Have a pixel 4a, second hand from cex here in UK for £140. Had it approx 17 months and it appears to be better than iPhone 16 or iPhone. Glad it cost waay less and better i.e. Swipe on text, swipe for back, number ontop of keyboard, fast charging, customising, video in video call if vid chat and searching on internet and so on. Pixel 4a seems better.
Totally agree. I have the same, and have for the past four years. The Pixel 4a is a killer phone that punches far above its weight, and I really see no need to upgrade yet.

My first ipad ever was when i was 13 years old. It was ipad 3rd gen. I loved it. I used iphone 6s which i hated bc was limited storage and cant use mod apks. I use TH-cam mod i hate ads. I wont ever buy TH-cam premium when free alternatives are available. Its not that i can't buy it.. if i did id feel like an idiot.
most reviewers forget the high resale value of Iphones. where flagship androids lose value by almost 50% by two years, Iphones easily hold value till atleast 2 years before losing value considerably. The pros have the same mics as the non-pro ones. I did a side by side recording on the 16 plus and 16 pro in a crowded mall and both could record exactly the same audio and also same out in audio mix
That button is like an appendix....it's there (you don't need it) just to give you problems. Those refelctive things you see...that's a flaw in the camera design not the camera or sensor per se. They need to make them ...hmmm more flush with the chassis....like the S series.....we S series folks don't have that problem. And ultimately if you're in one ecosystem it doesn't make sense to switch. I do have an iPhone 11....wanted to see what the fuss is all about but then I am an android specifically a Samsung user with the watch and the buds etc etc and I use a Windows laptop and a chromebook and those play very well with Samsung.
Things that people didn't realized is the iphone 15 series is wifi 6E device and 16 series is the new wifi 7 device and it's a huge differnce in cellular and wifi connectivity. I did a few test with several iphone 15 and 16 and here are the results. Iphone 15 on wifi gets around 70-90mbps,iphone 16 on wifi gets around 1.4 - 1.5gbps and that's a HUGE difference!! It helps if u happened to be at a dead spot the 16 will still connects. Just to add Samsung has way better connectivity on wifi it gets 3.2gbps-3.5gbps. Yeah u saw that right.. btw i'm using iphone 16PM.

Last year iPhone 15 had dropped to 72k in january with 4k cashback on some cards, and if they drop the prices for pro (slim chance) it could be a win win. I’ve been an Android user since HtC wildfire in 2011. Switched to an iPhone 15 pro last year. It was a painful switch but one thing I hate most is why sole still had no back navigation gesture and what I love most about iOS is the backup system. Oh and that iOS keyboard is just so bad… no number row, no long press for symbols no easy access to gif etc….
To be honest, English India is coming out at the same time as German, Italian and French (Major EU countries) so it isn't an issue of the user base. Each country has data privacy laws and Apple needs time to make deals with them.
This is in contrast to Gemini which already support multiple Indian languages out of the box. The Indian languages are not even on the list let alone any schedule, the localization effort from Google deserves a praise of its own.

You can't just announce something and then keep customers waiting for the feature to arrive while they've already paid full price for it.

the intelligence not being supported broadly right now reminds me of how current games get released with more bugs than in the past, promising to patch them after launch. If you ask me, companies should either refine their features to the point where it's consumer ready, rather than promising updates down the road. Apple and the majority of android phone companies already count on you upgrading your phone every year, so I am not vouching for this decision. Lastly I'd like to add that I do know it takes alot of work to support all the languages in intelligence, and I understand the need for them to delay this feature as well, I just will not have it as a selling point when it still isn't a selling point in your country.
okay idk what were u expecting but they improved camera (it sucks that they didnt upgrade the 5x lens) , battery ,performance and thermals by a decent margin but yes the overall experience is very similar to 15 pro series but so does every other phones like pixel 8 series to 9 series and s23u to s24u ...they are also practically same improved camera and soc( thats more prominent on pixel 9) ...on the samsung side there is also nothing new and their fold line up is even more similar than previous model
The iPhone 16 series had one of the worst launches ever with the feature it was built from the ground up for, Apple Intelligence , not fully available at launch. But if you are coming from an old iPhone, it's still a good upgrade. It's a solid phone that should get better once Apple Intelligence is fully available

I really considered getting this phone from Dubai since my family was there. But at the end i felt my Pixel 7 Pro could go for one more year easily. Not enough new features to justify the price imo, with uts flagship feature not even launching till end of year.

Most probably don't even know about it but once you start using the phone as a tool it's very handy feature, daily use floating windows working on tasks. I iOS is just isn't mature enough yet to be a proper productive tool. They need to focus on software instead of gimics and raw processor speed.

iPhones have great build quality and feel premium but they lack software features that are very useful. For example the clipboard is nonexistent in iOS. There is no adaptive battery that uses ai to learn your usage to then save battery life and more.

camera control button is little bit weird taking a photo with that makes Pictures shaky. I upgraded it from my Iphone 12
To be honest, English India is coming out at the same time as German, Italian and French (Major EU countries) so it isn't an issue of the user base. Each country has data privacy laws and Apple needs time to make deals with them.
This is in contrast to Gemini which already support multiple Indian languages out of the box. The Indian languages are not even on the list let alone any schedule, the localization effort from Google deserves a praise of its own.

And to your point about laws - well, that's the whole point I'm talking about. You can't just announce something and then keep customers waiting for the feature to arrive while they've already paid full price for it.
I got an s24 ultra and iPhone 15 pro max. Honestly android takes the win.
Similar I'am have a IP 14 Pro max only for photography /Video Record some times for Social media and S24 ultra for daily use my Main device. But i prefer android as well.

the intelligence not being supported broadly right now reminds me of how current games get released with more bugs than in the past, promising to patch them after launch. If you ask me, companies should either refine their features to the point where it's consumer ready, rather than promising updates down the road. Apple and the majority of android phone companies already count on you upgrading your phone every year, so I am not vouching for this decision.
Lastly I'd like to add that I do know it takes alot of work to support all the languages in intelligence, and I understand the need for them to delay this feature as well, I just will not have it as a selling point when it still isn't a selling point in your country.

okay idk what were u expecting but they improved camera (it sucks that they didnt upgrade the 5x lens) , battery ,performance and thermals by a decent margin but yes the overall experience is very similar to 15 pro series but so does every other phones like pixel 8 series to 9 series and s23u to s24u ...they are also practically same improved camera and soc( thats more prominent on pixel 9) ...on the samsung side there is also nothing new and their fold line up is even more similar than previous model

The iPhone 16 series had one of the worst launches ever with the feature it was built from the ground up for, Apple Intelligence , not fully available at launch. But if you are coming from an old iPhone, it's still a good upgrade. It's a solid phone that should get better once Apple Intelligence is fully available

Making me sad owning a iphone 16 pro max and watching this video. i do have a pixel 9 pro xl but im so tight up in the eco system to hard to let go. iphone, icloud everything is save there, ipad, macbook pro, airpads, apple watch. airtags on all my keys. I have to get myself out of this.
I really considered getting this phone from Dubai since my family was there. But at the end i felt my Pixel 7 Pro could go for one more year easily. Not enough new features to justify the price imo, with uts flagship feature not even launching till end of year.

iPhones have great build quality and feel premium but they lack software features that are very useful. For example the clipboard is nonexistent in iOS. There is no adaptive battery that uses ai to learn your usage to then save battery life and more.
