My hair colour is plum by directions. It's such a nice colour and it stays 3 months or longer in my hair without re-dying. I love it, it's so pretty. First, it's plum, after that blue, than turquoise and in the end green, before your hair is blonde again. Love it💕

Really?! I used Ultra Violet from Manic Panic a while back on yellow blonde hair and I had the same turning into green situation. I did like the green, but it was really hard to get out of the hair! I wanted to buy Plum by Directions because it's more red and I have greyer hair now so I thought it wouldn't go green... What do you think?

manic panic is the one i use the most, its really expansive and there are a lot of tones of colors so you have a better choice, and even if it fades, its a beautiful color.

For me, Directions are the dye to use. My hair dyes very well with them - with Manic Panic I had some problems. But others say it's the other way around with their hair, so I don't know. But I like the packing of the Directions very much, too. Because it has no angles or edges inside you get everything out of the tube. Manic Panic has that round edge on top where you really have to work if you want the last remains.
You should washed them, to see wich one fades faster.
I've tried neon red hair dye with ion, Arctic fox, manic panic, and special effects. Imo Arctic fox is the best. It isn't as expensive as ion, it's cruelty free and donates to charity, lasts longest, and is the only red dye I've ever tried that doesn't stain my bathtub clothes or towels which is hard to do because it's red, it smells super nice, and actually makes my hair HEALTHIER instead of more damaged like special effects did. Plus when you order at least two bottles from the website they send you a sticker and their box and packaging is super cute ❤️ so I've been using Arctic fox for over a year

I was looking at getting arctic fox today, but they charge around £9 for shipping and I can't find anywhere that sells it in the uk.
Does Arctic fox stains your blonde hair? For me that I just want pink hair for a little while and come back to my orginal blonde color without pink remains

I prefer the packaging of crazy colour because it's less messy and I mix mine

I think I prefer Manic Panic over Directions because Directions NEVER stuck to my hair. With Manic Panic I don't even need to bleach my hair to get total coverage :3 I went from a washed out red/pink to an instant blue.

I love the idea you had for this video! Maybe try washing the extensions a few times to show which fades better as a follow up? And it'd be great to see this kind of video with different colours (like all pink or all orange)!

The best hair dye I have ever tried is “Lunar Tides” , you really need to try it!. Crazy colors is the worst.
I have used Schwarzkopf, directions and crazy color over the years and I was planning on using limecrime later this year so this was the most perfect video to watch for a comparison, thank you! X

Yaaaay ! I love Directions one, bt in fact I find them a little expensive ( in France the prices are higher ) but the colors are really intenses and it stays soooo long ! Love them since years !
You should maybe do a part where you wash the extensions, in order to see which colour stays most :)
And if you're thinking off redoing the battle again, maybe you could seek for Arctic Fox colours and Stargazer ones !

I always used to use manic panic but I recently switched to directions and I love it!
I use Punky Colour and Arctic Fox and they're good for your hair, I've had them both on for 12 hours (fell asleep with it in) and my hair was so soft! Also, both are cruelty free!

when I dyed my hair with the blue and pink from schwarzkopf it was alright and lasted some weeks, just like the directions did. Maybe it was something with your shampoo you used

It may have already been said, but what was the color used for Crazy Color? I believe the Manic Panic was Ultra Violet. I've used that and it's such a neat color. It's blue in some light and purple in other light. I like the blue toned ones. The blurples.

With hair colours like the thick paste/schwartzkopf just heat some coconut oil until its all melted...mix it into the hair colour, it thins it out.. makes it go a lot further! & doesnt alter the colour at all! 😃
Manic panic has several shades of purple and the one you picked has a blue base, they have pink based purples as well.
I use lime crime and I really enjoy them I'd love to see you do one on pinks and maybe even see how they last in hair like how quickly they wash out

Aah, I got so happy when you used the "Plum" by directions because that was the first "crazy" color I've ever used on my hair!
Uneducated little me just put it over my dark blonde and it looked awesome for a while and then faded out to grey which still looked pretty cool to be honest!

I had a feeling directions would win. I've been dying my hair purple for about a year and I'm not kidding when I say I've tried every brand. Directions always had good pigmentation, color variety, nice packaging and inexpensive. 👍
I kinda wish you would have done a test of how long the colour lasted because I have used crazy color and directions before and crazy color lasted way longer for me. (when I used directions the colour was alot lighter after only 2 or 3 washes
You should review different online shop where you can fing gith and pastel goth stuff!

I've only tried Ion Color Brilliance (tube), Manic Panic (jar), and Arctic Fox (bottle) in that order and my favorite is Arctic Fox. The bottle is a little difficult to get all the hair dye out but I just cut it open and scrap it out. Not really a big deal. And worth it for the quality of the hair dye. It's also vegan and not tested on animals.

I really like to know more about a hair dye brand. I think it is so important to know how much they lasts and if you want to change your hair color which one makes more problems. It is important to me so much and if i want to buy one (which is so difficult in my country) Price, concentration, durability and least damage to remove it are the most importent ones, not the packaging or tone of color becuz it’s very tasty!
I used that manic panic color (violet night) and it’s a lovely color but when you wash it the pink goes away and now my hair is just blue....

Elumen is the best for me. And I also reccomend Pravana to test. And you should also consider the smell and how it leaves the hair. BUT, this review is everything, you're accurate and super nice!

A really big part of what people want to know for these semi perm hair colors is how does it hold up when washing? Which I think fading is really important to know. For example, Lime Crime fades super quick & for that reason no matter how cute packaging is or price, if it doesn't last, it's a no go for me. Wish that was part of your video review.

Interesting to see my go to brand of hair dye won haha. I pretty much only use directions, mostly because it's the easiest one for me to get but also because it's the one I've had the most success with! I'd be interested to see what you think of stargazer, I use that one occaisionally but I really don't like the bottles it comes in

I would love to see and hear what you think about the brand adore. They have semi permanent hair dye and so far for me its great. Over here in the US its $6 and its been true to color for me. If i use it straight out of the bottle and let it sit in my hair for 1-3 hours like usual it comes out the same color as the liquid from the bottle. If you do water color method which is usually used for wigs and extensions it comes out true to the color that the water was with the dye mixed into it as well.
I have dyed my hair the professional and I have dyed it with manic panic and artic fox and it all works for me

I don't know about lime crime's hair dye but I know their makeup has had some issues with ingredients in the past and while they were vegan, they weren't very safe for you to use. I hope they changed their ingredients recently though, but I would still watch out for that! Arctic fox is also a good brand if you want to try more, they are cruelty free and donate 15% of profit to helping animals :D

is your hair pre lightened? the more porous your hair is the more the dye molecules will seal inside. i usually dye my hair after lightening it and it stays forever. also use a cuticle closer immediately after dying hair

The Live colours aren’t pre mixed they come with developer. You have to mix it yourself why it was so thick

Im the same with palm oil production due to orang outangs if i find products with palm oil i refuse to have any thing to do with it because of the numbers of orangutangs suffering

Have you ever used Arctic Fox or Pravana Vivids? I've heard good things. Arctic Fox is even cruelty free!
I've used Swarzkopft (I can't spell it sorry) and you're suppose to use it on damp towel dryed hair. When the hair it wet you get a better color result with the dyes so the result you got for it wasn't accurate. Sorry just had to point it out for the brands sake!
