I saw a modular organizer you might like. I think it’s called Gridternity?
is there a chance you know who designed it? i bet its some boring genius
It's Gridfinity 😂
who made it? seems pretty cool, they videos about it are great
Didn't some guy named Zach Friedman make it
Total scam, totally a bot, the guy is a total cyborg.
Awesome list sir! That basket at the end was one of the first 50 things I printed when I got my new printer and was totally new to 3# printing back in 2020. You're right! It is so satisfying to deploy.
Love it! This should be a regular series!
A great Kitchen addition is the IKEA Skardis pegboard and any number of handy little designs - I have one I used to make an "Espresso Corner" for my best friend that has Portafilter holders I made, a Tamper and WDT holder, WDT I made her and other items.
I love these kinds of videos. brings new ideas of stuff for me to print! Great job, I look forward to more like this!
Great content mate. Thanks for the time and effort you put in. 👍
Thank you Michael!
Love your channel!
Keep it coming✌😁👍💞
Michael that was cool. Yes I did find a few items in the video that will be of great use in organizing house and shop. Keep up the greatness. And chip clips... dozens of uses in and around the kitchen. Again Michael, many thanks.
Some great prints there. Love your work!
This is so good! Love practical prints, keep up the videos. Hello from Melbourne!
The first one is perfect, i was looking for a nice can holder for forever. Thank you
Nice selection Michael! See some pieces I need to print! Thanks!
A Dani Ric fan I see. It is a nice jacket. Oh.. thanks for the print designs also.have a good 1
love these! please keep them coming!
Cable organizer is AMAZING!
I love these projects so functional and useful
I want more videos like this!! great job!!
Great list! I’ll be printing most. 🙌
There's a number of cool things here to print, I might do some of those chip bag clips, and the cable winder is pretty cool.
Great to see your new Alpha Tauri jacket. Go Danny Ric!
I think I've got at least three things for tonight and tomorrow to print 🙂. Great video!
I love the cable winder, I'm printing a few of the those.
Excellent ideas, thanks
This was way better than I was expecting; I could definitely use the entire set of objects for kitchen and travel. I've been holding back from a 3D printer, because I've got too much going on at the moment to add 3D printing to the learning curve; but your channel has totally convinced me that obtaining a printer is a must (for me anyway)
The Michael Laws design is great for someone in the Septic Tank Servicing field … also another great video cant wait to print some of these!
Wonderful stuff!
Great ideas Michael.
Awesome ideas!
Vase mode in cura is known as "Spiralize Outer Contour"
I have een a lot of these things before and thought at one point I might not learn anything new, but I was wrong you showed me a couple of things I hadn't seen before. Thank you
this is awesome!! thank you for curating this list
Brilliant video! Great inspiration for a new printer. Cheers!
Why oh why do people keep designing hexagons with bridge parallel with the bed, if you rotate the pattern 90 degrees then there is no bridging, I see this all the time, such a simple change will improve the printability of a part.
awesome video!!! 💯💯💯💯 keep up the great videos!
Thanks for these!
Superb coffee cup gimble for my various wheelchairs/scooters
Thank you
A really good video
Enjoyed it
More like this please
Thank you very much
Great list, thank you!
Very good.
Awesome list - grabbed about half of them!
Please post your makes on Printables. It’s a little thing that I’m sure would be appreciated by the creators you featured. Thank you. 😊
That tooth brush cap sent shivers down my spine. Thinking about all those bacteria happy to find a home in between the layer lines....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Rocking the SAT jumper today Michael! Good to see Danny back but a shame about De Vries huh? Also love your videos thanks a lot!
Thank you for this! The toothbrush cover is something that has been driving me crazy, not anymore!
Not sure I would use it. The bacteria that would get caught in the PLA could be pretty gross.
For me the USB cable winder is the best! However, the others are also very good! Congratulations, really useful. Thank you
what settings did you use like suports/infill
I haven't gotten far enough into my drawer organizing to use it but Zac's gridfinity system on Thangs is great. There's a TON of options, some require magnets but not all. Good if you have drawers that eat everything
this is the way
You ae a clear F1 fan, I hope you continue to wear F1 merch in the videos! :)

Michael: "The kids are learning to organize their room, AND gaining an appreciation for 3D printing!"
Michael's partner: "Neither of those things are happening."
Incredible to see a video about organizing yor life that doesn't mention Gridfinity. Quite refreshing, in fact!
Was not expecting an alphatauri jacket on the 3d printing side of my subscriptions. Rip Debris
I think I have seen him in a Renault one as well.
Great video! I already used a two part cable winder, which separates quite easily, making it a bit inconvenient. But the one you have shown in this video looks better for me since it is print-in-place, and it stacks better. As soon as I get to print, this is on the list “To Print”.
How long do cables survive winding and unwinding? It looks like a way to break them. Then again, traveling itself might be almost as bad for them, and knots probably are a bigger problem?
@@maxmustermann2596 I have been using those cord winders for about half a year. The only damage I have noticed on the cable is that the middle gets pretty kinked, which I don't think the design TT showed off solves that.
If I print this the bottom gets stuck together, it’s so annoying
@@yobtnirp You need to tune Horizontal Expansion/XY Compensation
@@djispro4272 what’s that?
Damn, nice example names!
You don;t need a brake to slow the eggs down in the two-layer holder. You just need to load it from the front up the first time, so the eggs only ever get to roll one egg of distance at a time. Loaded that way, the eggs can't build up enough momentum to bang into each other and cause damage.
But what if the fill level drops to 30% while using it?
This, just load from the last empty egg
I found a handy tailor's tape measure dispenser on printables, stops them getting all tangled up.
The cable winder looks like a winner. I've lost count of all the USB cables and earphones I have.
That collapsible basket is cool too, but one thing I've learned about children is that if there's a basket to collect things in, they're determined to fill it.
I printed the cable winder but the top and bottom got stuck. I love this idea better then any other I’ve seen! I’m just very very new to the printing game so it’s probably a beginners mistake? Any help would be the best! 🤓10:03
I love the not wasting any time to get the Ric merch
Lock bag grip 👍
I feel like you're intended to start by placing the eggs directly on the bottom of both of those dispensers when they're empty. Once the dispenser is mostly-full, they won't be able to build up enough momentum to damage the eggs when you place them at the top.
You're right. Less fun but safer.
@@TeachingTech- Can I put SUNLU 3D Printer Filament in Ender 3 but it’s PLA ?
@@Jakeypoo-di6hyyes
I've definitely thought of a cable swirly more times than one, will probably check at least that one out when I'm able to print again..
amazing video!
I cannot print that fabric coaster in silk PLA. I've tried 3 times already with 3 different settings. When I do with the PLA, it goes smoothly, the coasters look fantastic. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I printed the rabbit, it was all good. I'm using eSun PLA+ and eSun PLA silk in my Ender 3 S1 Pro.
Where do you get your designs from and how much do they cost?
Thought I was watching flight of the conchords.
You sound so like Jermaine Clement.
Great video.
The sweeping 2 line name thing is pretty easy to do in fusion and others with the revolve tool, or the sweep tool if you want a custom curve
Hi iam new to 3d printing can you suggest me some daily use and need of filaments. Which filaments should i buy and keep
Gridfinity. Champion of 3D printed organization. … Great video! Thanks for highlighting these, I see several I’m going to print.
Where to I organize my organing prints? In more organizing prints?
Sweet jacket 🏎️
Hahaha, now I know your name! I gonna make a Sweeping Name Plate that says "Michael Laws ME!" :P
Perfect video at the perfect time. Was just looking for stuff like this
Today was the day I learned that some people dont keep their eggs in the fridge. Who knew?
Eggs have a natural coating that protects them meaning they don't need to go into the fridge. Except in the US they're washed for retail, removing the coating, so they should go into the fridge.
@@LxRv coating or not, they still last longer in the fridge
Eggs sold in the USA need to be refrigerated, as they have the protective cuticle removed. Eggs in other places generally don't, so they're often okay not being in the fridge.
@@xbadjokerxhow long do you hold on to your eggs 🙃??
It can be hold for 14 days without any problems outside the fridge..
But mostly the temperature is the problem. In warmer climates it is sometimes better to store the colder..
Like others have said, store bought USA eggs must be refrigerated because we choose to acid wash the eggs. That limits the amount of bacteria but also allows eggs to become internally contaminated.
Unwashed eggs do not require refrigeration for some time. Possibly many weeks.
In order for a good system to work a country must have some uniform rules and a type of food handling culture.
0:25 very fitting how you say you are all about functional and practical while wearing an alpha tauri shirt lmao
The clip for a bad of CHIPS*** is very interesting. It doesn’t look to far off from piranha plant haha
brb printing the glasses skull right now
For the collapsible basket, shocked you did give egg collecting as a use. Have a thin stack of them by the door. Whoever is going out to get the eggs, they grab a basket or two and just go collect.
1:24 This looks like a cool CNC'd heatsink 😮
That pencil holder looks like it'd make for great octolapses, haha
I need more of this, please!
☮️❤️🌈
@teachingtech my ender 3 pro prints slide around towards the middle of prints and I’m practically bald from all the hair I have pulled out trying to find out why please get me answers
Did you really go to the woods with your 3d printed basket?
Nice video ,useful prints.
Anything that involves hygiene/cleaning or food/beverages I tend to avoid printing (except bag clips). It's just too easy for fdm printed items to have great places for bacteria to stay and grow.
If you really must print stuff that also needs to be sanitary, look into food safe clear layer paints or epoxies to coat the print in to make a more even surface so bacteria aren't able to hide and grow.
(As for the Pen Holder) A TIP: When storing Pens/Pencils, it's Pens down (so the ink flows to the tip) AND it's Pencils up (so their tips stay sharpened).
except for fountain pens
@@andrey.p you don't use your fountain pen caps as backup ink well booby traps? I don't know if you're using fountain pens correctly unless half of your worldly possessions are permanently ink stained.
New sub 🎉
hallo, am very new to 3d printing and I do try printing the USB Cord winder by TinkrMakr, and it was a hassel removing the infill how do I do that without infill and both of them snapped when I twisted the top
очень полезное видео! спасибо, я окончательно понял, что принтер мне не нужен) держатель кружки на руль убил наповал)))
I feel like I need to print all of the files here
No mention of Gridfinity? Shame! It's currently the best and most modifiable organization ecosystem.
I printed the cable winder and it just one piece - no winding etc - what am I doing wrong please - ender 3 s1 pro - both the 5mg and others were the same
I did the USB cable wind up storage.. It was stuck when trying to free the center part by turning it, it just snapped the center winder inside.. so that was a waste of 5 hours printing.
How safe is using 3D printed parts for food-related stuff?
Bacteria can collect between layer lines, so it's not usually recommended unless you use some sort of food safe liner. That said - none of the prints in this video directly touch the edible part of food.
I never got the nameplate to work. Tried multiple times from the website and never realized it could be downloaded… 🤦♂️
I really need to start my 3D printer fund 🤦♂️
GridFinity?
The Wavy Pencil Holder is no longer flexible, alas... It now has a solid-walled inner cylinder.
Not sure I am happy or sad after watching this video, because I suddenly got a high demand for filament 😂
How do you manage to get an sh sound in the word "assuming"?
Most of the food based (toothbrush) I wouldn't use. Knowing what we know about how PLA is not food safe, I don't think it is worth the risk.
