  • What’s up everybody? Today’s video is an install and overview of the MICTUNING Tailgate 60” LED light strip. This is a high quality, low cost modification that will increase your overall road safety by adding more lights for braking, daytime running, turn signals, and reverse. In addition, this light strip will make your ride look awesome too. Most light strips are $100-200 but this light strip is a great value at $40.

    Im wanting to put this exact one on my truck, its a 2021 Rebel and under the bottom of the tailgate, to the left center theres the cable housing for the tailgate wiring, and about 10 inches in from each side of the tailgate theres a raised bump about an inch square. So putting one of these on is proving to be a pain.

    • @Dhall-sg2hf
      @Dhall-sg2hf 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@cruzzindodge so I ended up cutting a strip of 3/8" lexan the same width and length of the light bar, and just cut out the section where the raised part was on my truck. pretty much just shimmed the led bar out away and over that raised section. I used a really strong 3M double sided tape and taped the lexan to the truck, then used the mounting screws and brackets to attach it to the lexan. been on about 2 years with no issues holding.

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m not sure, sounds like you hooked up to the wrong wire. With so many wires to sort through, it’s easy to use the wrong one. I would advise emailing the company you bought the light from and maybe they can give you a wire diagram for your specific vehicle.

  • @MisoJuice

    • @DieselLegiance
      @DieselLegiance  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Every truck is different. For some, the hole for the spare is in the bumper. Just adjust the position of the light strip above or below the hole. There is usually enough room to do this. On this truck (when I had it) I had a train horn where the spare was so I never used the spare in that location.
