@@ftxracha9771 we def can, but they usually always cut the harness off and leave maybe an inch or less of wire on the harness side, which just makes it a bitch to try and reattach that. Especially when there are multiple wires, hard to sit there and maneuver the wires when you already have some repaired and have less than an inch to try and solder or crimp. If they are smart and cut 6 inches off than yeah its not hard, but if they are dumb enough to molest the harness, then they usually arent smart enough to leave enough wire to reconnect

Hello so when I use my aftermarket screen on my mustang the car better drains when I don’t have the engine on and I have to jump start the car so I was wondering if I use the screen while the engine is on will it still drain the battery or not because I like to Listen to music while on my break at work?
It will drain the battery as long as it's on but the cars engine running recharges everything so as long as the cars on you won't have problems with the battery dieing
It doesn’t matter as long as you don’t make a mistake. If you disconnect the positive first and any metal happens to contact the metal in the chassis, then the wrench will get red hot, lots of amps will run through it. As long as you don’t though, your alright. That why it’s advised to do negative first to take off, then positive first to put on, generally speaking
So i tried installing my after market radio in my silverado but it wont power at all, i reinstalled the stock stereo and it works perfectly fine. Any ideas?
Hey I bought a Dual Electronics XVM279BT today for my 1998 Toyota Camry. Got another factory harness to connect to the aftermarket but there is no sound. The sound wires have nowhere to connect. What should I do? There is power to it just no sound.
@@jessielewis8165 do you have somewhere I can contact you to show you ? The harness adapter I have is for a Toyota. But it doesn’t have the green and purple to connect with wires from the aftermarket stereo
@@kobebrooks1760 you need the metra 70-1761 wiring harness. The harness is technically two separate plugs and the second plug has your two green and two purple wires

Exactly bruh and make sure you charge more too. I charge a radio install and hardwire install because it's definitely more work🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Sounds like you got the wrong harness or not all the pieces. What you mean about the sound wires have nowhere to connect. More information needed.
