0:45 James V was king of Scotland, not England. However, he was closely connected to two kings of England. His maternal grandfather was King Henry VII of England (father of the famous Henry VIII), and his grandson King James VI of Scotland later became James I of England after Queen Elizabeth I died childless.

1:45 Just wanted to mention "Moray" is actually pronounced like the name "Murray". I've heard the rule for British aristocracy is that the more famous someone is, the more likely it is that their name is not pronounced as it's spelled. :)

I'm reading Here Shall I Die Ashore (Caleb Johnson). So on Stephen Hopkins second (Mayflower) visit he and 16 men decided to head out on exploration. They desecrated two graves, stole a large cache of buried corn seed, encountered two empty Indian houses and "took out some things". Afterwards all their houses burned down (built too close together) and they basically did it again lol. Any wonder things went south w the Indians?

@@QuietlyCriticizing Why do u think I'm here or bought the book? I descend from him. As do thousands. Anyway they eventually did create pacts w Indians. Though the beginning wasn't idk graceful lol. After Cortez (+ fighting w Spain) it created race to gulp up new land.

I am proud to say John is my 12th great grandfather. I came looking for videos of him. Thanks for making one. I also decend from Thomas Rogers of the Mayflower from a different line. My Rogers descended ancestors that came to Massachusetts Bay Colony in the Great Migration in 1630s and were actually a family named Ayers.

Joan Beaufort, Queen of England is my 17th Great Grandparents! Thanks for sharing! I am enjoying doing my ancestry. I don't buy the love story between Joan and James. IMHO, that story was made up by some Scottish historian to make their hierarchy look more glamorous/like a fairy tale, but I don't believe it. Why? Because the Beaufort name was scandalized, so to speak based on her grandfather having children out of wedlock with his longtime mistress (Kathryn Swynford), who later became his 3rd wife. Kathryn(the misstress) gave birth to Joan's dad, John Beaufort. Joans granddad and his mistresses relationship may very well have been a true love story. Back in this time period, most marriages were arranged without any real 'love connection' taken into consideration. Everything back then was to 'marry up', so inho, she was most likely coerced OR decided to marry James I to regain their family notoriety, gain power and financial advancement. I think Joan's true love may have been with Sir James Stewart, (her 2nd husband) who was more of a protector, whom Joan married AFTER James I was assassinated. Who falls in love with a prisoner? Only someone who knows that the prisoner is a heir to the throne. I imagine her life was a living hell having to fear for her life at every corner while she was married to James I. Thanks for listening!

Hi! I saw this recording many months ago, but then I didn't want to reply because I thought that no one would believe in my words because not many people believe in reincarnation. But now I listen strongly to my soul, and for several days my soul has been strongly "wanting" me to write these words here: Since I was a child, I have felt a strange, very strong connection with nature, horses and the Native Americans, deep love for them in my heart. I knew, I felt with my heart how many of them had experienced harm. At the same time, due to the culture and religion in which I was raised, I did not believe in reincarnation for most of my life, I thought" it is just some fantasy". This lasted until I found a man with the soul of my former lover, as it turned out over time during the cleansing and integration of our souls - the current reincarnation of... John Smith. My beloved soul... because... Matoaka is one of my reincarnations. One of many in which I met the soul of John S. Our souls experienced many traumatic stories in reincarnation, which is why they were in a state of disintegration, so many pieces of our souls and a very large part of our energies were in other beings, peoples. We both look different today. He was born, lives in the USA and I in Europe - as if we had switched continents. We both couldn't remember our reincarnations for a long time. But I worked a lot on myself (also with the best specialists, clairvoyants, people performing hypnotic regressions, etc.) and I searched and integrated, put together the pieces of our souls, remembering more and more. Some of the information in publications about our history, in net and even information on geological tables is false or partially true. First of all, Tomas Rolfe, my son there, was the son of -!!! - my beloved John Smith. Not son John Rolfe. Unfortunately, some time after becoming pregnant, Queen Anne of Denmark quietly ordered her servants to injure John S. and forcibly take him to Great Britain, supposedly for "healing" but with informations that he had died. But in deep truth she was guided by the rule of do war, possible profits, taking over territory and ruled by... John S. ...as her silent lover (of course when her husband the king was not "saw" this). When John S. and I were together, our love was so great that it spread to others and soothed the disputes and willingness to fight of some people on both sides. The Queen knew this, so it was important for her dark policy to separate us and to quietly place her Britain's hand on America. John Rolfe was a good man, with his own difficult experiences. When I was "forced" to marry him under the pressure of concluding an alliance to prevent war, he accepted the news about the child and took custody of me and him, publicly showing that he was father. Therefore, there could have been information and even documentation that he was Thomas's father. Thomas' soul is currently reincarnated, in my teenage son. The two souls of my beloved animals from those times are in our current animals (today they have different bodies, different species). When there I sailed to Great Britain at that time to meet the king and queen, my main deep hope was to find and meet John Smith. Unfortunately, the influence of the queen and the black love magic she used to trap him, depriving him of free will, changed him greatly. It hurt me a lot and weakened me - becouse then of course, neither he nor I knew then that the queen and her magicians used very strong love magic on him). Anne of Denmark, seeing me at the audience, gave a silent order to kill me. The lady who served me in the room I lived in poisoned me with lily of the valley root. John Smith at some stage, unfortunately after I died, realized how extraordinary and pure the feeling between us was, different so mentioned me in his publication. When I write about it, it still touches me very deeply and brings tears to my eyes. 💓 I still don't remember many details, but maybe some of you will be interested in what I describe. In most of our other reincarnations, my and John S.'s children were murdered (for various reasons), so there was no continuation of our common lineage. An extreme uniqueness is writing to people who are our descendants and the most beautiful fruit of our pure love, which was Thomas. 😇❤️‍🔥🙏

My research indicates this is actually William Brewster - at some point it became associated with Richard Warren but this image is not shown on any historical sites about him. This image is on many historical sites about William Brewster and there are other paintings of him as well. However the error originated, it has led to a domino effect of misidentifying this portrait all over the internet as people continue to share it.

Martyr John Rogers wrote this to leave with his Children💓.. Give ear my children to my words Whom God hath dearly bought, Lay up his laws within your heart, and print them in your thoughts. I leave you here a little book for you to look upon, That you may see your father's face when he is dead and gone: Who for the hope of heavenly things, While he did here remain, Gave over all his golden years to prison and to pain. Where I, among my iron bands, inclosed in the dark, Not many days before my death, I did compose this work: And for example to your youth, to whom I wish all good, I send you here God's perfect truth, and seal it with my blood. ... Abhor that arrant whore of ROME, and all her blasphemies, And drink not of her cursed cup, obey not her decrees. Give honor to your mother dear, remember well her pain, And recompence her in her age, with the like love again. ... Beware of foul and filthy lust, let such things have no place, Keep clean your vessels in the LORD, that he may you embrace. Ye are the temples of the LORD, for you are dearly bought, And they that do defile the same, shall surely come to nought. Be never proud by any means, build not your house too high, But always have before your eyes, that you are born to die. ... Seek first, I say, the living GOD, and always him adore, And then be sure that he will bless, your basket and your store. And I beseech Almighty GOD, replenish you with grace, That I may meet you in the heavens, and see you face to face. ... Though here my body be adjudg'd in flaming fire to fry, My soul I trust, will straight ascend to live with GOD on high. What though this carcase smart awhile what though this life decay, My soul I hope will be with GOD, and live with him for aye. I know I am a sinner born, from the original, And that I do deserve to die by my fore-father's fall, But by our SAVIOUR'S precious blood, which on the cross was spilt, Who freely offer'd up his life, to save our souls from guilt; I hope redemption I shall have, and all who in him trust, When I shall see him face to face, and live among the just. Why then should I fear death's grim look since CHRIST for me did die, For King and Caesar, rich and poor, the force of death must try. When I am chained to the stake, and fagots (bundles of sticks to set on fire) girt me round, Then pray the LORD my soul in heaven may be with glory crown'd. Come welcome death the end of fears, I am prepar'd to die: Those earthly flames will send my soul up to the Lord on high. Farewell my children to the world, where you must yet remain; The LORD of hosts be your defence, 'till we do meet again. Farewell my true and loving wife, my children and my friends, I hope in heaven to fee you a11, when all things have their end. If you go on to serve the LORD, as you have now begun, You shall walk safely all your days, until your life be done. GOD grant you so to end your days, as he shall think it best, That I may meet you in the heavens, where I do hope to rest. Rogers’ widow returned to Germany with her fatherless flock. It is probable that at least two of his sons became prominent Protestant leaders in England and America. Rev John Rogers (Bible editor and martyr) John Rogers (c. 1505 - 4 February 1555) was an English clergyman, Bible translator and commentator. He guided the development of the Matthew Bible in vernacular English during the reign of Henry VIII and was the first English Protestant executed as a heretic under Mary I of England, who was determined to restore Roman Catholicism.
