Thanks for uploading such an amazing content. This reminds me of your first chimney breast removal, which is the reason I subscribed to your channel. I’m sure the editing took some time but it was definitely worth it. Can’t wait for the next episode. 💯👌
Hello, I really liked all the explanations you provided in this video, and am wondering where you are based, because we would like to remove the chimney from upstairs bedrooms.
Hi. Depending on the local authorities sometimes, they don't like the gallow brakets. 2nd check if the neighbour remove their chimney cause the wall is going to be on a lot of stress. 3rd, the chimney brest don't have to be bigger than 1100 mm because it will be very heavy to be sustained by gallow brackets
Hi,bro that's really an amazing video you have uploaded here. I am just wondering do you have to inform the local council before start breaking the chimney.
Nice video brother, can we start breaking brick from the ground floor to the loft, assuming, no temporary support is required if good brickwork until we provide the steel brackets
Great video and even better job. I wonder how much it would cost to remove one chimney and how many time is needed to complete the project 😎 liked&subscripted💪🏻
Very soon going to be getting the chimney breasts removed in my new home, exited but kind of scared at the same time. Will be using gallows brackets so brilliant advice in this video how to install them, i will be hopefully using m12 bolts. Fingers crossed my chimney breasts are solid. Question, how do you calculate the max amount of bricks you can take out in the attick/loft with low risk to it just coming down.
When you are going to apply for the removal building control is not going to install the gallow brakets if chimney is to big then 1m. In stead you will need the structural engineer and hi will do the calculations for a still beam
Hello there , How can I get in touch with you ? I am not using social media. Btw I am based in Spalding near Peterborough and I am looking to take the chimney breast down , would you be interested ? At this stage I just paid for Structural engineering so that will takes about two weeks and afterwards I will need to get the gallow brackets and when that done I will be ready to go the house I am regarding is 3 bed semi-detached . Do you know how much would that cost ? Best wishes

Thanks and Yes you do.
Nu necesita sustinere cosul pina montezi braketii? Multumesc
Depinde de situatie dar ar fi mai bine sa fie sustinut
Salut! Trebuie sa cerem permisiune daca vrem sa demolam un cos de fum? Multumesc
Da, trebuie ceruta permisiune inainte de a incepe.

Depending on the chimney could cost from around 2k to 8k . I seen some be taken down with 1k but they went inside the neighbour house 🤣🤣🤣

hi.if you can give me some type of contact like a email i will get in touch
What is the reason for not removing the entire stack?
If I removed the entire chimney, it would cost a little bit more, and the client didn't had the budget for it at that moment.
Cool video. I keep wondering where your safety glasses and dust protection mask are. 🙂
Most probably still at the shop.ha ha ha
