I don't say all this in a mean way but I really think "boss" battles with mechanics like that of the Jason Todd one are more than enough for a batman game...

Luke Brewder this comes to show that rocksteady doesn't know how to make a boss battle. It's very simple have batman fight the boss in hand-to-hand combat then it's over, not use a bat tank or take him down by playing tag

Rocksteady didn't want Deathstroke in the Arkhamverse but DC &WB interactive want to add him in.
I remember doing this. Deathstroke gets out of his tank, Batman tackles him, looks like it's about to be an EPIC BOSS FIGHT. I even forgot about the other disappointments and then... knockout...

Naho Saenoki Titan Joker fight was challenging and somewhat fun. Especially the henchmen fight before the boss fight. But compared to someone like Deathstroke.. someone who is the closest to Batman's equal. It's Tank vs Tank.... WTF IS THAT!? lol

This is the most forgettable game. It's tedious, repetitive, and they just brought a fuckin tank to win Batman's battles. It's cool,but they overused it in one game. They should remaster that shit and make it as better as the other games in the Arkham series. Hell,even Arkham asylum was better!

Most disappointing boss fight ever. You don't take Deathstroke and put him in a tank and call that a boss fight. Rocksteady dropped the ball on this one.
Then again, their Arkham games never had very exciting boss fights. Origins had the best in the series however.

@@irvinmorales1409 And? I expected so much more from it. Considering he's a favourite villain of mine. For a character like Deadshot I'd understand but Mister Freeze's boss could've been so much fun. I've never enjoyed super repetitive strategies in boss fights or ones strictly relying on stealth. After Deathstroke, Copperhead and Bane's boss fights in Arkham Origins, I can't see most of the other games' bosses as good.

Imagine a three stage boss fight. You go from Tank > Stealth > Toe to Toe. It would put Red Hood's battle to shame but at least it would bring the Quadrilogy full circle.

As much as I adore this game, Deathstroke got done dirty af. There definitely should've been a second phase where you actually fight him. Its like they hate deathstroke or something. 😂
arkham knight had so much potential to actually be the ultimate Batman simulator that Rocksteady promoted it to be, but instead we got basically no hand to hand boss fights, and the batmobile shoved down our throats for 80% of the game. People can say whatever they want about Arkham Origins, but for me both the story and definitely the boss battles were FAR superior to Arkham Knight, which should have been called arkham knight: batmobile tank edition. never been so disappointed in what could have been such a great game and overall experience in my life. the final straw was fighting deathstroke in a damn tank at the end. I actually stopped playing after that, and this was the only Arkham game I didn't fully complete

100%. Arkham City is still the best one. Arkham Knight had so much potential. So many cool things going on, so many potentially great boss fights and moments. Way too much Bat tank. It really felt super jarring to play through.

See this is why I didn't really like this game. They turned it into fucking world of tanks. When they said they were putting in the batmobile I thought it was gonna just be a cool thing that makes it easier to get around and adds a couple of new ways to fight. But nope! Guess what! They made it an integral part of the fucking game and made 85% of the game itself just tank based combat. I want to actually fight a villain, not shoot at a fucking car.

What they did to Deathstroke looks like what they did to Deadpool in "Origins: Wolverine". Huge potential which ends up absolutely wasted, to the point it would have been better hadn't they even been mentioned.

The even more sad thing about this fight is the fact that you don’t have to take out the Kobra escort. You can literally spam Slade’s tank with shots from the 60mm cannon and he’ll go down like that. Sad.
Everyone's complaining about how the fight doesn't do justice to Deathstroke's character... I'll complain about how his character model is just his model from Origins with updated graphics and nothing new added.

@@ptr7715 Arkham Knight you actually have to sneak up on while avoiding his sniper that kills you in two shots, multiple times.
Deathstroke gets put in a tank (which is way out of his character) and knocked out in a single punch.

The tank bosses were cool BUT they should’ve been like a secondary boss, and then they escape only for you to find them at a location for the final show down. Arkham origins nailed the boss fights perfectly imo, a mix of origins/knight boss fights would’ve brought a full Batman/bat mobile experience

Deathstroke is a master assassin known for his agility and hand-to-hand combat skills, seeing him driving a tank lessens the impact of his presence as a villain and takes away the player's immersion.

4:32 when this happened, deathstroke should’ve unleashed that onslaught of attacks on Batman like he would frequently do in origins and then we fight him for real but instead he was a joke battle

Batman Arkham Origin had the best Boss fights. The only disadvantage of this game is too much use of Batmobile.
I know it's really disappointing that you don't actually get to have a hand to hand combat with deathstroke (and how he gets one banged), but it shows how much better batman has become since origins where deathstroke was a real hard challenge for him.

The way to do it quickly : just get in front of deathstroke's tank ignoring all the others, and just destroy his.
Proud that when I did this it was one of the very few boss fights that not only managed to do first try but zero damage

In first game, they introduced arkham verse
in second one, they had a chance to introduce batmobile.

Please do yourselves a favour and check out the Arkham Origins Deathstroke boss fight. It’s actually a hand to hand boss fight that definitely lives up to what you would expect between a Batman Vs Deathstroke battle.
I thought it would be cool having a bat mobile in the new game, but now I don't really think it is, cause it's literally half of your fights, like he doesn't even get out of his fucking tank and kick ass, he just zaps people way too easily, like what kinda boss battle was that?
