Bored Hunter cutscenes? One wave of ryoma's sword and all the torches (even the ones reaching you) lit up. He waves it again and flames erupt from them. I can tell that both of them arent trying to harm you in showing off their swords, though.
I think he even mentions in the JP My Room skinship lines that his hair is his most prized possession. -That line is literally the only reason I ever got upset about skinship disappearing-

I only liked hinocopter, sa-sa-sakura, the peaceful and graceful xander and cataclysm leo FiyahRyoma looks cool visually but the lines feel so fake, just like Elihahase with a laugh faker than my social life, mia kamila one feels like "personal space please" and Takumi Uchiha is a cliche of "my parents died and I hate life so I am going to kill you"
I mean, it helps that cinematic cutscenes for the 3DS games are pre-rendered, instead of something the games have to render in real-time, because that's definitely asking too much for the 3DS's hardware.
It's to show the player that it's not Takumi tapping into evil power, but rather someone taking him over. Notice that the eye color is different between each scene he's in.

Cyrus Arisa (yes I'm super late lol) Fire Emblem Fates is like watered down Naruto Shippuden in some if not many aspects. Conquest is like Naruto in which you play as an Itachi of sorts and side with the darkness in hopes of turning around the very darkness you sided with. Birthright is when you start becoming self righteous because you think (no apparently you KNOW) you chose the right side like Naruto except Naruto was actually right in his situations because he was taught better unlike Corrin. Revelations is also like Naruto but play more as a late Shippuden Sasuke/Naruto mix that carves their own path whether they walk in what others perceive as darkness or light or hatred or love he only wants the truth and in Revelations Corrin does exactly that except goes about it differently because of different situation to unite both families. The only real differences here is the setting and the fact that Naruto plays separate sides simultaneously indifferently whereas the side you choose totally affects the entire story in Fire Emblem Fates (thus why it is called fates).
Misaki Anime Gamer I married him in Revelations, but seeing his Conquest scene makes me piss myself from laughter. I first heard that line in the English dub trailer and I called him The Guy That's Trying Way Too Hard To Sound Edgy. Now that nickname has stuck and will never leave
I think Leo's scene was my personal favorite. It was so _fitting_ and the atmosphere was amazing. Ryoma's actually bored me in comparison, and don't even get me started on Camilla's. (Ryoma's was pretty cool, but didn't make me feel much except 'oh')
We're not giving Xander here enough credit. Sure, Ryoma sets the torches on fire, but that's from swinging his blade that had electricity coming out of it, meanwhile the very unsheathing of Seigfried caused dark sonic waves, shaking the very room he was in. He didn't even need to take it out all the way to show power if taking out less than a quarter of it already did something. Just bang the sword against the columns and take the entire castle down, but have a escape just for you.
We all know this line of Leo is in game just so that IS can justify pervert players marrying Elise their first playthrough (I say first because eventuell we have to marry her to unlock all S supports and children supports).

Koala 911 My first FE game was Birthright, so I had no idea what I was doing. It was pretty easy at first but I got near the end and everything started to get more difficult for me, so I was very intimidated getting to Xander. I was so scared that I ended making Saizo unlock the room, moving Ryoma into the room, and then making Azura give him a second turn to kill Dander for me. He did. I played through Birthright a second time and told myself I wasn't gonna chicken out because I knew more about the game and ended up killing Xander within two turns, not realizing that he was so easy.
The thing with Xander in his final battle is that after killing Elise he maybe is just so heartbroken about everything he had to live through, that he willingly didn’t make it too hard for Corrin to kill him. It was also said in the dialogue after defeating Xander. And in the Routes with Xander as an ally, there is a support with Xander and Nxy where he confesses that he also thought about suicide because he had to kill so many people. No wonder he just wants to quit after all the thing that happened during Birthright.
Same, I was so disappointed I was ready for a big battle too :( A lot of the final maps in Birthright ended up being 1-2 turn jobs if you just did the objective rather than trying to off everyone on the map. Kinda annoying :/

Xander wasn't intimidating? Dude, simply drawing his sword made the support pillars of the room shake and begin to crumble. That's a hell of a lot more intimidating than Ryoma's swings growing flames that were already lit.
@@marticus1642 Boring, maybe, but the original point that I was countering was that it wasn't intimidating. And frankly, if you're actually paying attention to what's happening around them, Xander's power display is WAY more intimidating than Ryoma's.
Elise: Annoyingly giggly, but better than her getting cut down by Xander I suppose. Conquest makes her seem kinda strange but w/e. Leo: Spoopy, spoopy Leo. God you're terrifying. But he sounds less hurt and pained and more pissed off. Kinda offsetting, and makes it hard to empathize. Camilla: Psychotic fanservice, I see. Wonderful, it's fucking Yuno Gasai all over again. But, like Leo, it feels less like you betrayed her; more like you went on a trip. This emphasizes her insanity, and how obvious it is that she and Leo seem used to losing loved ones. Xander: Ahahahaha. Ahahaha. Ahaa... Oh, Xander. You're easily the one I feel less terrified and more heartbroken about. You've done everything for me, and tried so hard, and seem visibly depressed and broken, because you fake being strong, when you're really quite soft. My heart always catches at this scene. Sakura: Oh hey look at that-- *Sakura giggles, initiating Cupid's arrow through my heart* Takumi: I always, ALWAYS cry when hearing his tone. He sounds so visibly HEARTBROKEN. Despite everything, he was just hoping, praying, desperately WISHING that you would be able to be a good big sibling who he didn't feel inferior towards for once. Who he could relate to. And now he's possessed by an Ancient Dragon, and it just breaks my heart seeing him. Hinoka: Like the Nohrians, she seems harder to empathize with. She seems more determined to end you than to recover you, like Leo. Hard to accept this, since apparently she's spent a lot of time trying to save you. Kinda seems a bit like an under-developed character, but perhaps she's just too bottled up. Ryoma: Like Xander, he's been strong for too long. It breaks my heart seeing him, because I know it was his biggest dream to save you, because it was something he felt he owed to Mikoto. And then, you betray your family. Very gut-wrenching. BUTSERIOUSLYRYOMASTOPSETTINGSHITONFIREYOUOVERGROWNPRAWN-
We have different opinions on Elise and Sakura, i really don't like Sakura, she's just... the shy naive girl to me. Elise, on this other hand, always make me smile and wanna protect her. I feel the same for Ryoma and Xander, the first time i saw the Takumi cutscene in Conquest, i was like ''Meh'' then i played the game tu it's end and i was ''Oh... Baby boy, i'm so sad now..." then i played Fates, and now i'm always crying when i see his cutscene
That's when you realize that if that was not a game with HP, Res, Mag, etc... Leo would have kill them all with his powers. He can destroy a cimetery with his magic. He mus have kill Garon with no problem.

I literally can't take Takumi's scene seriously. I first heard that line in the trailer for the English dub, and what I got out of it was, "I'M TRYING SO HARD TO SOUND EDGY." and now I laugh whenever I see that scene. But for real I love Takumi. Literally married him on my Revelations run.
Ryoma makes fire jump and Takumi get's some pretty lights, meanwhile Leo breaks up the surrounding area by drawing on his magic and Xander makes the room quake and even begin to chip away just by drawing his sword. I feel like one set of brothers is more intimidating then the other.
Something about it is really bizarre to me when compared to Hinoka's. Camila's cutscene is a mix of both ominously quiet and sensual, while Hinoka is all cool and flashy.
Unless she always had a kink for dragons or something, the cutscene is a little too sensual for someone who wants to be your sibling. Something is very wrong about that. Idk, if she initially thought you were a stranger (she'd still look like she's trying to seduce you, but atleast I't be far more natural) it would make more sense, but as a sibling, that's abit messed up.
+Andre Thomas Naw, Ryoma's fight was a bit more difficult than Xander's. Because Xander was holding back, I finished him in 2 turns easily. With Ryoma you have to try harder because he didn't kill his own sister to be shook with so much guilt he couldn't attack you seriously.
I literally only played the Hoshidan path to experience it, and not because it was my preferred choice. It physically hurts me to watch the Vs. Cutscenes and read the battle dialogue of Leo, Camilla and Xander.

Cyrus Arisa (yes I'm super late lol) Fire Emblem Fates is like watered down Naruto Shippuden in some if not many aspects. Conquest is like Naruto in which you play as an Itachi of sorts and side with the darkness in hopes of turning around the very darkness you sided with. Birthright is when you start becoming self righteous because you think (no apparently you KNOW) you chose the right side like Naruto except Naruto was actually right in his situations because he was taught better unlike Corrin. Revelations is also like Naruto but play more as a late Shippuden Sasuke/Naruto mix that carves their own path whether they walk in what others perceive as darkness or light or hatred or love he only wants the truth and in Revelations Corrin does exactly that except goes about it differently because of different situation to unite both families. The only real differences here is the setting and the fact that Naruto plays separate sides simultaneously indifferently whereas the side you choose totally affects the entire story in Fire Emblem Fates (thus why it is called fates).

I think Leo's scene was my personal favorite. It was so _fitting_ and the atmosphere was amazing. Ryoma's actually bored me in comparison, and don't even get me started on Camilla's.

We're not giving Xander here enough credit. Sure, Ryoma sets the torches on fire, but that's from swinging his blade that had electricity coming out of it, meanwhile the very unsheathing of Seigfried caused dark sonic waves, shaking the very room he was in. He didn't even need to take it out all the way to show power if taking out less than a quarter of it already did something. Just bang the sword against the columns and take the entire castle down, but have a escape just for you.

In my birthright playthrough I expected Xander's battle to be super hard, then my avatar crit twice and killed him in one turn ._.

Koala 911 My first FE game was Birthright, so I had no idea what I was doing. It was pretty easy at first but I got near the end and everything started to get more difficult for me, so I was very intimidated getting to Xander. I was so scared that I ended making Saizo unlock the room, moving Ryoma into the room, and then making Azura give him a second turn to kill Dander for me. He did. I played through Birthright a second time and told myself I wasn't gonna chicken out because I knew more about the game and ended up killing Xander within two turns, not realizing that he was so easy.
The thing with Xander in his final battle is that after killing Elise he maybe is just so heartbroken about everything he had to live through, that he willingly didn’t make it too hard for Corrin to kill him. It was also said in the dialogue after defeating Xander. And in the Routes with Xander as an ally, there is a support with Xander and Nxy where he confesses that he also thought about suicide because he had to kill so many people. No wonder he just wants to quit after all the thing that happened during Birthright.

A lot of the final maps in Birthright ended up being 1-2 turn jobs if you just did the objective rather than trying to off everyone on the map. Kinda annoying :/

Camilla: Psychotic fanservice, I see. Wonderful, it's fucking Yuno Gasai all over again. But, like Leo, it feels less like you betrayed her; more like you went on a trip. This emphasizes her insanity, and how obvious it is that she and Leo seem used to losing loved ones.
Xander: Ahahahaha. Ahahaha. Ahaa... Oh, Xander. You're easily the one I feel less terrified and more heartbroken about. You've done everything for me, and tried so hard, and seem visibly depressed and broken, because you fake being strong, when you're really quite soft. My heart always catches at this scene.

Takumi: I always, ALWAYS cry when hearing his tone. He sounds so visibly HEARTBROKEN. Despite everything, he was just hoping, praying, desperately WISHING that you would be able to be a good big sibling who he didn't feel inferior towards for once. Who he could relate to. And now he's possessed by an Ancient Dragon, and it just breaks my heart seeing him.
Hinoka: Like the Nohrians, she seems harder to empathize with. She seems more determined to end you than to recover you, like Leo. Hard to accept this, since apparently she's spent a lot of time trying to save you. Kinda seems a bit like an under-developed character, but perhaps she's just too bottled up.
Ryoma: Like Xander, he's been strong for too long. It breaks my heart seeing him, because I know it was his biggest dream to save you, because it was something he felt he owed to Mikoto. And then, you betray your family. Very gut-wrenching. BUTSERIOUSLYRYOMASTOPSETTINGSHITONFIREYOUOVERGROWNPRAWN-
