Gotta wonder if small stations will be thing in more remote less supply rich areas. I like the small platform thing. But it's supposed to get swallowed up? Being able to branch out as well as up could be good.
Makes sense. Assuming a station is in a region that doesn't have a rich supply area its likely not going to expand as much as say one on a major trading hub and or resource rich area. However that doesn't mean it can never expand. It just depends on say situation. Say that the station is in strategic important area but has no real resources but serves as a gateway to important regions. Its likely going to get supplies and or similar to bulk up defense and be a refueling station or perhaps used as a military or security base to ensure that area doesn't get capitalized by another faction or rouge elements. One could be built up over time in a area that serves no purpose other than maybe exploration or maybe to encourage perhaps trade in a region. Even if the area of resource poor and not in a major space lane you could setup up shop that allows traders to maybe sell and buy at a new location essentially creating a potentially new trading area that could expand. add to the fact that as a location for exploration ships to refuel and launch from you have the potential for a base even in a poor system to suddenly become a powerful entity.
Maybe better to look towards asteroid derelicts for me then. I guess I'm just odd not constantly having a need to expand and grow for its own sake. This doesn't really cover something like an old gas station on route 66 but, I hope on.
If 1.0 is getting all of this stuff polished, stable, reasonably bug free, and reasonably accessible to brand new players, then I would put it at 4 years as an absolute minimum. All all the base building stuff looks massively complicated, it'll take them ages to get this too and acceptably playable state.

It was pretty obvious from them using feature complete that it still had a while to go. Another giveaway that it wasn't close to release was that they didn't start going all in on a marketing campaign for it outside of the SC community.

Problem with Star citzen it's trying to be a full time job. Now adays only streamers have the privilege to play games 8 hours+ adults dont have time to grind ingame so wil always lagg behind progress.
It will take the fun out of it.
Sooo, people will be paying money to work a virtual job? 😂
I am allready under the ground by then....🙃

SCAM CITIBOI IS BACK AT IT
damn dawg why you breathing so hard
This will never make it into the game
Why all the haters?? If you do not like the game log off and go somewhere else. -> Planet Coaster 2 is coming out so do that!!!!
The only way negative criticisms could possibly hurt this game is if its in fact not good
Not haters just observers that notice the game will never be what it sets out to be.
Wen for PS5? Or doesnt run on it ......
You'll have to wait for the PS7 😂
Believe it or not this is all 1.0, but when is 1.0, probably in 2 years minimum or max 6 years
No, maybe 10 to 20 years
If 1.0 is getting all of this stuff polished, stable, reasonably bug free, and reasonably accessible to brand new players, then I would put it at 4 years as an absolute minimum. All all the base building stuff looks massively complicated, it'll take them ages to get this too and acceptably playable state.
Personally glad they gave no date
Hopeful with those estimations... I'd say 12 years minimum
...and BASE blueprint for only 2000$ ;)
Why the hell am I hearing someone nose breathing
why would i wanna build a prefab spacestation?
Its not? You can choose what wings you have, decoate the interior, Choose which rooms to put in the interior.. so uhh yeah not exactly pre-fab... not that we'll see it for.. a while but yeah.
@@kyoko4651 prefab with customizable interior, is still a prefab
@@tofupanda8168 becase it will probably be damn near impossible to build your full on own space station in game like handcrafted

just imagine NYC port having 1-2 docks for all shps....
mmmmmm....Org Wars
But ships armor compartment still wont work lmao
armor isnt ingame just yet, it wil be in 4.0
look they should allow us modders to mod the game with our own dedicated servers so we can provide a real experience for roleplaying in starcitizen
just like how its now with fivem even if not legally done in the beginning but look now biggest player base in the world because of that
Curious question: what is fivem?
Agh. Private servers were a Kickstarter reward. That went out the window quick though. 😢
@@19iason19It's a unique multiplayer framework for GTA 5 that lets people basically have modded servers where they can have their own roleplay systems
Hah no
why is there breathing the whole time? lmao
No such thing as endgame exists in online mmo games. You should tittle the video, what will guild mechanics look like.
this aint ever gon happen lol
its already past concept and already in greybox meaning well at least get something next year
@@aronhayse9895 Yup. They basically said it needs the Pioneer, and John Crewe said they are starting the Pioneer next week.
Dumb people have said that for every major thing that has come out for SC
you ahve got to be kidding me
It's silly.
Why?
My end game is destroying org bases.
And how are you going to mount such an attack? You will need a lot of prep and then when you fail how are you going to repair all your stuff?
*more heavy breathing*
Just imagine how orbits of planets will be clusterfucked by "one-guy-organization-stations".
Maelstrom will introduce a decay system; items will become derelict. If there are one-guy-org-stations littering up space that aren't maintained, you can believe salvage orgs will sweep in to start dismantling it and scraping it for for parts.
Red hereing and a moot point. They cant even get the persistant universe to not constantly get worse in real time but now get end game org BUILDING gameplay loop and crafting space ships? At this point the lie is so big it cant even be argued against anymore because its implications are so far removed from basic reality
@@Dulc3B00kbyBrant0n thats true, im 100% with you, but lets just assume they are able to deliver. How would this differ from your casual ARK,OnceHuman,Rust etc. Server experience, where "one-man-bases" are scattered around ? Topics like offline-protection, decay and raidability will be thing. And none of the present solutions from other games is realy satisfying.
The station build and maintainance will be SO DAMN EXPENSIVE and hard, that no one in their entire life will be ever able to build a space station solo. Only the largest orgs can.
Very cool but we qont see this for at least 4 to 5 years maybe even 6.. i mean sq 42 a year ago was content complete and its going to take cig a total 2 probably 3 years to polish a content complete game which is absolutely fkn ridiculous for a game that Chris Roberts said was 25 to 30 hours long so dont expect this anytime soon whatsoever
They said it was feature complete last year, not content complete. That was a mistake on their part though, they should have explained what the distinction was between the two. It was pretty obvious from them using feature complete that it still had a while to go. Another giveaway that it wasn't close to release was that they didn't start going all in on a marketing campaign for it outside of the SC community.
@@Henry8VIII8Yeah I think the fact that they show off so much of their tech and content makes people think these updates and releases are closer than they are. It's shown to keep people investing in the game, it's like having an investor call in a way. To basically show that the money is going somewhere even if it's not ready to release yet
90%de todo lo del video nunca va a salir, 15 años mintiendo 😊
This game and scam from 2012 only for torrents maybe play. MR Roberts good know what do . Greats from chicks players from years
Scam Shitizen from Clown Emperium Games!
Yawn🥱
I think they need to ease up on these cloud formations - yes they are cool, but they are also kind of making the planet itself look really small in comparison... We definately don't want a NMS looking planet... I'd rather have clouds that don't reach up so high, than having this view which is just not realistic.
I bet you count the peas on your plate and inspect each one at restaurants....
