- In this video I’m going to give my review of the creation Winterfrost Plus Edition created by Thedogofwar. These are creations made by modders and put in Bethesda games like The Elder Scrolls Skyrim and made for sale. I will let you know if I think it's worth the money. Don’t forget to subscribe!

Are you going to pick up any creations for Skyrim?
No
The east empire expansion is worth it as well as the dungeo
Yes, 5 years from now when all the new creations will be sold in one convenient package at a fraction of the price.
Hello I am new to the channel and would like to say thank you for the Insite to the Paid Mods you have covered so far. I am both sad and disappointed that the Paid Mods are both expensive for what they are and the fact that achievements are disabled makes it difficult for players to consider getting any of the new Paid Mods since they might still be chewing through Achievement based content. I hope that the Problems I mentioned get fixed for the reason that I have loved playing Skyim since its release back in 2011. Thanks again for the video. 👍

No house, armor, weapon mod warrants 5 or 6 dollars, ever. 1-2 dollars at most. I am not willing to go over 2 dollars for a house. "Illusion of choice" perfectly sums up Skyrim as an "RPG". It wants you to think you have more player agency than you really do. And many mods fall in line with this. I found Survival Mode to be absolute torture, but I agree that if you are going to use a house it needs to be placed in a location with convenient access to carriages.
Thank you for your input. I love Skyrim and I know so many others do as well. I'm hoping to help moderate these mod authors and keep them from trying to turn this into a quick money grab. I want to see proper DLC sized creations if they want real money. hopefully reviews like this one can keep consumers from impulse buying. Thank you again for your comment.
There are some amazing, massive, immersive armor and weapon packs that are absolutely free. And just looking at Skyrim Anniversary edition there are over 24 player homes in the game that are free/included. I wouldn't mind spending money if the creation was either dlc sized or doing things that mods currently aren't/can't like unique creatures or a massive quest/faction add-ons. I think home dlcs are currently unnecessary
Great video. I think Skyrim special edition had enough vanilla homes and hearthfire made player homes into a fun casual base building with the ability to customize what rooms you want and the ability to have stewards, carriages, and more. Then with Anniversary edition they added so many well made homes all around Skyrim. I cant imagine anyone buying this creation since theres so many ingame options and free stuff on the mod sites
100% Agreed! thanks for the comment
I would love a mod that gives the survival mode cc a mcm that allows you to change everything about the mod, from keeping fast travel on to how long you actually have to eat
I wish they'd add something that automatically loads the mods in perfect order. I can literally do rocket science better than I can make a load order.😂
On PC there’s a program called LOOT that does exactly what you want. It’s not perfect but still a huge time saver. Thanks for the comment
@@joeykeith . So in theory could one make a load order using this program & transfer it to Xbox. That would save every console player Soo much time. I've been literally tweaking my load order over 1500 hours just this year alone.🤣
It's a cool house I need to get back in to Skyrim and see all the new stuff.
I ❤Skyrim lol
@@joeykeith me too buddy just when I think I'm out it pulls me back in. I'll be one of those people playing Skyrim the Mr.coffee addition 10 years from now.
Great vid man. Needs less transitions, but overall very well done
Thank you
I like this house. Only thing is that if you place the replicas in their holders (and only the replicas can go there) they will respawn after a few days and appear back in the chest I got them from.
The idea of having them are nice, but even as pure display items they don't work.
Thanks for letting us know. Hopefully the creator can fix this.
@@joeykeith You're welcome.
I forgot to add: the Aloe Vera plant doesn't seem to respawn.
You can harvest 1 ingredient (two with Green Thumb perk) and grow them yourself, but after weeks of ingame days the original plant has not respawn while the replica items I talked about before have.
Luckily though, the Khajiit caravans do sell them every time I visit them, but I'm unsure if this is influenced by Rare Curios or not.
Doesn't matter we'll still buy it
I'm sure a lot of people will
I hand some spare random credits so I grabbed both houses. I hated both of them. This specific house's layout sucks and is only lit by the occasional candle spaced far apart. You NEED, are REQUIRED, to have some sort of mod in order to fix the atrocious lighting and lack of storage. I've spruced up Breezehome, Goldenhills, Tundra Homestead, and Hendraheim and they came out vastly superior. Bare in mind that I am absolutely NOT a modder by any stretch and I've made better housing that suits my specific needs. I love the exterior of the log cabin in Riften made by Elli on the Creation thing, but the inside layout does not suit me at all. However, the lighting inside is far better than many of her other mods on Nexus. I like small and simple housing, not cluttered out the wazoo, and with plenty of storage. So the Extra Breezy Breezehome is a fantastic base that I can build from. I wish more houses were like that. If I were to ever create a housing mod, it would be a small log cabin in the middle of the woods, next to a creek, sparsely decorated, functional kitchen, and with tons of various storage options.
love that idea! get into modding. you can do it
Lol. These people are nuts.
Who?
@@joeykeiththe people who would give their money to Bethesda for someone else's work
Meh. I think Caistorshold Isle better than this, and Lazz' player homes are definitely the best.
