I think the Hero of Kvach is still in there, he's clearly gone completely insane since he's Sheogorath, but he's still there. Why else would Sheogorath, prince of madness, consider Martin a better Septim than Pelagious? Only because when he was still a mortal, he knew Martin and was his friend.

Sheogorath is my favorite Deadric princess but also the most scariest you can expect half of the Deadra to deceive you and the other half to honor their words, but Sheogorath is hard to read and for a lunatic he is very intelligent and cunning

The Hero of Kvatch is still in there somewhere. Sheogorath speaks of Martin, the Thieves Guild, The Grey Fox, and he really wants to help Pelagius. The Hero of Kvatch is in there.

Jyggalag returned every thousand years when he had the mantle of the madgod, so it is possible that Sheogorath doesn't completely replace a person's mind, but actually modifies it to fit their new task, at least for a limited time
@@matiasvonbischhoffshausen1307 Oh yeah. Sheogorath is his own god separate of Jyggalag now. They are two separate entities, two separate gods. But Jyggalag coming back during the Greymarch meant that Sheogorath didn’t actually preside over him fully. I mean, it was Jyggalag’s punishment. It’s not HIS punishment if he is no longer there to suffer it. So naturally Sheogorath’s creation meant that he could not fully inhabit any being he was a part of. He could project himself onto them and overpower their soul and their being but he could not get rid of them all together. Just…suppress them. Sheogorath needs another being to be a part because he was created for that purpose, to be the dominant part of another being. So if that being dies, he can no longer inhabit them. And since the events of The Shivering Isles took place he jumped ship to the Hero and Jyggalag’s punishment ended.

Sheogoraths realm in Skyrim should have been brighter. Maybe like psychedelic inspired with a moving geometric sky. He is the god of insanity. It could change and get darker as his moods shift. Having it bleak like this isn’t very fitting for a guy like Sheogorath.

It wasn't his realm. It was the physical representation of the mind of Septim Pelagius III.
I think it's a general problem in Skyrim with how moody it is in comparison to Oblivion.

Well yeah in Oblivion he was Jygglag cursed to be Sheogorath, Skyrim it's the Hero of Kvatch who had become the new Sheogorath after the Oblivion crisis. So it's two different beings but the same being or as he said it's a title that is passed down from him to himself every few thousand years.

Okay, I REALLY cannot stop watching this. Out of all the years I've been alive, i've read many books, played many games, watched many movies-- Overall, i've discovered a good amount of characters, and invested myself in more than I can count. However, I've really never thought to myself, "This character is really well writen." But Sheogorath on the other hand? He's an exception. THE exception. The only character I have actually thought is so fucking well done, I just can't stop obsessing over. And anyone that's played the Shivering Isles DLC from Oblivion knows his full story.
He is just the single most well writen character i've ever come across, and the fact that he is the player from Oblivion, is why why it's also one of my favorite games ever.

and I'm glad they brought back his actor for Skyrim. I can't imagine anyone else voicing him.

actually he is the protagonist of oblivion.
Mainul Akash was the Hero of Kvatch, he's Sheogorath now. He took the mantle and well he now looks like the old Sheogorath, he sounds like him and dresses like him. It's funny how many hints he drops in Skyrim talking about how he was there during the oblivion crisis, tell the Dovakin that the name of Sheogorath was one that is passed down over the millennia from him to himself(either referring to the greymarch or how the original passed the mantle to him) or that the Dovakin reminds him of himself when he was younger. Pointing in him own mad way that he's the main character from oblivion(hell Bethesda even confirmed it) and yet there's those who still argue that he's not.

the funny part is that unlike most people think sheogorath does remember about being the hero of kvatch and champion of cyrodill, he talks about martin becaming akatosh, the fox and some other references of shivering isles expansion, really interesting, how god level insanity can make the mind of a serious world hero coexist with madness incarnation at same time , like , this should not work but as it was with jygalagg himself, order can exist with disorder somehow and balance each other as much as they repel and disagree or deny each other, they simply balance each other in the end,this a really interesting concept to me

I like how the amount of insanity Oblivion has, not just in the Shivering Isles, and also possibly from the bugs too, is what warranted the Hero of Kvatch into being the Mantle of Sheogorath. Also, if you are Argonian, drinking that Hist Sap also added to that factor

He does reference it. He mentions being there when Martin turned into Akatosh, he mentioned the fox, he obliquely referenced the events of the Shivering Isles DLC. He couldn't get into any more detail than he did because who the player character *is* in Oblivion is, shall we say, somewhat variable?

Sheogorath is the only daedric prince I can identify myself with. The only difference is that I have a few more personalities than 2 (and some of them speak languages I don't even know existed, so, pretty funny when one of them is texting my friends and no one can understand them XD)

Honestly 1 idea I like for elder scrolls 6 is the neveraine comes back from akavir wounded and beaten and then enlists the help of our character, Sheogorath (and thus the hero of kvatch) and the Dovahkiin honestly I would love to see 4 legendary heroes meeting and fighting together maybe even at one point sheogorath briefly returns to being normal hero of kvatch or something or even better all 4 go *To* akavir
