Everybody's taste is different. Been a fan of flashing/blinking brake lights since the original Cyber-light in the early 80's. Really helped on my motorcycle! Added Kahtec brake light flashers to the center light to every vehicle owned since 2002. Still some of the "dimbulb/distracted/yapping on their cell phones" pinheads have come dangerously close. Seeing these decided that I like this type of attention getter and will be better than the center light install. Easier too as I have the cargo light center style which requires two people and pulling down the headliner. Thanks for the video and will be checking more of yours!
I will never understand distracted drivers. Yep, these light strips are very affordable, easy to install and should last! Thank you so much for tuning in and I hope to chat with you again sometime soon We R Fergie!
@@modXELA Super excited as just received the Nilight Strip today! As the really cold weather is going to linger thought I'd wait to install despite having a heated garage, but went to test them in case of a problem. OK, is there a trick with getting the plug into the trailer connector? Tried and tried and tried. Looks like they are lining up but won't go in pass 2 or 3 mm. Thanks for your advice!
@@WeFergie I would highly recommend for you to wait until the temperature is at least 60F or you'll have problems with it sticking. I'm not clear on your issue regarding the plug. Hey Billy-jade!! I thought I'd give it a shot and see what everybody else thinks. It was a 20-min install so not much invested here and it's not permanent. Nice to hear from you as always my friend!
So have you hard wired the rest of the wires in yet? How did you keep the snow off the 4wire flap that you talked about? I live in NY and don’t like how that door has to stay open when the lights are hooked up
Hey brother, great video I am originally from Montreal Canada. My name is Freddie I have a SR5 Toyota Tacoma, 2021. I’m actually doing the hardwire from the back underneath I have the strip light bar and have a three-way harness kit from the back now the only pre-stripped wire on the light bar is red I have everything I need I have the tap in clip I have the shrink rubber wrap what I need to know is from underneath and not from the tail light. Am I looking for red wire to Tap in our model Toyota Tacoma I believe 3rd GENERATION Toyota Tacoma SR5. From underneath when I tap in pre-strip red wire from the LED light strip What am I looking for underneath is that wire red
Do the reverse white lights actually help? I've been looking for a solution to reversing at night: I had recently installed new tail lights, but their reveres light is a bit dim and I wonder if this LED tailgate strip would sufficiently add enough light to make up for that
Hello, I am having trouble installing the same LED when it comes to hand wiring the reverse light. Is it possible to do it without a wire tap connector?
Hey Tyler... No complaints here! It's holding up really well. No change in structure/housing and the electrical components are functioning as expected. =)
I don't know about long term as I've only had it for 7 months but so far so good. No issues, still works, no dead LEDs so far and no signs of peeling either. I hope this helps and thanks for tuning in santhtorac!
Hey brother this is FREDDY I’m my install from underneath and not removing the reverse light by tapping into the wire underneath, but I am needing help for is looking for the wire will it be red
@@modXELA hey there well from the tail lamp reverse lap I see red but since so I’m doing it from the back underneath the bumper and my LED strip bar pre-strip wire is red, so I see a bunch of wires bunch together, very skinny and thin there is one that’s red and I added 3 inch cube lights and there is a red tape, wire digger on the skinny ones are a high seen when you get it from the tail lamps you tapped into the red now that I’m doing a cup underneath the back of the bumper and I am I looking for that red one but I don’t know if it’s the red one is very thin that are all bunch together or the more bigger one that’s red that leads from my 3 inch lights
@@modXELA from the tail lamp reversed wire is red and underneath the bumper and why is it a bunch together? Skinny red green white yellow maybe a orange where are all bunched together and skinny there is one Red thicker one that feeds from 3 in. Cube lights connector.
@@jetsbme1 it’s hard for me to tell if it’s the right one but because it’s thinner, my educated guess is that it is not the correct wire. One way to do it is by using a tester. Check for continuity from the red wire of the reverse light to the wire that you mentioned.

Sure, you can strip the wires and just wrap it directly. Some wire tap connectors are a little finicky.
Late questions but how did that side mirror from last year hold up ?

60 in fit on the Tacoma sport?
Nope, that’s a little long. You want the 48”

Double check the wiring on your 4-pin connector, maybe it got crossed. It shouldn’t do that as the wire for the reverse is independent.
