From what I understand, the enemies are like this in certain playthroughs as they are only looking at batman, which in this challenge or trial he is located under the platform, which is also why they are looking down. They also believe the player is batman rn and so they will focus on him, which makes it easy to complete the trial.

Yeah, I’ve had this happen to me once before. I think what happens is the game gets confused and all of the NPC’s are still focused on finding the character coded as “Batman” so they completely ignore Azrael
