I decided to dye my hair purple for a change! I used Manic Panics ULTRA VIOLET hair dye, and its completely vegan!

Your hair cannot so damn gorgeous 😮😮😮😮😮😮 also, I love using this guy as a toner for like an icy silver white Or even a lavender hair color. You can actually dye it straight up purple with this. Dye in a wash out and like a few washes and it would start going lavender and then rent to a silver iced white. That's why I love this hair color and this hair dye

Thanks for the interesting part about the result on bleached hair, I’m naturally blonde (like medium blonde, something like that) and I was thinking about having it purple without bleaching it because I have curly hair so I’m scared it gets too damaged and I don’t want to lose my hair colour. So thanks, now I know I shouldn’t go for this shade of purple. xD
LiGHTNINGANiME thank you! Yes I would definitely recommend bleaching your hair even the slightest bit to get any sort of vibrant colour to show up! With colours like manic panic you need somewhat of a light colour. Bleaching your hair once shouldn’t be too harmful on your hair especially if yours is virgin hair. Just make sure you don’t over process it! You could always use coconut oil to revive it if you feel it’s too damaged! This colour on natural blonde hair will show up just not bright, it may just look black with purple under tones like mine did. Thanks for watching!!

manic panic washes out and fades unevenly REALLY quick, also “emo purple” was triggering but this was still entertaining nonetheless lmao

The cheap conditioner is what will keep the color from absorbing. The silicones coat the strands and prevent the color from soaking in.
Cappa Ccino yes! This is true, which is why using silicone free conditioner is important. Also if you washed your hair prior to dying it make sure it’s also silicone free

If u don't want it to fade don't wash in hot water wash in cold water you hair at less and use color safe shampoo and conditioner
Question: how long did it take for it to completely fade? And if it didn’t completely fade on it’s own, what are some tips to get it back to the bleached blonde? Does it mess up your shade of blonde or does it gradually go back to the way it was?
sisi2234 after a month it was completely gone. It will eventually fade out right back to what you had before without any kind of colour removing process because it’s not a chemical dye.

How long does it stay in your hair?
Lelanka 👌 it’s semi permanent dye, so it doesn’t matter how long you have it in. You can have it in for 45 minutes or 4 hours 😂 it won’t damage your hair.
@@nevaehrain1251 I meant it more like how many washes xD (pardon me lol) I have to wash my hair often so I wonder if it would be a waste for me or not.
Lelanka 👌 oops lol😂 it stays in for a couple of weeks. But you can wash it with hot water and it comes out faster, and with cold water it’ll stay in a little longer.

How long did it take to fade??
it faded the most the very first wash, most of the colour came out sadly, but overall it took a good 2 weeks for it to be completely gone. i had some spots that lasted longer than others, for about a month i had a purple stripe under my hair lol
Sarra Cicero yeah I dyed mine this color a few days ago, used dry shampoo and then finally washed it and it faded. Super bummed. It was sooooo pretty.😫
Tip wash hair in cold or nuke warm water and use color safe shampoo and conditioner it helps a lot
Does it bleed really bad?
Katheryn Davis-Strommer not at all! No stains on my pillow cases or anything, first wash had quite a bit wash out but I didn’t use a colour safe shampoo.

I’ve tried it. Just washed my hair ONCE, and with cold water, 80% of the color is gone. So ridiculous.

That’s just how bright semi perm colors are. Especially if you dilute them with conditioner. I’ve had manic panic purples and blues last like 6 months
My friend has had purple hair for like two years and she is way brighter then u and does not look emo at all I always do fun bright colors and do t look emo lol

@@SarraCicero I think they mean that those are two drastically different colors. The thumbnail is way deeper blue, like it’s got a filter on it. The video footage is more violet with a cool base.
you're super pretty, but yes, emo is an offensive term. Maybe try scene or punk next time because it comes off way less offensive!!!
How is emo offensive? I was an emo when it was in its prime of popularity in the 2000’s??
