I dragged several of my friends into Overwatch months ago for competitive and I'd definitely say it's easier for all of us to win games with proper synergy and team comps! As a flanker/DPS main, it's definitely easier for my friends to know when to go in with me/ for me to know when my healer is attacked. It's generally much smoother and more fun to play :D Dat awkward Discord channel silence when you thought Hanzo didn't have ultimate and told the whole team to push forward tho :O

I know you said detestably, but Zen's ult is pretty much for shutting down other character's ults. It is its main use, and can be negated by communicating and trying to focus him down and either kill him, or make him pop his ult prematurely. Its counter is communication, and I feel it's necessary since ALL of the ults it counters are ones that could potentially wipe an entire team.
or McCree's or junkrat ult or a nano boosted ulting genji (believe it or not) then there are non-ulting examples widowmaker headshot ana presses E reinhardt dash enviromental kills

In a video called "what is a dive comp" I was hoping for a bit more theoratical stuff. For example counters and response, (un)favourable maps or, if it exists, a variant which is more reliable in soloQ when there's less communication. Sure it nice is to see how a dive coml works in practice, but I think that deserves it's own video €0.02
These types of strategy videos are fantastic. Being someone who plays mostly solo-queue, i've noticed this type of comp tends to be a bit more agreeable with other players on your team as well.
I like this type of video which explains a lot of details valuable to better gameplay. I'd also appreciate more basic coverage like explaining what a 2/2/2 comp is and why it is preferred.

I'd love to see more videos like this with a play-by-play explanation of your strategy! I'd also love to see ones where you point out things that went wrong (which you did in this video), even though I'm sure that opens you up to a lot of hate. just seeing a really bad gameplay with some rundown on what you can do in that situation to fix it would be awesome, cuz I often find myself in the position of scrabbling to turn a game around as a support main in solo queue... and some real gameplay examples on how and when to switch would be cool too, although I know all of this requires getting the perfect footage... anyway, great video! keep up the good work

Damn thats some good knowledge I really enjoyed this video it definitely teaches a lot of people who solo queue to play as a team. Unfortunately there are far too many people without a mic making this difficult without at least a 5 man party. Great video though keep it up

Every new Overwatch player should be required to spend at least an hour on your channel before they are allowed to queue. To answer your question, yes. Videos like this are extremely helpful, and make players who are playing correctly feel better about our efforts ;)
I wish I could find a group to run with cause you're right, it's close to impossible to find a good team comp when solo queing. Gotta love those Reaper players screaming at the groups because no one will play a healer haha
Oh yeah, as solo-Lucio I started to see myself initiating attacks when "frontlines" formed, though, mostly by using ult while spearheading to enemies and trying to brake them with pushes. In most cases it works, but yeah, I'm a bit impatient, so at least this tactics tend to work with both with the team and mine desires.
Another topic to possibly discuss- Shot Calling & how to deal with conflicting shot callers/ How to become a better one when there is already one on the team.
I like these sort of coach vids because they help me analyze situations and how to perform better in certain areas but I don't think I have the draw for people to listen to my shot callouts
I'm really enjoying this style. My team plays slower but I think both knowing a dive comp and play style as well as the calls that can be made is important for us to counter them.

I just won a Duo-q game with 1 minute on offense and 4 minutes on defense, because we communicated so well at the end. It was such a pleasant and intense game. I wish that could be in every game.

I didn't know what a dive comp was prior to this video so yeah I think you should make lots more.
