Best Feature I'm looking forward to: MAPS!!

Most anticipated feature I’m looking forward to experience is server meshing. This feature is so important for the life of this game.
On a side note I would love to see VR make its way back as a feature. Picture this you flying your favorite ship with a vr headset and a Hotas set. ❤

Great video! I want to see cargo elevators make it in. Happy to see the new starmap coming along also.

Agreed. New Versions of the Launcher have always come before a major patch.

The last time I played AC on the atmo map I got a shock when I went into Nav Mode and couldn't do more than about 280 m/s in a Vanguard. Nobody is scaping anything at that speed lol. If it doesn't change I can see the majority of piracy action happening in atmo.

That's the Origin 400i, not sure which paint it is though, in stock configuration the hull is white

Those complaining about Master Modes are mostly a vocal-minority of 'Top-Tier' players upset that they'll be less _special_ .
Master Modes (at least in current config) likely isn't the final flight model; it's just a step towards the intent outlined by CIG from the beginning: _Star_ _Wars_ / 'WWII in space.' It's not necessarily going to be great from the beginning, but it will improve over time.
If you enjoyed _Star_ _Citizen_ before, there's no reason to dislike it due to MM. The prev flight model _never_ resembled what Chris Roberts described/wanted. That was made clear with the original announcement as well as _every_ trailer we've seen since.

I hate the idea of master modes. The skill ceiling is so high because it's hard to balance your power and movement at the same time. But why not simply make it so turrets don't have to be manned on larger ships? A hurricane should always destroy a razer. Aim should not be an issue at all when you can travel at light speeds. Even pilots right now can target aircraft omni-directionally and just unload weapons.
Rather than shrinking the combat area, just make larger ships more effective at longer ranges. Don't make them miss as much. It's so easy. You don't have to change anything.

Remove access to Local Inventory... this sentence alone shows how the backer doesn't understand what's going on here. Star Citizen is a PES game, whereby every-thing should be physicalised. You shouldn't be MAGICKing virtual items from a nearby place into your usables. This is insane. CIG have stated there is no SPAWNING TECH in the game i.e. a way to generate physical items using an atom-ic building feature. When a ship is 'delivered' it is assumed to be ALREADY AT THE STATION and is merely transferred from THE GARAGE to the FORECOURT where you pick it up. CIG have to be careful that PES isn't abused... and my personal favourite of this rule is WHEN YOU LOG OUT your body should remain in the 'verse, inside the ship you logged out it... then it becomes a matter of Properly Hiding your ship as part of online gameplay.

They're going to have to split the diff in _some_ aspects in order to make the game _fun_ . What and how much is yet to be seen.

Because of the nerfing to almost every single fucking ship that isn't a light fighter, Master Modes is a colossal fucking cluster fuck of a failure. I have a fleet of around 20 ships. In master modes, my Freelancer MIS, being my Kickstarter ship, is old enough that it's ok. My second ship, my 325a, is an interceptor, which is apparently the absolutely broken meta in MM. But _all of my other fucking ships_ have been nerfed to the point of being _un-fucking-fun_ to fly. In a game whose #1 feature is flying space ships. Everything else is secondary. I don't give two shits if Master Modes makes PVP more fun in light fighters. At all. But the fact that they fucked all of my other ships for the sake of making the light fighters "more fun"? Fuck that.

Relax and let CIG tool with it for a while. The prev flight model was never their intent.

Master modes is great, I bathe in the tears of pvp bros. Space combat should be based on strategy, preperation, counter equipment, communication and multicrew. Those pvp bros only play SC to feel superiour, like as if it's some sort of d#ck mesuring contest. It's not and shouldn't be so master modes is pretty great and it was inevetible based on the initial promises about ship to ship combat.

      Exactly!
A handful of people practiced perfecting a skill in an unintended, complex flight model with a steep learning curve. Now, they're realizing it was all for naught.
They fail to recognize that while they're getting their *dopamine* hit from 'being the best,' the rest of us can't find fun in the extreme level of commitment necessary to be even _remotely_ comparable in skill. We play games as an escape; it's not our occupation.
