire bhagvat geeta in few min
Would be a cool way to experience a place, appreciate the message

@@thejourneycreatives You can visit Munnar. It is a high range famous for tea plantations. Another Festival is Thrissur Pooram held at Thrissur Vadakkumnadha Temple annually during March-April.
Did you try the houseboats in Alappey? You can also go into deeper waterways and canals on small boats, go to remote villages and experience the lives of people there..
@@thejourneycreativesmunnar (hillstation), varkala( cliff by the beach), and calicut( FOOOOD)
Beautiful times Danny, its come out class mate ❤

Thank you Brother
for your awesome documentary 😊🔥
My pleasure, there will be more
Very well rounded documentary about Kerala I’ve ever watched. As important as Kathakali, there’s another folklore art form in northern part of Kerala called Theyyam. It is performed in temples of district of Kannur during the time of December to April. It is another fascinating form of art you might probably be interested in. Hope you include this in your itinerary next time you’re back in Kerala. Thanks.
I definitely will mate, I appreciate the message. Thank you so much ❤

Kerala have a great culture and tradition, Keralites are still celebrating and transforms to next generation their history make it as a pride. But currently Kerala facing such social anomalies... Like such radical ideas to split kerala's peace and harmony. Hopefully kerala will heal it soon... മലയാളി man...
I hope so, we are better together ❤
Appreciate 🙌 The best documentry , but you missed a lot of things. I think you should take the part 2 . ❤ from Kerala
I would have to visit for three years to to learn everything 😂, glad you enjoyed it ❤️
What else should I see?
Brilliant work. Content, Narration, background score everything is fantastic. Great work.

how long did you take to shoot this entire content. It looks linke it took months to collect the entire footage
I had 5 weeks in Kerala and shot for one month in total. Not enough time to film everything this amazing place has to offer
@@thejourneycreatives ya i know the video is beautiful and i love the content

The term 'Kerala' is not merely a reference to a region abundant in coconut trees; it signifies a rich historical and political heritage. This region was once governed by the Chera dynasty. The term 'Chera Alam,' where 'Alam' signifies territory, evolved into 'Cheralam' or 'Keralam,' in later periods.
