- Playthrough of the Xbox Live Arcade version with Sonic & Tails. You must own both Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 3 to be able to play this, and then start Sonic & Knuckles and access the bonus content menu.
My last run of this had me die twice, I'd really hoped to make this new video a no death run but...well to put it nicely I was rather NOT PLEASED with what happened towards the very end, especially since I then had to do 2 bosses with no rings. Oh well, next time I do this game with Sonic I want to do it without losing a life.

Say, I never played this version. Are restore points possible in this version, like in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection and 3D Classics Sonic 1 and 2?
Hi, yes you can save the game at any point in these Live Arcade versions. However, the seperate save files in Sonic 3 were removed, so after you beat the game, you can't go back and play whatever level you want I'm afraid.
Bruh I completed both of them separately just to get hyper and now I have to do it again
I just bought both games on Xbox but I don't know how to lock on both games
Play Sonic & Knuckles, go onto the bonus content menu and you should see Sonic 3 & Knuckles there.

That's what annoys me about the Sonic Ultimate Genesis collection. Yes you can save anywhere but it doesn't work well because you can accidentally save with less lives, higher time limit, not enough rings etc. While if you could just select each level, you could collect the chaos emeralds easier and not have to replay the whole game every time.

can you still get this for Xbox one because the Xbox website says it's backwards compatible,but when i look it up on the Xbox store it says not for available on the Xbox One but it does show up on the store,can i buy it on Xbox PC store then just download it to my Xbox One?
To buy 360 games using a prepaid xbox card you must use a actual 360. If you're using a visa or a credit card you can buy it on the xbox one or the website.
You can buy it on the Microsoft store and download it on your x box. I just did it on my series x.

I have a question i have Sonic 3 on my Xbox 360 and i have a little offset while jumping or walking. Is IT my controller or is it the game? Can you fix the offset?
