The safety alone is the biggest reason for me.
@@JoeOceanside BOTE is not reliable for air leaks...I've whacked my other inflatable SUP by Tower with a machete and beat the hell out of it for 10 years before it finally died to overheating and having the epoxy melt after leaving it out. Container but Curved Corners From Outside. I heard 1 Container Can Be RM5000 = ~$1700. I think if Sell These With The Company: "Prodigy Boat"(Beside Each Other) is a Nice Match and Attraction of Customers for Each Other.
The kayak is cool buy my concern is that folding rigid plastic on a seam comes with a limited lifespan. It is just the nature of the material. Unless they’ve developed and stress tested some kind of proprietary material I’m very skeptical of the longevity of that design.
The last item. Why not put a wireless transducer in the boat with an app on your phone to use as the fish finder screen so you know where to drop the bait? I had a provisional patent on the RC boat, wireless fish finder idea 10 years ago hoping that I could get enough funds to build a prototype and get the patent on the idea. Sadly it never happened. I first thought of the idea in 1997.

The only problem with a Franken anything, is you end up with a lot of mediocre things, instead of one great thing. The hand off can be worth it though.
I have both, the inflatable is much more durable, bounces off things, doesn't get scratched or scratch other boats I come up next too. I'm constantly worried about scratching/gouging my fiberglass one.

So many of these companies are capitalizing on WASTE. Nothing is reusable and easily losable. Rubber inflatable? A camera attached to a line? The only thing that I think is pretty legit is the foldable kayak, thats truly portable.

Those double hull paddle boards need to be able to be wider apart. More stability
