Bethesda will just keep breaking mods out of greed, punishing the programmers who saved a buggy/unfinished disaster, & the players who keep buying it. I own every version on PC & console, but no more. I'm done with Bethesda. They have zero respect for their fans.
The parallax textures are quite welcome out of everything displayed here in this demo. Then there is jarring changes like Camilla or Jenassa being completely unrecognizable with copious amounts of make up on them while Hod has the same old vanilla face. The textures from parallax are such a joy to look at.
@@Filthee_casual I don’t think it’s pertinent too what the mod actually does since what it does is update many textures found throughout the game but here is the google definition of parallax [the effect whereby the position or direction of an object appears to differ when viewed from different positions, e.g. through the viewfinder and the lens of a camera.]
Hahahaha it’s like Camilla as an instagram “influencer” vs an ordinary guy/nerd that’s kinda the contrast true xD idk why. But regarding towns there was a guy who made Whiterun into a more primitive and cold looking Viking place - unfortunately he didn’t continue cause like this Whiterun would stand out way too much. I don’t think illusion is bad tho especially regarding structures/buildings. The consoles back then aswell as the engine were limited and no bigger town felt like city not even Solitude which really is a shame. This doesn’t contradict to a more grounded setting. Unfortunately for whatever reason it feels like the minority on nexus is into a true Viking/tribe/barbaric feeling. The majority of mods are either anime (I assume the most dedicated/talented modders are Asian), p0rn (i mean it’s obvious most modders are guys), very high fantasy ( TES is a high fantasy genre and not a low one but shouldn’t be a that colourful populated by too groomed ppl who could make ads..) as well as late medieval stuff which kinda makes sense maybe but it sometimes just looks too advanced.
Thanks so much for keeping an all time classic fresh and to all the modders who keep updating... When are you planning to take it live I need something to give give my 4900 a test...
I really like these mod lists which hides the age of Skyrim. Very easy and convenient. Unfortunately, in my experience, there are usually 2 major issues with these. The first is stability. Very annoying having CTD's all the time. The second is the thinking behind many of the mods in the mod packs. It is the Hollywood way, where improvement = more!. If you want to improve on something, you just add more stuff to it, instead of improving the core which is already there. In Skyrim terms this usually means much more foliage in the forests, many new npc's, many new shops and stuff on the ground. It changes the harsh barren landscape of Skyrim into tropical forests. The small towns of hard working people, where everything and everyone has its place and story, into New York in rush hour, where the AI pathing gets overcrowded, 95% is just there for show and you can't interact with most of it. In the unmodded Skyrim, if you saw something cool on a shelf in a shop, you could return later that night an try to steal it. If it was there, you could interact with it. With the mods, most is just for show, and you have to scan through all the visible stuff just to find the one or two items which you actually can interact with. It is not that just adding more and more stuff is a bad thing. Some people like that. I am just not one of them. However I REALLY appreciate the effort put into these mod packs. If any of you know of a relatively stable mod pack, which improves Skyrim with up to date graphics, improved combat and so on, but still keep Skyrim the harsh, poor, and sparsely populated land it should be, please let me know 🙂 (yes I know I could sift through all the mods myself and create my own mod pack. I tried that, and it simply took too much effort and time than I have for gaming)
This why I usually drop shaders, and landscape retextures, they usually never keep the harsh tundra style skyrim goes for, the only weather mod that I think does well for skyrims theme is divine atmosphere: Aetherius, the snowstorms in it are so thick, that you can barely see where the road your walking on is, and the thunderstorms are cool as well there's actual lightning that can strick in a random place.
Fantastic environment! The NPCs looked a bit plastic though, they need some texture to their skin, like pores As an example, Bijin does a great job retexturing Ysolda
ESO coming in clutch. Been wanting to get into Skyrim again with the only thing stopping me is the daunting amount of mods and time finding good ones that I want and installing them. Thanks for uploading at the PERFECT time!
Thank you so much for putting this together. My husband and I have been looking for a mod list that will make Skyrim look better. We love playing and have for years. to the point that or wedding theme was Skyrim. We are looking forward to being about to use the mod list for ourselves!
Thank you Danny, I'm looking forward to your modding tutorial videos. I'm late to the Skyrim modding world and I appreciate the help. Plus I'm a fan of your videos so it'll be nice to see Tamriel as you do.
Good deal, man. Thanks for updating your mod list. I've tried just about everything I could think of to get it to work since the update. I, literally, just gave up, today, so that's a very good deal that you're updating how to do it. 👍👍

Thank you ESO!! Playing Skyrim without my fav mods has been rough… I rough it out whilst on my Switch, but on my pc I shouldn’t have to. Looking forward to the mod installation guide, I love watching install guides for mods, so thanks for thinking to do that. :)
Love to see you do a complete legacy of the Dragonborn (including all mods that adds displays such as clockwork) It’s the only list I’ve been interested in since LODB came into being
I've added this to my playlist... You've really outdone yourself this time. I don't think I found anything in comparison I'm definitely going to be looking forward to that mod list.. Happy New Year's.. and cheers!
And you should see The Skyrim Ultima, honestly modders are incredible and honestly do so much, they basically turned Skyrim into a new game and it's incredible.
Really enjoying the channel. You basically play the games the way I like to but lack the time to do. I've been listening while working and it's been great so far have gone through the bg3, sf, ow, and am currently on cp2077. Like alot skyrim is my bread and butter would love a new play through with a new mod pack maybe constellation pack! Anyways keep up the great work it's awesome getting to experience these stories and all side stories and lore that I just lack the time to experience myself.
I just came back to Skyrim, to play for the second time, after maybe 5+ years. With a great computer in my opinion. And then... 4 days of modding.. 450 mods.. some problems, but all good. Started playing and it's just insane how immersive and perfect it is, I walk 10 steps and stop staring at a bridge or a tree, or an npc's armor, or a building.. I get inside the inns and it feels so cozy, the npcs feel so alive... I look at the sky and it's amazing, look at the distance and the mountains are so alive, full of trees and clouds.. the ambiance sounds, the water, waterfalls... Combat is sooo good with dodge and even weapon arts, combos, parry, execution. I think I nailed the right combination of mods, and I gotta say watching this video: Fabled Woods woth the little increase in tree size makes it much more magical❤ I'm not usind any LOD mod so if I look too far in the distance I can see potato cities, and the natural AI bugs here and there. My hair also mives and my char looks like dunmer gigachad. It's been so good I just can't rush it, 2 day playing for some hours and I just arrived at whiterun, stayed until dark staring at the amazing khajit caravan (jakajay is fecking amazing).. Can't wait to find inigo😊 And there's so much more, I'm grateful for having a pc that runs this well enough. I feel happy.
Danny, I think we all could do with a nice play through with these mods. I would install them myself but I don’t have a pc, nor will I. I live vicariously through you. Also thanks for the hard work and dedication through the years.
Skyrim truly is a timeless treasure. A reminder of the days where companies truly cared and put their hearts into the games. Honestly Skyrim, fallout and cyberpunk are the only games that just keep getting better.
Eso you are the voice of talos, I love starting the year off with a coffee and your creamy voice, what made it even better is that mod list is a god send 😅
I’m ready for the mod list!! You should keep a higher end version for people that have more recent hardware. I’ve got a 4070ti and Ryzen 9 5800x I think I should be able to get at least 50-60fps with a high end graphics mod list version!
It's amazing I think this is the only game that still gets played nd moded looks even better I think you have to do a new full game play through with this mate
this actually may get me to play Skyrim again after years away from it... never did mods with it so i'm sure it would make things more interesting and keep me playing this time around

Happy New Year Battlebrothers. Man I can't wait for the updated modlist. Spent the last month stiching together a working modded skyrim, with some flaws. I was especially torn between parallax and non-parallaxed, so I will be interested which textures/meshes you guys implemented. Everything is working again after the update🎉 however I am not really going to play the paid mods, even some might be nice, like the imperial trading company one you showcased.
I've been watching your commentary for quite some time. And, updates for years. I've been pleasantly impressed with the updates over the years. It's a dedicated Job and "grind" by the community. I would love to see a mod that adds a harvesting ability. For when you bag a kill of a form or wildlife. Just a friendly suggestion. Keep up the amazing work. 👍🏿
It just keeps looking better and better. Never played Skyrim before but played around 12 hours with your modlist last year before the Skyrim update killed it all. Lesson learned: Deactivate automatic updates. I liked what I played, but damn this game is big. And with two small kids here I might have to wait a few years to really dive in. By then Skyrim'll probably have 160 times the detail. And have released 10 times with new editions.
For anyone wanting to attempt this, a warning. See how he rarely moves his mouse left and right. When he does, at e.g. 04:00, you will see that there is a lot of stuttering. He has a very high-end machine and it will still basically be unplayable in this state. Just looks good in a youtube video.
Wow. I look forward to this so much. Absolutely stunning. I started to mod my skyrim some time ago but the work it took to find what I wanted became a bit daunting. I love this though. Only thing is that I'd prefer my npcs a bit more realistic and rough. I'll probably won't use that mod. But the landscape and everything looks absolutely stunning.
Looks great, but even in this heavily edited gameplay you can see really low performance, stuttering and full mini freezes and that's with your top of the line PC.
Seems odd to me that this guy wouldn't have a rig powerful enough to make it perform flawlessly. That plus the fact that he didn't bother telling us what he's running it on, suggests this particular list of mods might not run great on any rig. The page recommends a 2080ti or 3080 with a 12700k and 16gb of ram, my specs blow that out of the water, but I'm still not convinced this list is going to perform well for me. Wish I had more confidence in it, because it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
Wow, that's great! I can't wait for the tutorial to come out to install the new mod list. By any chance will the new mod list also include the mods for ray tracing, DLSS3.5, Path Tracing and FSR3?
I love watching you play and talk about what you're experiencing, although the mod list is the main point of this video, i haven't been able to understand how to use mods other than the ones bethesda provides in the creation part of the main menu. Not only am i trying to play for all the trophies on my pc so i feel better about playing with mods but I've got it on multiple different consoles so it got a but confusing which story i was playing until i got all of them on the PlayStation. Mods on pc are so amazing that it's hard to bot think about them while playing lol. Have a Fantastic Year and have a great day! 🎉❤
This might seem funny but.. When I first played Oblivion on my 360 and escaped the first dungeon. My life changed. Far Cry was so ahead of what most PCs could handle as well. It's peak gaming every year. 2077 another beauty.
any danger of a list for low end PCs that just prettifies the flora and fauna pls? a core list that doesn't touch anything else but just improves grass/trees/forests etc would be so perfect imho. a list made for vanilla plus lovers that even my lowly GTX1660 ti could run...which the more mod savvy folk could then customise to suit their playstyles by adding whatever additional mods they like... gorgeous showcase btw...🙂
For anyone wondering. All screenarcher modlist is unplayable. My recommendation you can have performance modlist that have ~80% of the looks (still stunning) but playable with 60 fps. 1k for terrain and general texture with 4k for armor clothing and skin texture. That is general rule of thumb. If your GPU can afford it, you can increase general texture to 2k and thats it.
I have been using this modlist for over a week now, It runs perfectly, in certain areas I get 30 to 40 fps, but the visuals are worth it. Most of the time I am at 60 fps or higher. My GPU is a 3070 and my CPU is a 5800X3D with 32GB of ram, just to let anyone know if they are having second thoughts about being able to run it, if you have similar specs you can deff use this modlist!!
Looking forward to the modding guide. I recently lost my 2023 SSE colection . I updated the mods and SKSE but got CTDs after having a glimpse of the menu.
The mod lists are now functioning with Skyrim's latest update: eso-ui.com/skyrim-se/
Hello, thank you for this modlist. To install this new modlist can I watch the 2023 tutorial? or is it different?
Eso when are animations coming back to modpack? a quote from ur site "Removed All animation mods (Will come back in a future addon)" :/
I only hope mr.Todd remastered this game lol. I mean about graphics.👍
can you add mods onto this lisy
First of all, thanks for the list. However, my antivirus software blocks the download as 'phishing'. Any suggestions?
I just want to take a minute to appreciate the fact that it’s 2024 and we are starting the year with a Skyrim video, amazing!
I mean it was more likely to be Skyrim rather than Starfield lol
its amazing, commercial...

Skyrim mods are like updates you basically get infinite mods next thing we know someone gonna remake the game in 4k
The AE update made the game render in 4k.
Isn't there 4k Textures?
Tons of mods have 4k remodels, sometimes even 8k
You can already do that but in 8k
The point in history where we face a human trafficking crisis just becaue people want 128K resolutions in everything. Lol...
16 times the thanks for starting 2024 with Skyrim content!

I’d really like to see you do a play through of this all out modded Skyrim that would be awesome !!
When mods for your 8 year old game look better than your newest game, you know you done..
Bethesda has to also keep in mind that they’re making the game for console players.
skyrim is 12 years old, truly a forever game.

There mods for foliage and upscale in texture for xbox

Seems odd to me that this guy wouldn't have a rig powerful enough to make it perform flawlessly. That plus the fact that he didn't bother telling us what he's running it on, suggests this particular list of mods might not run great on any rig. The page recommends a 2080ti or 3080 with a 12700k and 16gb of ram, my specs blow that out of the water, but I'm still not convinced this list is going to perform well for me. Wish I had more confidence in it, because it seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.
looking forward to the installation guide for the mods, been wanting a reason to start a fresh playthrough
looking forward to it, thanks for the effort yall put into this
''Look at that ocean.''
*Stares at a lake*
Wow, that's great! I can't wait for the tutorial to come out to install the new mod list.
By any chance will the new mod list also include the mods for ray tracing, DLSS3.5, Path Tracing and FSR3?
Looks awesome battle brother
I love watching you play and talk about what you're experiencing, although the mod list is the main point of this video, i haven't been able to understand how to use mods other than the ones bethesda provides in the creation part of the main menu. Not only am i trying to play for all the trophies on my pc so i feel better about playing with mods but I've got it on multiple different consoles so it got a but confusing which story i was playing until i got all of them on the PlayStation. Mods on pc are so amazing that it's hard to bot think about them while playing lol.
Have a Fantastic Year and have a great day! 🎉❤
The only thing missing for me is true HUD, True Directional movement and precision. No way my computer could run this anyway 😂
This might seem funny but.. When I first played Oblivion on my 360 and escaped the first dungeon. My life changed. Far Cry was so ahead of what most PCs could handle as well. It's peak gaming every year. 2077 another beauty.
Great video mate
That Khajiit market tent though is really nice ! And the whole Whiterun makeover.
Your website is awesome thank you!
Happy New Year Danny!
And they'll keep you warm through the rest of the winter. And they bring the framerate down to make things more cinematic.
looking forward to your modlist... even though i already have my own i built from scratch.. i might borrow a few mods from your list lol..
any danger of a list for low end PCs that just prettifies the flora and fauna pls? a core list that doesn't touch anything else but just improves grass/trees/forests etc would be so perfect imho. a list made for vanilla plus lovers that even my lowly GTX1660 ti could run...which the more mod savvy folk could then customise to suit their playstyles by adding whatever additional mods they like...
gorgeous showcase btw...🙂
For anyone wondering. All screenarcher modlist is unplayable. My recommendation you can have performance modlist that have ~80% of the looks (still stunning) but playable with 60 fps. 1k for terrain and general texture with 4k for armor clothing and skin texture. That is general rule of thumb. If your GPU can afford it, you can increase general texture to 2k and thats it.
This game never fails to impress me! I have started a new playthrough on Vanilla Skyrim and wow I am having so much fun! This looks insane!!!
The stutter is real in this one, little on the heavy side with the vegetation for me personally, looks good otherwise, what are your pc specs?
Any pland on a VR version of this? It would be kinda awesome!
Definitely need a Lorethrough with this mod set
Must be nice having a computer that's so powerful it could power the entire internet by itself.
I can see a game being created that’s almost blank . And have all kinds of fantastic tools for modders
I love noticing the frame drops in this video lol
What bugs me, aside from some of the NPCs, is the amount of shrubbery on some roads, especially town roads
Looking forward to the modding guide. I recently lost my 2023 SSE colection . I updated the mods and SKSE but got CTDs after having a glimpse of the menu.
Is the modlist in the description compatible with the current anniversary edition build?
