Nothing new, I did this all the time on my 760 Wave Raider at Caloundra bar back in late 90's. I also surfed back in the 60's all the way up the NSW east coast & Crescent Head was a favourite on a 7'6" malibu. Surfing is what life is all about!

How easy is it to retrofit the boat collars onto fiberglass boats, seeing many dinghies sold are made of fiberglass here?
