Where are you from
go to hill stations as well , like coorg and ooty
Thank You!!!

Kerala is so incredibly underrated. Most foreign tourist visitors go to the Golden Triangle and Taj Mahal and get appalled by the poverty and dirty conditions over there but places like Kerala are a far cry from the Golden Triangle.
Kerala is green, clean, gorgeous , educated and friendly. It's also genuinely cosmopolitan.
stop degrading north to make your city better , those golden triangle city aren't managed properly because of huge foot fall from all those countries and even indian states , they're dirty i acknowledge but they are not poor. poverty is there in kerela too
also is free from a certain political party . you know what i mean
Well that certain party made india the world leader it is today
Dude don't spread violence @@sanad8112

New York times published "52 place visit 2023". Kerala 13th place.
New York Times called K K Shailaja Kerala's saviour during CoVID. And we know how that went with fake CoVID death figures with over 1 lakh deaths in reality as the government themselves accepted in the legislative assembly a year later.. then the medical supplies corporation scam and resulting warehouse fires in 2 godowns, sprinklr deal scam, PPE kit procurement scam, the lack of essential medicines in government hospitals, lack of surgical equipment in hospitals.. and so much more..
Don't get me wrong, Kerala is a great place for tourism but please don't quote New York Times' pathetic reporters to substantiate it.
I don't believe New York Times Kerla should not he in top 100😂😂😂

Kerala also has the best movie industry in India by a country mile.

Brett being surprised that places like Kerala exist in India and not just cities like Mumbai and Delhi is like me going to US and being surprised that Grand Canyon exists and not just New York and LA.
Agree
Honestly fair point. It’s a bummer the western world only gets shown Delhi and Mumbai. Was excited to make this video and show Americans more to India
@@brettconti Makes sense. I do expect an average Joe to not know much more than what is being shown to them on media but since travel is a part of your profession I had different expectations from you. Appreciate the honesty though. Thanks for promoting India in a different light. Cheers!🙂

Talking of tea without Assam....😏
The whole Northeast India is a paradise in itself, especially during monsoon. Just look up for these places:
Mawsynram, Shillong, Wari Chora, Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Kaziranga, Haflong, Umrangso, Khonoma, Dzükou Valley. More are there, but I can't fit them all here. These places remain unexplored by the Westerns, so be the lucky one to do so. Seven Sisters await.......

But Unfortunately American, Australian and European Media and Foreigner You Tube Vloggers very seldom showcase positive and real beauty of India. Lack of awareness about India and propaganda negative videos about India should be real eye openers for foreign travelers.
Kashmir is like the Switzerland of India with Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Doodpathri Valley. It snowed there 2 weeks ago.
The problem with foreigners like you is that you have an oriental perception of India so either your kind is only interested in Forts and palaces in India and you end up overdoing Rajasthan or you people only want to see slums, stay in cheap hotels and hustle in street markets in India because you have a negative oriental perception of India.
Foreign intellectuals get their knowledge of India by reading books like History of India by James Mill, Caste by Isabelle Wilkerson and Mother India by Katherine Mayo. They don't know that India has the world's largest population of 20-30-year-olds who are large consumers of social media, are students in some of the world's best universities, create unicorns and work in MNCs.
The problem with foreigners like you is that you either have a positive oriental perception of India or a negative oriental perception.
Those foreigners who have a positive oriental perception of India are only interested in Forts and palaces in India and overdo Rajasthan. Those foreigners who have a negative oriental perception of India are only interested in cheap hotels, slums and street markets.
Many foreigner intellectuals understand India by reading books like Mother India by Katherine Mayo or History of India by James Mill. They have no idea about how India is in 2020s.
The problem with foreigners is that they have an oriental perception of India.
Those foreigners who have positive oriental perception of India are only interested in Forts, palaces and Hindu temples and they end up overdoing Rajasthan.
Those foreigners who have a negative oriental perception of India only visit slums and street markets in India.
Those foreigners who look at India objectively have shown the diversity of India.

Kerala as a whole is SO beautiful, it's unreal. You feel like you're in a dream.
It’s definitely beautiful. But it definitely doesn’t make you feel as if you’re dreaming.
@RajvardhanPathak guess it really depends where you've gone. To me it definitely lives up to "Gods Own Country"
I am from Kerala. Next time you should visit munnar, kovalam beach, Alappuzha house boat tourism, Wayanad,Fort kochi, Subhash Chandra Bose park etc.❤ @@dancestacydance
Now it's really too hot in Kerala other than Munnar.😂😂😂
Visiting Kerala in September to November will be a much better option.
Thank you for showcasing this beautiful, yet unknown state of India. ❤ They dont call it God's Own Country for nothing. You're the man! I'm born and raised in Texas and my parents are both from Kerela. You've singlehandedly made me want to visit my ancestral motherland. Thanks friend!

Love from Kerala. The state of course is quite unique with its long rich history of trade across the world, offering a blend of culture you won't find elsewhere - esp with food. And yes, it's a natural beauty, blessed by mountains and beaches - does smell a lot good 😂. Quite a lot more is on offer. Hope you had a great time.

Tea plantations that stretch like emerald carpets. Kerala's got tranquility in spades!! Visited India before to film one of our TV show episode but I haven't really explored this side of India. I guess, what they said is true, you'll fall in love with the rhythm of life in Kerala.

Thank you for visiting our kerala. Hope you enjoyed
Hope you enjoyed Kerala.
Kerala offers something for all.. like beaches, backwaters , hills, wildlife, river sports, adventure sports, eco tourism, farm tourism, art, and even tranquil less known villages in Kerala can offer peace and relaxation But sadly the tourists just limit to munnar and alappey.
Everything good except the worst politicians of Kerala who make it devils own country
I'm loving your world tour videos.
Brett, I can't wait to see you make progress, and then meet the day where I'm leaving a review of your tea somewhere! Keep on keepin' on!
Kerala truly is a gem of a destination, offering something unique and captivating in every season. Its lush green landscapes, serene backwaters, stunning beaches, and rich cultural heritage make it a must-visit for any traveler. Kerala truly is a destination that can be enjoyed year-round, offering different experiences with each season. Whether you're visiting during the monsoon when the landscapes come alive with verdant beauty, or during the winter when the weather is pleasantly cool, Kerala never fails to enchant its visitors. It's no wonder it's often referred to as "God's Own Country".
Thank you for visiting Kerala
Nice place in India, thanks friend for sharing.
As an Indian, It's laughable when I see a title calling kerala as best kept secret in India. Just goes to show how little foreigners know about India. Dude India is a huge diverse nation geographically. Not just the busy, noisy and sometimes dirty streets in Mumbai and Delhi.
Indias complexity is difficult for outsiders to comprehend, that's what I feel when I see foreign TH-camrs videos about India. Most foreigners other than from countries like Brtain n others doesn't even know Kerala existence 😮😂
Do every Desi somehow know every aspect of the other countries😅, while our own majority people doesn't have a clue about Outside world, Isn't 87% of our population doesn't even have a passport to travel nor have geographical knowledge of most countries. So why expect others to know huh. Let them enjoy.
As a person that travelled 9 countries in my 25yr life, just my opinion to my Fellow Desi people that never once travelled outside the country, keep the over expectation of knowing about our country as if it's the only one out there.
To start a tea business, three places are a must visit. Kolkata, the biggest tea auction place in the world, Darjeeling, the finest quality tea in India are produced here, and the Assam, the biggest tea producing region in India. Also get in touch with the Tea Board of India , head quartered in Kolkata, they may be able to guide you a bit more in your endeavour. Cheers!!!😊
Best India travel series!
All the best for you're tea business mate🙌❤️
Love from kerala❤
Kerala is super 👌 Thank you for promoting
Thank You for Visiting Kerala. ❤
You should look into the Black Pepper business too. Kerala is also the place where Tellicherry pepper, which is quiet popular in the west, is produced. I think the profits are bigger compared to tea business. Export prices in Kerala go from $3 to $6 per kilogram and it retails for like $33 -$66 per kilogram in the stores in the US.
If you wanna know more about tea you have to go to assam, the state is India's largest tea producer with more than 50% market share, state also produces some of the most expensive teas in the world. Last year golden pearl tea from Nahorchukbari tea estate sold for more than 1800 dollar for 1kg( around 2.205 pounds)
I'm from Kerela and I feel so good

If you want to learn about tea then you have to visit Assam in the northeastern part of India. It is the largest tea producing region in the world accounting for around 12% of world's production and 52% of India's total production. It also has some of the most famous and expensive tea varieties in the world with Manohari Gold tea being auctioned at 1400 dollar per kg.

Smart polite educated people in kerala
I am crazy about music and movies of Kerala. Malayalam independent and film music of 2010s is like USA music of 1970s. My favorite Kerala film song is Pularikalo from Charlie composed by Gopi Sundar and my favorite Kerala independent song is Navarasam by Thaikkudam Bridge. My top 10 Malayalam films are following:
1) Angamaly Diaries
2) Ee Maa Yau
3) Great Indian Kitchen
4) Esthapan
5) Maalik
6) Anantaram
7) Guru
8) Android Kunjappan ver 5.25
9) Munnariyippu
10) Traffic
I have seen more than 100 Malayalam films with ratings above 7 out of 10.
Ee Maa Yau was amazing.
Glad to see someone acknowledgeding malayalam songs finally. Everyone praise malayalam movies and songs not much. Bt i must say the golden age of malayalam film songs ended with the start of last decade ie 2010/12. After that there was a generational shift and the number of quality songs have drastically decreased. The yesudas, mg sreekumar ks chithra songs are timeless.
Among new music post 2010 I really like the music of following places
1) Goa
2) Kerala
3) Nepalese Rock
4) West Bengal
5) Bangladesh
6) Mizoram
Checkout Dream Catcher Resort. Something different. Right in the midst of Tea plantation. How did you miss it.
