I just found out about the witch trials and the fact that my ancestors were involved, I’m just now learning more about it, very interesting!!!

And though I’m not related to Sarah Wildes my 8th great grandfather, Thomas Dorman of Topsfield testified in the Salem Witch Trials against Sarah‘s stepmother, Sarah Averil Wildes. My ancestor accused her of being responsible for his cows dying from freezing, crazy stuff crazy times!
Hi. Thank You for this wonderful video! Just a gentle correction regarding Sarah Wildes Bishop's brothers. Though Jonathan Wildes was thought to be bewitched, (or insane or....faking his odd behavior by some), both he and John Jr. actually died in King Phillips War. Jonathan Wildes died before 30 April 1676 and John Wildes Jr. died as a result of the Battle at Moore's Brook June 29th 1677, current day Scarborough, ME.
Sarah Wildes who was married to John Wildes and whom was hung during the Salem witch trials is my 9th great grandmother. George Jacobs who was also hung during the Salem witch trials is my 10 great grandfather. When I first started watching your video I was very confused but then realized there where two Sarah Wildes during the Salem witch trials.

You are the first living person I have found that I'm related too. My mother was Josephine hunter Bishop, daughter of Horatio Warren Bishop and Florence Lillian Gill. Direct desendance of Eward Bishop jr and Sarah Wilde. I was born out of wedlock in 1956, given up for adoption at birth. My Mother passed this life in 1957. I was adopted by Milton and Mary ann Buckmaster. I am working on both Bishop and Buckmaster geneology. I would love to communicate with you about the Bishop family. I’m from that area of MA. My moms stepfather is a Wildes and it was what my mother kept as a surname for a most of her young life. I thought it was just a coincidence but finally managed to connect the family tie. Sarah Wildes is my grampy, Clyde S. Wildes great great etc. nephew
