India is obsessed with Cricket but if there's one place in India that loves football as it's in their flow of blood, It's Kerala. I once saw a few women from Kerala playing football and I still to date can't explain the adrenaline rush and the enthusiasm I felt in the instance! Finally, I am able to see Kerala's love for football recognized Internationally in recent days!

Kerala always stood by the game of football even when the rest of the nation followed the glory brought by cricket. Nothing against cricket; however, I think football in India got overshadowed by the hype and sheer glamour of cricket. In a way, it still continues...
