Interesting. I spend a lot of time 3D modeling projects for 3D printing. Lot of printers work well for so many projects.
However some of these projects can't work in all types of printers like smaller ones. However It is fun to create sections that can be printed and joined later.

If you want to buy someting cheaper than Prusa 3, I just bought Ender 3V2 and I'm happy with it. Sure, it is not as smooth experience as with Prusa, but it will do

What printer would you suggest for a newbie? I'm mostly interested in prototyping and making functional parts. (not interested in making sculptures and pointless prints)
You might consider an enclosed printer that is better suited to ABS and PETG. Otherwise you'll have to do like I'll have to do and build and enclosure so your prints don't warp. I print props and figures so PLA suits me fine for the most part.
I don't care what the haters say, this is a great video!

Please note that 3D printed items are generally not food-safe (also plastic leeching)
isn't that true for anything like sport and dental mouthguard, plastic toothbrushes, whitening strip, sex toys, arent we all taking a risk using plastic things? we will only live for so long, were not getting out of here alive.
@@hacklabdesign *Amazing take*, actually there are many issues specific to 3D printed items as opposed to a plastic bowl, for example microscopic pores form during the FDM printing process which lead to bacterial buildup which can not be thoroughly cleaned to be food safe (ask why we clean dishes in the first place to understand this one). There are other issues too, such as toxic metals (lead) from inside the printer/hotend ending up in the print. Both of these issues can, unsurprisingly, kill you with enough ingested and that's not even taking into consideration what filaments you are using! The only way you can ensure safety is by coating/sealing the prints in with a food-safe coating.

Hello, I have a question. I am using Cura and an Ender 3 V2 When the printer made a perfect sticking 3 layers raft he begin printing to high. The layers wont stick the 4th layer. How can I solve this problem?

BB- It's temperature or humidity if you have your layer height set correct , record the temperature and humidity of your printer area (sensorpush) , be in control of everything. Add a space heater or dehumid if necessary. Experiment turning off your bed completely.
@@hacklabdesignThanks for your answer. But its the Z axis thats wrong. My first 3 layers (raft) are perfect but when the first layer of the model starts to print the nozzle starts to high in Z axis. The layer is like floating 0.5mm in the air. My humidity is good I think.

This isn't a bad idea for beginners. It's just every 3d printer site sorted by popular, but new people may not have seen many of them, there's a few I haven't seen and I've been at it for quite a while now. What needs work is your delivery, please don't suggest selling models that people aren't really allowed to sell. It's a scummy thing and new people could get into some trouble because of it. I know I would go after someone selling my design without permission.
I also see that you adamantly deny it, I'm not here to argue that. You specifically mention selling them on etsy/ebay and testing/owing markets multiple times. Scumbags are going to do that whether you tell them to or not, so you could advise against it instead of for it in other videos.

My goal is to make several different styles of split-keyboard cases. (e.g. A Sofle keyboard case in PETG). I'm going to get a few PLA prints under my belt first. I'm a Revit user, but I have access to Fusion, and will be using udemy to get rolling.

Both are 4 step motor robots, a CNC does flatter larger items and subtracts (cuts away) material a 3D printer used melted plastic to create (additive) usually smaller 3 dimensional plastic items.

Hey man love the video but I just want to say for future videos and this video, you can't sell these without permission from the maker, you said countless times that you could sell these products on etsy, that's stealing. And from other comments of you saying "I did not print nor sell any of these ideas or say they were mine", yet on your etsy page there is a product you're selling for $60 that does not belong to you. So I'm wondering, did you get permission for that?

The only thing I'm interested in is practical things that I see around my house. I look around the desk and think, could this be 3d printed? Generally the answer is no at the moment.
