    Leo, the double column is a great idea. I do wild card Wednesday every week on my channel with your still and will definitely try the double column distillation with some California Sugar Pine in one of the episodes!

    Hi Dr. Leo. How much lavender essential oil and hydrolat should I expect to yield on each cycle using your distiller? A rough estimate is more than fine as I guess it'd depend upon raw lavender's quality, age, and dryness, etc. Thanks

      I had an experiment comparing with or without soaking before distillation. There is no much difference. Steam Distillation with Dried Lavender Comparing with Soaked. Which One is Better?

    Hello Mr Leo
    How much pine needle oil can we get from 10 kg pine needles?

    • @LeTimeLeo
      @LeTimeLeo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi you may expect 13 to 50 ml of oil from 10kg pine needles. The wide range depends on its pine breeds and age of trees.

    Thank you Dr. Leo. How much pine tree hydrosol can one take internally at a time ? I appreciate your videos. ❤️🇨🇦

    • @LeTimeLeo
      @LeTimeLeo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi, I am glad to hear from you. The general rule of taking hydrosol internal is dilute 2 tablespoons into 1 liter of water. Consume a liter in a day. Repeat the process for three weeks and then take one week break.

    Does the material have to be fresh ?

    • @LeTimeLeo
      @LeTimeLeo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The material doesn’t need to be fresh. Actually dry material can bring you more oil and more concentrated hydrosol if air dry.
