Most real life working people in the West don't work such long hours, man. In fact, the average wake time in the US is about 7:20, and in many European countries it's closer to 8:00. I don't think Huberman's main points are unfeasible for the majority, except for the 60 minute workout in the middle of the morning. If you already work an active job as it looks like from your post, you probably don't need it as much as a sedentary individual anyway.
Hi, My understanding that cold showers may inhibit mptor. Required to create muscles resulting from your exercise. So switch the cold shower and workout. I do everything else like you but caffeine afterb10 as cortisol is highest at 8 am. Best.
He addresses this on a podcast and says you can use artificial light like a SAD lamp if you really have to. It's not ideal, but the sunlight is about regulating your circadian rhythm so can be done artificially.
I think Huberman has mentioned earlier that deliberate cold exposure shouldn't be done after workout, so not sure if some detail in sequence is missing.
Incorporating goal-setting and planning into your morning routine provides a dedicated time for reflection and strategic thinking, increasing the likelihood of achieving your short-term and long-term goals.
Love how this is not applicable to the real world. Get up and be at work by 7am, leave work at 6pm, then drive an hour and a half home. Eat, go to sleep, do it again. That is how the real world works. Not stay at home and do whatever you want.

Im up at 5.30 every morning for work at 7. No sunlight in Ireland in winter till at least 8.30, so sunlight i dont see until 3.30, when i leave to go home 😂. Ironically, i drink water, Well water (A pint glass), not tap water, first thing upon waking. No working out till about 4.15. Most days. Done my back in 3 weeks ago. Still not right, need to get back training before depression sets in. Been doing light pilates stretches twice a day and taking Ashwagandha for inflammation, then i meditate. All this to try heal my lower back, to get back active. God is good 🙌🏻
That’s the whole damn day
Bro…if he wakes up at 6am, he’s done with his routine, in full, by 9:30am.
Solid advice
I wake at 5..pee.. brush teeth go to work..WISHi had that much time😅
Get up at 4
@@MattBeckwith-ke5pi They have to pay him then for that!
That's advice good only for freelancer with no small kids
Getting up at 5 would be a luxury. I have to be at work by 5 am.

Amazing tips - can you share how to adapt for a family , dual working parent household?
I wake up (5:30-6:00) prepare my greens, reds, aminos, moringa blend. Take probotics (coconut cult) Go to the gym (2 hrs) . Then head to work while eating my protein bar (11am-12pm).
Where do u work? 😂 I want to apply
@@YannisHDo you enjoy your life?
I take piss as soon as I wake up at 1pm
Well any suggestions for employed people who leave their house before 6am?? 🤣🤣🤣
Quit the stupid job...
Yeah, wake up at 3am😅. Glhf
just get enough sleep I guess
@@iggytheNiggy where is sunlight at 3am?
@@mxd_009 i said that to have enough time to workout and do the cold shower, deep work. You cant get sunlight so best thing is artificial light until the sun comes up. Turn on all your lights in your room.
If youre willing you find a way. 😁 gl mate
Bro filmed his own stock footage. Respect!
Felt dreadful a little while ago. Tried it. Worked👍
I do remember him saying recently that sometimes he drinks coffee after 20 min of waking up when he trains early. That's the sign I needed ;)
I do similar to you but I don’t do it consistently that is the key 🔑
The 10-15 mins sun exposure at 06.30 hrs. That’s impossible in the winter in Scotland so how does this impact on the effects. Loved the video ❤️🏴
Ive heard him say that if you cant get natural sunlight, best things is get some artificial lights, on the brightest you can. Turn on all your lights in the room. Cheers mate
Thank you
What time he start work at? 2 in the afternoon???
How did you come to that conclusion? Wakes up at 630, goes for 15 min walk and then does 90 minute bout of work. He didn't say he doesn't start work till after eating. All that, including the exercise is before he eats.
@@ronaldthompson474 Sarcasm buddy…you better learn it or life will be pretty tough for you.
Is ag1 really compatible with fasting? It's got 6g of carb and 50 calories per serving. My glucose level on cgm goes elevated upon drinking. My problem with ag1 was that the elevated level of glucose level was sustained for a long duration. Which could be a good thing or bad thing depending on who you are and the timing of consumption. But, my point is that, it certainly broke fasting, at least in my case
Great advice
Definitely!
"My athletic greens that are compatible with fasting" What a completely ridiculous statement..
Awesome bro the rest of us actually have to work for a living.
He definitely does more work than you do 😂
@@weirdflex8158 Right, as if you know me or what I do. He should do a study on how his semen affects your brain because I think you are getting too much.
I am curious as to what makes Athletic Greens okay to drink while fasting ?
I need my coffee first thing in the morning
yyaaaaaaaaaa.......... no ya don't
Dude is blessed with a SHORT day!!
Obviously you don't do this EXACT routine. You adjust it to your schedule and life.
❤trying to do some of it, thank you
I've lost 100 pounds following this everyday
Hi what's the athletic green drink he mentions that is compatible with fasting?thanks!
6:30, you’re a lightweight. I’m up around 2:30……trucking
Wake up, scroll TH-cam shorts for an hour...
I'm ready for my day
I'm up at 330am. pre-workout down, gym at 4 am, home at 5am shower leave house at 530am wawa coffee. 6am start my 12 hours in a busy NYC ER. I'm an RN.
What working people do.
What time do you go to sleep? 9pm?
Nice Routine. Little adjustments so it fits my day. I gotta work so i get up at 4:30 so I'm done by 6:50 and ready for work. I cut out the 90 minutes because I don't work from home, added 20 Minutes of Reading. Never took my coffees 2 hours after getting up. That's something to work on for me I couldn't say no 😅
99.5 % of working people can't do that 😂
Only if you work from home
@@PlanttPlan Not even, I work from home 50% of the time, but I can't clock in for 90 Minutes and then piss off for the next 1.5 hours, that's not how work works
@@BalasielVOD😂
I agree but I think those of us who work/work from home can do the routine in a slightly different order.
@8thaccount321 you mean as you're doing right now? I get up at 4 am every morning, what about you? :)
Can you give tips on how you control your bladder that long?
Step 1: Don’t be old.
Seriously though, I’m sure as you age, you make adjustments.
Can’t wait to find my Huberman Husband 😌

Where can I find this video about Huberman telling his morning routine?
😂😂😂😂😂
Hahaha only on TH-cam !
I wake up at 5.30am .
Get to site at around 6.30am .
First break at 10am .
Second break - no time for it carry on and hurry up concrete is coming .
Finish work anytime between 6.30pm and 7.30pm .
Get home , not after 8pm so I can shower my kids and spend some time with them .
Get paperwork done , update plan for tomorrow. Check up on tomorrow's Get it done if anything missing .
Time for gym or maybe not depends on how tired I get .
Go to sleep at around 10pm and 12pm depends if anything needs fixing around the house .
This is real life people not TH-cam dreaming for people that have Noone to look after them .
6 days a week ...
Hi,
My understanding that cold showers may inhibit mptor. Required to create muscles resulting from your exercise. So switch the cold shower and workout. I do everything else like you but caffeine afterb10 as cortisol is highest at 8 am. Best.
Wow! That's a lot.I always piss first thing.
Can you please tell me in which Huberman Lab podcast episode he was talking about this? ☺️
If I had to base my day around the sun, I'd need to rise past noon in winter...
He addresses this on a podcast and says you can use artificial light like a SAD lamp if you really have to. It's not ideal, but the sunlight is about regulating your circadian rhythm so can be done artificially.
Just went outside I'm in the UK its dark and cold. Got to love getting that sunlight. What exactly do any of these things actually achieve?
How do you fit your wife and kids in this routine?
What is there to fit? They will look for themselves.
I think Huberman has mentioned earlier that deliberate cold exposure shouldn't be done after workout, so not sure if some detail in sequence is missing.
finally all the good info in a short vid, not his 2 hour slugfests. good man though.
🤣
Interested. Thanks.
Yup. Sure. Then off camera, he does what 99.99% of all the other humans do when they wake up in the morning.
Incorporating goal-setting and planning into your morning routine provides a dedicated time for reflection and strategic thinking, increasing the likelihood of achieving your short-term and long-term goals.
Yeah. I am going to do any of that, but good for you.
What do i do after? Whats the diet? Full routine needed!!
Well that is blessed lifestyle.
What’s the full podcast called please?
Love how this is not applicable to the real world. Get up and be at work by 7am, leave work at 6pm, then drive an hour and a half home. Eat, go to sleep, do it again.
That is how the real world works. Not stay at home and do whatever you want.
Depends what type of work you do lil bro don't be taking about "not how the world works" it does work this way for some study's and jobs including his
People here think you gotta give up working, the purpose is to support your health and livelihood. It is true that very rarely the body quits its the mind
So did anyone else notice that this dude works only 90 mins a day?
90 minute blocks at a time, multiple sessions of that each day
Its the Morning routine, not the full day routine..
I have already been at work for an hour by the time he wakes up
“If only that 9 to 5 weren’t in the way with the 2nd job after, for most Americans”
Love huberman but this info just validated Americas unhealthy romance with corporate slavery steals our health. We could do better as smaller communities without the current abominable levels of exploitation to the point children are now dying in poultry factories, just to help families pay bills. Yet, “richest country” please. It’s a cover statement representing an abhorrent fee creating this hell where I can’t even walk outside and enjoy sunlight , or participate in what new science tells us contributes to healthy lifestyles. Not to mention the unavoidable stress life here (paying and collecting paperwork to do a math problem to pay taxes when europe does it free?? How bout not paying for burials as do 1st world countries elsewhere?! Nevermind our security robbed, no pensions and avg 401k is no where NEAR adequate. Plus the stress & added housing insecurity college debt put us thru.
I’m the comment no one asked for but “I WISHHHH” my day went like this. Why were colleges allowed to advertise signs of “average pay per degree received” which turned out to be a farce for so many of us?! So many intellects I’ve watched discarded over last 2 decades.
As of there was time for most of us to do this!?!
Guys pls suggest, That we should not take cold water bath after workout bcz Iam Skinny can I lose my gains? And did he mentioned that we should not eat after wake up till 11 am?
Here it's pitch black outside until like 9am in the morning during winter...
So for those who work early.
Wake up to natural sunlight or the best you can get. Drink a glass of slightly salty water before work. Have coffee on lunch.
Is a fasted workout good ?
Is it neurologically recomended to wake up at 4:00 am for working out till 6:00 am? I do that 6 days per week.
This is the first video ive watched today snd im allready drinking coffee
