Hey you mentioned that you ship all over the globe by using a commercial kitchen. What do i need to do in New York to sell self-packaged teas online within the United States? I haven't been able to find any clear information on this. I'm open to using a commercial kitchen but am not sure about what licenses I'd need to acquire. Thanks!
if your using a commercial kitchen you will need a business license, insurance, and any additional permits the city may require ( this varies by city and county) even if your using a commercial kitchen you still need to protect your business.
depends on the ingredients if they are not in need of a fridge or time sensitive I would see no reason why you cant just check the list of foods and ingredients allowed. I have NOT seen anything that says NO.
It depends on the laws and regulations in your specific area. In general, making glaze for donuts at home would likely be considered a type of food preparation and would be subject to various state and local regulations related to food safety. You should check with your local health department for specific regulations regarding the preparation of food in a home kitchen, as well as any labeling and licensing requirements. Some states have a cottage food laws that allows individuals to prepare certain foods in a home kitchen and sell them directly to consumers, but it's important to note that these laws vary by state and may not include glaze for donuts. It's also important to make sure that any food you prepare and sell is done in compliance with all local food safety regulations, including proper storage, preparation, and handling of ingredients. Additionally, if you are planning to sell the glaze, you will need to comply with all the regulations related to food labeling, packaging and marketing.
