This video features the boss fight against the Arkham Knight's Cloudburst tank from Batman: Arkham Knight.
Note that this video was recorded while playing on New Game Plus mode on the PC version of the game. I apologize for the occassional flickering of the video but I'm afraid that's Batman: Arkham Knight on PC for you.
The Batmobile battle against the Cloudburst tank may as well be the hardest tank fight from the whole game (the Arkham Knight's giant drill you face later is just a matter of running away from it, while Deathstroke's special tank is basically the same deal as the Cloudburst one but with no blind spots). Also, if you hate the Batmobile as a gameplay mechanic you won't exactly like the whole thing.
The fight is divided in three phases:
1)At the beginning of the battle you are tasked with destroying the five Cobra drones patrolling the island along with the Cloudburst tank. Since you dealt with Cobra drones more than once in the past you should already know what to do. The difficulty here comes from the fact that destroying a Cobra will allert not only the others, but also the Cloudburst tank.
2) Once the Cobra drones have been destroyed, you'll have to scan the Cloudburst tank itself and detect its weak points. You'll be then tasked to shoot at the four cooling ports of the tank, one for each side. These ports are dealt with exactly like the Cobras' weak points (as to say, you must approach the correct side of the tank and wait for the Batmobile to get a clear shot and then fire). Once a port has been destroyed, the Cloudburst tank will enter an overcharge mode and run after the Batmobile while performing different kinds of attacks. During the overcharge you don't have any other option than run till the overcharge is over and the tank has lost sight of the Batmobile, so you can approach it again and deal with another cooling port.
3) Once all the four cooling ports have been destroyed, you can use the Batmobile to damage the Cloudburst tank directly via hit-and-run tactics. If you saved the Batmobile's homing missiles attack now it's the perfect time to use it - เกม

I mainly just hated myself because I kept dying and dying and dying and dying for 90 minutes straight before finally completing. I was so over it that it just made stop playing the game for the day, because I was so burnt out that and it was like 2 in the morning and I needed to get some sleep.
@@theepicdude0002 I finally did beat the game shortly after my original comment. This was by far the hardest part for me beside a few riddler puzzles that took me awhile. But yeah the AI in this fight is nuts.
@@TraumaER riddler drove me insane. 243 is too many. 100 would be fine, it’s like they only installed this feature just to torment the player.
@@theepicdude0002 haha I did them all. Batman is my favorite character and the game is epic so I didn't mind. It did get frustrating on a few though where I almost just quit.
I thought this level was so tedious. Bought this game to play Batman, not MechWarrior.

@@Stormertheboy Driving was fun until they locked the story mode behind a required Batmobile mission. The game has dozens of side quests. Couldn’t we gotten Batmobile as side quest content only? Would that have been too much to ask?

Ugh, this fight...so dumb and unfair, first you have a tank which is somehow faster than the Batmobile in every which way and can catch up to you in less than 5 seconds, then you have the whiny bratty Arkham Knight trying to prove hes not a total crybaby ignoring the smart and intelligent Scarecrow's warnings but the worst part is the fact that Deathstroke, Batman's equal in every way was reduced to literally the same battle as this.

This is what ruined the game for me. And seriously Final boss is a giant tank!? And then again when you 100% the game wow gee, great use of 2 wonderful villains and putting them into a tank.

Advice from someone who beat this first try: when he chases you, you have to keep turning, every chance you get. If you try to run away even in a somewhat straight path, he’ll ruin you

Bro I got it first try and almost died Because i ran away so much but then I just lit him up with the Vulcan missiles and got lucky
The thing is, he basically just teleports behind you. No matter how far away I get, I just have to keep moving until he loses interest, otherwise you’re dead

When the cloudburst was chasing me, I turned into a dead end and had a heart attack when I saw him speeding towards me lmao.
Happened to me too, I hit him once and look on the map and see him dashing towards me like he's the flash or sum
How Was it Against the Excavator and Completely Losing the Car, Helpless to do Anything?
It's understandably hard, however my point of contention is that after you land a strike and flee suddenly the batmobile can't stear. You hit the gas and or afterburners you spin out and hit a building with your side. This game is extremely repetitive, as bad if not worse than Fast and Furious. And the ending, not entertaining at all.

I started this boss fight at like 12:00 pm and finished it at 4:00 am, the amount of stress and frustration I had I can never forget

Bro this fight was easy for me. All I had to do was just keep watch if my radar and surroundings. Then when I beat the cobras….. I JUST OUTFLANKED THE CLOUDBURST TANK and trust me it was on hard but to easy for me

This tank just managed to chase me the whole streets and tight turns, all with my batmobile afterburner is on
Simple trick, go to the bridge where the old train car is parked between the 2 bridges and hide behind it and keep shooting every time the tank passes by. The tank just waits and then moves away easy target
Or hide underground

This bossfight was literal aids like he caught up to u in like 2 seconds and controling the batmobile was like impossible
It's hard because it's intense , the sound makes it intense and harder, so just turn off the sound and try it's alot more relaxed, don't rush it either just take your time around the tank

Relax this part was the 2nd stressful... the first one is where multiple tanks try to destroy u when u just want to hack the bomb on street...

Its so stupid how the cloudburst catches up to you so fast
There’s a knack to it. Find a building you can go 360 around, there’s a nice tower in Chinatown that is perfect. Set this as your waypoint. On the way to the waypoint engage the tank once and speed off. After the tank gives up make your way to the waypoint and wait for the tank (you can attract it by firing your gun ). Once the tank appears you now need to dance with it around the building taking shots when you can. The tanks shots will hit the building not you. Once you’ve taken out the 4 target points the game will auto save.
Loved the game up to this part thankfully I beat it and never touching it again.
Find a sewer tunnel and lead him towards you. You can shoot from inside the tunnel and then back up slightly until he starts to turn around. Drive back forward a little bit and start shooting him and continue doing this until he’s dead. I was able to beat it without getting hit once after getting destroyed by the cloudburst tank the first 2 times I attempted it.

Got Arkham Knight when it came out for PS Plus, and one of these battles just made me quit all together. Hope Gotham Knights learns from this.
In conclusion? Make sure you’re playing Arkham Knight and not World of Tanks.

What game designer. designed the way of that fucking tank, it’s moves faster than you, it turns as soon you’re about to shoot it, it goes in the direction wherever you’re hiding, it fires 1 million fucking things at you AND those fucking lasers can wipe you out in 3 shots.

First time fighting this and The Arkham Knight chases you with his tank is fear inducing.

It took me about 30 to 40 minutes to complete this boss but didn't die at all when he was chasing me it felt like omg I'm getting chased bye a tank that can catch up to you in a second and litterly blow you with one shot

A stealth mission with the batmobile vs tanks has to be the dumbest fucking idea ever
First time playing this I couldn't figure out how to damage him, then I was like, "ooh glowy spot, I should shoot it".
Thank fuck after 30 tries with this i finally figured it out the easist way to destroy the tank at then end is to fire at the missiles then shoot at the tank you dont really need to move away you can just stay at the front i tried everything and that strategy worked out better for me i did it within seconds

Tips:
1.You can't outrun the tank with flat out speed, even with a boost.
2. Aim for the rear or front weakpoint last, get the sides first.
3. Do NOT go into the sewers! Despite what people say he simply chases you down there and corners you.
4. There's a hotel In China town with some steps on one side. How I beat him was basically ring around the roses. Shoot then loop round.
5. Constantly look at the radar, he will change direction to cut you off so circle round the other way.
6. The turret sometimes rotates the opposite direction so bare that in mind. You want it rotating the opositte way to which the tank turns a corner ideally.
Once you've taken all four weakpoint that's the hard bits done. From there it's shoot the front glowing part of the tank, retreat. Then repeat.

After some time i found out it's not that hard at all. The most important thing is to hit the lava-like glowing thing at the front of the tank. So...shoot once at your target and then escape around corners untill you are out of combat(it only takes 5-8 seconds). Repeat this and you should make it within 15 shots or so. Make sure your corners are close to eachother for the best effect of escaping. good luck!

NGL, I rebooted the game and didn't get to this part the first time, now I'm here, just switching difficulty to easy, so I can get on with the story.

Now I put this game to rest. This battle man.
Easiest way i found so far was atound the bridge just a few seconds up from a train I'm able to hide on the roof while the knight drives by and shoot him up then its time for the epic chase falls into the sewers gives me a few seconds then boost the f***k out of there till thw bastard overheats.
Get really really close and start firing. Occasionally back away. This should help you beat the tank in 1-2 tries.

The tank form of the Batmobile should have been cut very early in development, and its associated gameplay segments.
How did you get a checkpoint save after destroying the cobras? I got past that part and was killed during the cloudburst tank battle and had to redo the cobra tanks fight.

At first I was like: wait jokers the Arkham knight? Then I remembered the hallucinations and was like oh ok.
A really easy way to finish is to get the riddler trophy under panessa studios (you have to before the gas explosion happens) hide in there and lure the cobra tanks in that area (they cant go into where you’re hiding) and just strike from there.
Me thinking it was slow was so naive of me and i regret it

Did anyone else have a problem with this fight. It was so difficult. Not really the cloudburst tank itself but I was never good with the cobra tanks to be begin with. And if you’re spotted early they will surround you in 10 seconds. Plus running from the cloudburst can be difficult is you keep running into walls. Oh my first play-through. This fight took me (I kid you not) 90 minutes on normal mode. Yet for some reason when I played new game plus. It didn’t give me much trouble like I died only a couple times. Still, this may be one of the hardest bosses in the Arkham Saga, if not the hardest.

This part is very hard but huge tip here……Play without sound and listen to some soft music, the music tense music makes you more stress, I played frank ocean and did this first time ahahha.
2nd. Makes sure to use the drifting well on this and also when he shoots missiles Do the press x and hold left or right to dodge them, it helped me on new plus.

In the last part of the battle, there is a tunnel where you can hide after you hit the front of the tank. Even so, it's a bad boss fight, unlike Arkham Origins boss battles.
Little late, but just hack a cobra drone and let it defeat the other ones.

I just discovered how to beat him in aless than a minute.
When youre at the part you have distroy the cloudburst tank, attack it where you start. Keep his tank under the tunnel and his missles are useless.
Had to restart from last checkpoint, 1 of the tanks spawned inside of a garage. Legit thought it was gonna pop out as a boss .
I restarted mine from the last checkpoint THREE TIMES and the Arkham Knight's tank ALWAYS spawns on the other side of a raised bridge 🙄
Heh. I find best easy way is at train one Red carriage near bridge....Just Hide behind carriage and boss tank can't attack you because block view for him and you can fire at boss at very close range just 2 corner of this carriage...boss is very frustrating lol

Yes I really hated this one when I beat it the first time, but the first 120 percent is done, now I’m very close to getting the other 120 percent on the new game plus, but with this fight in particular, I can’t remember what the hell I’m supposed to hit- it’s not very specific, just mentions that it’s weak point is the cooling system, or some bs like that… don’t really know where to hit

My game got glitched. So now I cant beat this boss fight. Somehow ridlers voice got glitch into the game and now it wont shownth thing for the coolant lines or let me lock on to the tank

@@dankgothtrash try upgrading your batmobile, upgrade the armor on so that if you get hit once it won’t take you out, and also upgrade the gin on the bat mobile that way if you shot it will attract a millita drone to the location you shot at, set those bastards up
@@dankgothtrash and I know sometimes its hard to get away from them when they catch you but use the boost and try your best to make a lot of turns because going straight makes it harder to lose them, and stay away from the arkham knights tank until you get rid of the other ones!
