I'm only 1 minute in and already blown away... Wonderful cinematography
Ur a legend in this too 😉
IO love watching both your reviews. Farrister for the silky butter voice, Morpho for the interesting viewpoint
YESS! It broke my mind too!!
Srsly, morphologis cinematography is some of the best
Agreed a great job well done
Not only is it bigger than a 737, all of its doors are also still attached to the fuselage.
This is very true, a clear advantage to the 737 max
It's a 737 in size but in that video it rolls and twitches like a hummingbird after seven cups of coffee. They need to give those bigger ships some weight and inertia. They can always compensate by making them tougher. The shape is lovely though.
@@dannywastaken it's aerodynamic and generates way more thrust I completely disagree
@dannywastaken in the SC ship scale this isn't a big ship, and it's weaker than other options in its weight class, so there has to be a reason for it to exist. And that is supreme maneuverability
I really love how each brand in game has such distinct design language.
And that no matter how many ships each brand adds, it's almost impossible to mistake one for another :D
I want the ship for two reasons. One : it comes with the Game 🤣 Two : Crusader is my favourite ship maker. I remember saying this to a Star Citizen French streamer, WaterPatate, if I had to use only one ship maker in the game, it would be Crusader. The C2 Hercules was my favourite ship in the game until this very C1 Spirit. So, I'll finally have the game +and on top of that, my favorite ship.
Sorry to disappoint, definitely doesn’t come with the game, you can upgrade the ship you get from a game package to the c1 though, but it costs a bit of money
The C1 would be the absolute perfect upgrade for my starter Titan. I love relaxing and doing small cargo missions around the verse, it’s a great way to see the system and I like to role play as an old more jaded space trucker (he was a combat pilot until his back gave out). Maybe this comfy cruiser would save his aching back.
It's an awesome ship for what it is. I upgraded from a 315p.
I used to be an adventurer too, until I took a bullet in the knee.
It doesn’t feel as small as you’d expect. I have an MSR, and I thought it would feel smaller in comparison to that, but it surprisingly doesn’t. Could just be me, especially since I play with a mouse.
The flight model is flippen joke...
@@taccntb4345 You wan't to dogfight innit or what? 😂
I think it'd be really nice to have a ship like this for a mainly solo player, where you don't feel like you are wasting a ship but also be capable to comfortably bring someone else along for the few instances two people are needed. Also the ship is gorgeous both inside and out.
Definitely. It's wgat I'm going to upgrade to when buying my pack.
only the dumb toilet door can decapitate you if you're not careful
Your cinematography is amazing!
I first got Star Citizen about a year ago and became obsessed, though slowed down after a few wipes. This game might be the most amazing projects I have seen, and I am so happy that I have been lucky enough to be part of it.
That's exactly how I felt after my first year of following the project. Of course, that was ten years ago.
Morph, the architect's reviews are your strongest video category and your USP. Good work! As you release this video now, you should have mentioned the changes that will happen in 3.23. The C1 is not strong anymore and the Cutty Black is back in charge.
There are 3 things that could have made the Spirit ships better than what we got WITHOUT major changes and adding of another shield generator.
1. Move ALL the components to the back (Except avionics/radar/computer), freeing up the "Airlock" neck from the Living habs to the module bay so we can place the suit lockers and weapons in there instead on in the living habs.
2. Where the suit lockers and weapon racks once was, place an exit ladder airlock, as there is enough space to put this in there, both on the inside and outside.
3. Allow all variants to carry 4-8 SCU in the back of the ship, as the back is big enough to hold up to that amount in box size (Tested with both 2x 2scu boxes and 1x 8 SCU box), AND will put it higher on the list vs its competition who can all carry cargo despite its variant (Except the Cutlass STEAL, but we dont talk about that one).
Other than that, the ship is pretty great, and a huge step up from the absolute failure of an delivered ship that is the Mercury Star Runner.
It lacks a tiny bit in speed in atmosphere (also in 3.23), but thats cause the ship isnt aerodynamic. 400i is tho, which is why it is faster despite being heavier and with weaker thrusters.
Personally, I am a fan of it's current layout. But that's just my opinion.
There is one simple change I would make, for the clearance light for the ramp to come on when the landing gear is deployed, it is kind of useless to only come on when you go to put down the door, it should still flash when the door is in motion, but the solid, thin red line should be lit upon deployment of landing gear
I do agree the components could have been rearranged to make a bit more room. I'd put an escape ladder/airlock in that middle airlock room with the suits/weapons just in case you need to EVA from the ship to prosecute external intruders without having to open up the main back door. I don't think we need a grid in the back because that would block the exit and really wouldn't make sense IMO. What they could do is carve out a little space on either side just into the wings to put a row of 4 or 5 1 SCU boxes in there. Still do think another shield is needed.
C1 = 29k in Cargo runs on good profit
C1 = Room for 1 small vehicle or a couple bikes
MSR = 50k+ in Cargo runs on good profit
MSR = Room for 1 medium sized vehicle, bikes & more
K bye now :))
First reason; since I am a Marine Design Engineer, I would love the ship with another perspective, like appreciating the small touches for the design language, structural strength parts, pipings, maevelling engine and thrusters etc.
Second reason is that I don't have a daily driver, and I really love the design language of Crusader Industries.
I would really appreciate it if I won this! Long term player here, been playing since 2018, following the project since 2014. Can't get enough of this game and the amazing community! See you in the verse :)
Nice try, buddy. There is no such thing as a marine design engineer. The fish are already designed. Good laugh though.
@@strategygalactic , Nice troll meme Cupcake. I refuse to believe you're this dumb.
Hobby boat designer and builder here. All hail from the big wet!!!
@strategygalactic You got me there for a second hahahha. One good thing I enjoy about my work is that I build ships during the day, and after logging in to the game at night I destroy ships with my friends so "its perfectly balanced as all things should be"
@@strategygalactic I'm going to assume you're making a joke, even with the lack of an emoji.... 😉 And if not, ten seconds with your favorite web search engine will tell you what a marine design engineer actually does. 😋👍
With the C1 spirit, I would most often perform missions such as transporting cargo or collecting things from shipwrecks thanks to the tractor beam, and sometimes I would perform bounty hunter missions, for example
find and destroy the ship and when I get enough money for ROC I will sometimes dig rocks
I'm really late to this, but am I the only one that thinks that those engines are the best in the verse? And I LOVE that every functional part of the ship fits PERFECTLY with the design, for example the VTOL thrusters or rcs thruster things in the sides. Also, the animation is like really natural and makes sense to be like it is. All of this with having a GREAT texturing and 3d model. Like I'm not even kidding, the first time I saw the ship I fell in love with it. And getting the game with THIS beauty (It's my favourite ship by far) as a starter ship would be a dream. Thank you for the vid, Morphologis!
My friends and I have a little vulture squad but have had little motivation to continue cleaning our solar system of space junk. Listening to tunes and srcappin is always great, especially when with the boys. One thing lacking is the trip back and forth to sell after just a bit of work. This ship is like a dream come true. To have vultures popping out scrap and the sleek C1 swooping in and collecting the goods using its tractor beam. Just to jet over to the nearest station while dodging pirates millennium falcon style, to pay out for the boys. Grab burritos and beer at the station, profit repeat. Not to mention the absolute heinous amounts of fun we would have stuffing whatever fits inside the back.
The design itself is the is immaculate, just what I imagine to be a fast and industrial transportation ship would look like. Don't get me started on the engines... and just the lines of the ship itself are something to behold. Looking at this ship never gets old... and it looks good while doing what it was designed for.
I'm a C1 Jockey and I approve this message!
@@savethefunk I have finals right now and been uber busy for months, haven't even SEEN the C1 in game yet but I cant wait! 3.23 Should release by the time I finish the program! Cant wait to get back into the verse and grind for these beauties!
How do you do that? When me and some other people tried to do this with a reclaimer and a c2 it got marked as stolen goods
@@hitthatrwnoflare9645 were you in the same party throughout the entire op? I seem to remember this can happen if you are not.
@@hitthatrwnoflare9645 We were partied up, you gotta be fast depending on where you salvage too! Not sure if either are the issue
The Spirit series is the pure embodiment of Crusader's ship-making prowess. It offers speed, versatility, and ruggedness in the sleek design language we all know and love from Crusader and their other ships. Despite its small flaws, the overpowering success of this design showcases CIG's expertise in ship designing, and is sure to please players for years. This ship follows a long lineage of Crusader ships by mimicking their striking design features and has truly become "the Spirit of Crusader".
If I was fortunate enough to win this beautiful ship, the C1 would become the primary vessel my friend (new SC player) and I would use to explore the 'verse and transport cargo / supplies in that huge cargo bay in the back. Whether it's deploying vehicles out the back while low-flying or bringing components from crippled ships back to port, this amazing ship is sure to see plenty of action.
I've been in anticipation of this review ever since the C1's release and it was so worth the wait! The cinematography blew me away and the tour was so high quality. Morphologis, please continue to produce these wonderful architect ship reviews for us. Thanks.

Well, that's clearly a beautiful description and as always your point of view and your attention to details I could miss are amazing. It's been quite a time I've been following you. I've discovered your talent and your point of view with your description with a ship I don't own any more, but that I enjoyed to its maximal capacity because I saw your video, the Origin 100i.
I don't own it because it wasn't enough any more to explore all the aspect of this game.
However, here you are again, showing me all the possibility on a ship I didn't thought about, the C1 Spirit. It has something I've been looking into for some time: a cargo bay that is to store a vehicle. Of course, Star Citizen have a lot of ship that are able to do the same, but I was looking for a medium ship, that could store the R.O.C while keeping a sleek and quite small stature if we compare it to the other ship able to do the same thing.
So again I thank you, because you keep opening my eyes about a ship I would have not looked into by myself.
As a devoted Crusader enthusiast, I absolutely adore the C1 Spirit. I still vividly remember the excitement I felt when I successfully salvaged gold and medical supplies from the wreckage of a cargo ship using the C1. It's now my daily flyer, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, I have no plans to replace it even if Zeus mk2 were ready to fly. I simply prefer the design languge of the Crusader and the C1 too much to part ways with it.
The Blue-White Combo remembers me of Mass-Effect Andromeda. Would love to fly it
This comment is the reason I now want this ship
underrated game tbh. I know it doesn't exactly live up to what ME1/2/3 was but its still a fantastic and beautiful game in its own right. I wasn't expecting much when I first tried it but i was actually blown away by the different alien worlds and cultures.
Also they sell a skin for it that makes it black, white and red in a way that is deliberately reminiscent of the Normandy SR1 from mass effect 1
It makes me think of the Normandy SR2 in alliance colours personally, with some design bits from the SR1. It could easily be a ship from that line of stealth cruisers.
@@GomulDart Gets repetitive as hell, and going to another galaxy just to deal with some generic villain plot instead of frontier exploration was disappointing. There were good moments though.
some shots in this video literally looked like out of a movie i'm always so blown away of how people can make the game look sooo good
Morphologis is insanely good at showing the beautiful side of SC.
Awesome coverage Morph, and I must compliment you on excellent background music in this review. Really soothing and yet fresh feeling at the same time.
I would love to have a Spirit; it would be great for moving ground vehicles to the surface. It is simply made for atmospheric flight with the massive underbelly thruster array and the flying-wing reminiscent body. And most importantly, the cyberpunk-esqe lighting strips are beatiful.
The C1, as others have said, would be a wonderful upgrade from my Avenger Titan. It would allow me to actually haul a bit of cargo, allowing that game loop to open, as well as some less-than-legal items. I've always wanted a Crusader ship, as i love their styling and interiors, but they're just so darn expensive!
It's so good to see you again bro, I missed these so bad.
Sometimes it blows my mind I get to watch these high-quality videos for free, I feel like I should be paying, even if I can't afford it right now. Feeling real blessed.
I would love to have the Crusader spirit because it allow you to do a wide variety of gameplay loops. The ship has just enough space to fit enough room for combat equipment for multiple people allowing you to do larger combat missions that are helped out by its great firepower. It works as an early game cargo hauler allowing for you carry enough cargo to start making good money to save up for the incredibly expensive cargo haulers like the C2. The Spirit also allows you to participate in my favorite part of the game: exploration. it has enough space to fit a vehicle and all the supplies you would need to explore all the nooks and crannies of Stanton while having a great time. on top of all of that it is one damn cool ship that I would be proud to fly across the galaxy.
This ship really caught me off guard when it was announced. Similar to the 400i, which I felt resistant to at first, it’s slowly grown to be one of my favorites! I’d love to be able to gift this ship + game package to my cousin who I’ve been trying to recruit into the verse for years!
As someone who has just emerged from a years’ Star Citizen hiatus, the C1 is the reason why I got back into the game. I love the look of this ship, with its sleek lines and dual tone paint job. I especially love the details that they took from other Crusader ships, like the VTOL engines from the Hercules. The best metaphor that I can come up with is that it seems like the Swiss Army knife of spaceships in Star Citizen, with each feature adding to its versatility. I’ve been looking for a true solo daily-driver for as long as I’ve been playing Star Citizen, and with the C1, I feel like I've finally found it. I dabbled with the Mercury Star Runner for a while, but while I loved that ship, it just seemed like it was in a weird spot in terms of size and capability. I feel like the C1 would fill that gap perfectly for me, and I really hope that I can get my hands on it in the future.
So glad to see you reviewing my new daily flyer, at least until the Zeus MK2 comes out.
Agree completely. Great ship right now, but about to get tossed into oblivion with Mk2 CL being a tiny bit more than the C1, but has double the cargo ability and has all the habitation things that Morph wants. Bunk beds and small kitchenette room. Also has 2 s2 shields and s4 weapon hardpoints which may or may not mean something whenever we get armor into game. Has same size quantum drive, but s2 quantum fuel tank and 2 s2 hydrogen tanks. C1 has a s1 quantum tank and single s1 hydrogen tank. No idea if that will be the case when it comes to game, as is typical with CIG concept brochure is used to incite hype and sell a spec sheet which they typically do not care about upholding when flyable.
As allways, nice video! Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding along the way, where there was a slight error at minute 6:45 regarding the bomb sizes.
I'm sharing the opinion that the C1 does compete with the Cutty Black and Freelancer. However it is a more nimble ship to fly (currenlty) and the design communicates that while piloting the Sprirt. Tho eitzher the Cutty and the Freelancer have the advantage of a "second" way of entry, the Freelancer feels and looks more heavy and like going further distances and the cutlass is the skirmisher that will work at some more shady locations and at a more localiced enviroment.
Why I would like to get my hands on a C1 is quite simple. One of the best looking ships in the verse, aswell as a way to contribute to my ORG and their "work" in the verse. We are a small group that like to go salvaging and mining either ROC/ FPS or Prospector. Aswell as getting to the cargo running. Tho I allways enjoy just beeing an Uber for other folks out there, tho I also look forward to the E1 as I might like doing some more VIP transportation.
9:59 the way that little car stumbles 🤣
Spirits have come a really common sight in the verse. and i do understand why :D its amazing ship !
My fiancée is very excited about the game and we will be playing together when we are able to put together a computer for her to run star citizen we would love to have this ship 💖
Lucky 😂
I want you guys to win 🥇
Plus my reason is very poorly written I’m not that good at English grammar. Have a great time and make some good memories in the PU 😊
@@catmasterdk5253 Thank you so much half the time will be spent enjoying eachother's company 😊
The C1 Spirit seems like a natural progression from the starter ships! I've been considering upgrading to a Cutlass Black or a C1 but it's hard to pick between the cargo capacity of the C1 and the ship combat power of the Cutlass Black.
I would love a C1! I have been partial to Crusader's ships ever since i first started playing Star Citizen, and you, my friend, are definitely part of the reason why!
I've never owned a permanent ship by buying it from the website, I've always earned my keep in game, and so if i had to choose one to buy, the Spirit is a no-brainer choice for me.
It would absolutely become my new favorite ship to do just about anything in, from risky salvage, to prison busts, Jumptown, Ghost Hollow, and simple courier missions. I'd take that baby everywhere!
Have i gotten other ships in-game that would do any one of those better? Of course. Would I rather fly any of them over the spirit? Absolutely not!
I absolutely adore this ship. its elegant spaceplane looks. Its cargo space, its sheer versatility, and most importantly: the friends I can fly it with. To travel the stars is such a fashion, its just the ship for a single pilot ready to help, fight, befriend, and explore the universe. i'd absolutely love to upgrade to it from my already beloved titan.
as a designer I am so in love with this ship, I think more than any other in SC, even thogh Zeus MK2 is better spec wise, other my fav's are Nautilus, Ares, Eclipse and Drake Corsair
This is a great video. Your commentary is done very well. As for the C1, it is one of my favorite ships. I can see using it to do ROC mining and then load it up with gold before going home to Orison. Keep up the great work.
It seems like such a comfy everyday runaround ship, especially for a solo player like me.
As someone who only actually owns an Aurora, I've long had the plan of picking up an "entry-level multicrew" ship in-game as a day-to-day flyer (I just can't justify spending the extra RL money on it). For a long time, the plan was to pick up the Freelancer and just deal with the over-sized crew capacity that I'd likely not use a lot. The plan was to use it as a solo flyer, and just put an AI Blade on the tailgun.
The Spirit C1 honestly suits this desire even better. The second crewman is even less necessary, and the ship's performance is much more in-line with my play style (I'd rather avoid and evade combat than throw myself into it--so the C1's speed, acceleration, greater power production plays well to that). And the wider body makes it even more friendly to carrying ground vehicles.
All-in-all, this ship would probably be my daily flyer for a long, long time.
I want the C1 to be and explorer. Also, it reminds me so much of the Normandy and all the moments I lived as Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect trilogy.
YES THANK YOU!! I've been waiting and it won't disappoint!!
Being following your content and channel for years, I think. As an industrial designer with a bit of architectural background I find SC ships and world also very, very interesting to explore, discuss and imagine. Thumbs up for a new review! I really like this ship because of that. I think I will buy this in addition to my good old Gladius. The design and features is nice.
Incredible video! Winning a C1 Spirit ship would be a game-changer for me! I'd use it for all sorts of things - hauling cargo, mining with my ROC, and just getting around the galaxy every day. It's the perfect all-around ship for whatever I need to do. Thanks for the chance!
I'd use the Crusader Spirit first for a pleasure cruise, as it's one of my all time favorite spaceships. I actually attempted to build a lego model, however the model evoved into a Hercules due to some poor structural design choices lol. After that, I'd use it to do cargo missions to begin building my fleet collection, as well as getting my friends to try Star Citizen.
I’d like the ship because me and my buddy have been wanting to play the game but struggle where to start. A ship like this seems just what we need. As to what we plan to do. We have no idea, and this ship seems the perfect way to find out.
Beautiful camera work as always.
Just a few seconds in and I go "I want that ship".
Crusader's ships have become my favorite manufacturer in the game with its sleek design.
Loving the Crusader Spirit! That tractor beam looks perfect for grabbing loot after taking down some pirates. Can't wait to explore in style!
Honestly, the C1 strikes such an amazing balance between style and functionality. I had the pleasure of flying in someone's C1 for a bit and I think it'd make a great little blockade runner. If I were to get it, it would also be the first 'big' ship I have. Right now I'm flying my Syulen, so it would make missions with boxes and light cargo much simpler and streamlined. A gorgeous ship, and a wonderful review, Morphologis.
Excellent video as always, also upgrsded my Titan to the C1
man you nail those video flybys - great content as always mate - C1 was my next planned upgrade from the Cutter Rambler - been waiting on the right price - stuff is expensive in AUD when converted from USD lol. I been flying the MSR for a while now (bought in game not with real money lol) and this just looks cooler, and the MSR is one of my favs. I use it as a daily for bunkers, cargo, ROC mining and some multi crew messing about - because we have more lols then actually achieve anything lol.
I adore the design of this ship, the sleek look, those flared bits right over the thrusters, it all just works so well. I am primarily a solo player, but it is always nice to have a ship capable of multi crew gameplay. Whether that's for getting a friend to join you, finding someone in chat to help out with a mission, or just giving someone a ride. The Cutlass Black has been my go to for ages, but I could see the C1 taking its place easily, as much as I love my cutty it isn't quite as pretty as this one. That and the extra versatility the C1 brings, with more cargo space and that tractor beam (even if it is a little jank). Anyhow, winning this from you or not, one of these will likely end up in my fleet someday down the line. Thanks for the great look at the ship, excellent video as always!
Always high quality videos from every point of view, great work!
I really like the ship, more stylish than the cutlass, I'd love to see what it's like to fly it!
I’ve been absolutely loving getting back into this game. I have a buddy of mine that got me into it, but has fell out of love with it but said he’d give it one more go once 3.23 came out. This would be such an awesome way to get back into the game together; running cargo, bounty hunting, and many other missions.
The C1 would make a fine addition to my collection as I don’t have a ship that I could use as my "daily driver" and having it would mean I didn’t have to pull out a retaliator bomber anytime I were to meet up with friends in the verse. The main loop I would use it for is ship salvaging, having a tractor beam on the back would come in handy when emptying the vulture as well as pulling cargo from the abandoned ships.
You make a good point about the size of ships in this game. The Anvil Arrow, which is _tiny_ is actually roughly the dimensions of an *_F-35 Lightning II_*
The Cutlass Black used to be my go to next in-game ship after a wipe after grinding some missions in my store purchased Aurora MR or Avenger Titan.
But now its the C1 so having that available at all times would be a great permanent upgrade!
As always, love your quality of production on these videos that are both informative and visually pleasing.
Amazing video as always. Keep it up!
Personally I´ve got the anvil arrow as a fully fledged attack ship right now. But for quite some time I´ve been looking for a stylish cargo-capable ship that I could run with my friends to tackle some missions and courier work. I havent had the spare money yet to buy one but the C1 is definitly in my top 3 for cargo ships to get.
Have a good one, looking forward to the next vid :)
When the Spirit C1 was announced I was speechless. With Crusader being my favorite manufacturer the Spirit jumped above the MSR as my favorite ship in SC. But I wanted the Zeus MKII way more so when I also saw that the Spirit C1 was the loaner ship for the Zeus MKII it was like a match made in heaven for me.
Ever since it was revealed I loved the Normandy-like aesthetics. It's Crusader Industries design at its finest. I would love to see what a Crusader starter ship would look like.
Great video and amazing cinematography. They're always super relaxing and informative as a design enthusiast and in general.
As for why I would want the ship and the game package: My best friend just went to work abroad and this would be perfect for us to stay in touch. There are few games that can capture a sense of wonder quite like Star Citizen and I would love to share it with him.
Great review!
I upgraded to the C1 when it came out. Gorgeous ship and a lot of fun to fly. Compared to the Cutlass I usually fly, it's a lot better for bounties. It can take a lot of damage (and it does) before anything is critical. The cargo bay is huge for the class and much more usable than the Lancer's narrow tube or the Cutlass's irregular jumbled space.
I'd love a second entry so you can stuff a third 32 scu box in the hold and still get in/out.
My biggest problem is the landing footprint. It's hard to put down flat anywhere and the single entry exacerbates that if your ramp ends up too high off the ground. If you want a landing craft, the Cutlass is way better. Land anywhere and the side doors feel like jumping off a huey.
It is also assigned too-small hangars, making it dangerous to take off/land.
So I just wish the wings folded up. It already looks like they do.
It's hard to say I _need_ to win the ship, but it would be nice if it had LTI.
I don't just want a Spirit, I specifically want the E1. Ever since I started playing Star Citizen, one of the things that irked me was that there wasn't a good "taxi" option for shuttling friends around from planet to station and the like; sure, there were options that worked, but nothing sleek and fancy unless you went all the way up to a 400i or Connie Phoenix. I had literally been lamenting about that the week the E1 got announced, and I was so so stoked for it - the fact that they didn't put it out with others was frustrating, but it did mean I could wait longer and try to save up for one myself. If I win the C1, it'll be upgraded for sure.
Also, props for using the Crusader locations for this video, really added some professionalism to it!
I followed the developpement of the game from afar since 2016 or 2017, and I only started playing last year.
Started with an Aurora, upgraded to a Cutter, and then a Syulen (which is amazing) but crusader has that something that ressembles to what "futuristic" looked loke in the 80's and I love it.
The interior of the Crusaders has that clean, Kubrick 1960's Odyssey interior. Would love to use it because it is so versatile, and my go to is : Cargo capacity and Fight capability; and this has both
It’s nice to have another architect reviews. Especially with such a pretty ship. I’ve been wanting to try out the c1 as a daily and maybe an off the grid play through with vehicles, boxes and plushies. I’d love to fly it across Daymar too. Great vid morph
Love my C1. My friend picked up the executive version, looking forward to seeing that.
If anything, my primary use case for the c1 would be for covert infiltration of planets and stations. The ship itself is not classified as a combat ship, and thusly will be a common sight among the space lanes. With so many NPCs and players making use of it for cargo running and general use, just one more among the crowd will have a much higher chance of going un-noticed. Combine that with a scan scrambler, and it would be a perfect little ship for inserting, or extracting a covert ground team.
A few months ago some Friends got me to start playing star, and one of the things i did while learning about the Game was checkíng ships, mainly searching tours and reviews on yt, and as i found the C1 i completely love It, started viewing all the videos i could find about this ship and bothering my Friends about all the features and how amazing the C1 is, since then i've been waiting for it to be purchaseable for ingame credits since i cant afford to use real cash rn, it would be amazing if i could own one and fly it every day
The Crusader C1, Beauty and utility in a sleek package. As the designated pilot for small group 2-4, this machine really caught my eye. Having such versatility to easily change role to the needs of the crew/mission, while also being a manageable solo daily. This ship really sits in a sweet spot for me.
Great work on the cinematography mate! o7
I ended up getting it about 3 days ago but haven't had time to get on with work and all that. Going to tonight for sure, what a great overview of it!
Great looking ship and many thanks for the review. I've love to use a C1 one of these to do some cargo trading and exploring. Great to take some vehicles in the hold as well.
While it's not great for fighting, and can't take a big hit either, the C1 is an absolutely amazing ship with such a beautiful design. It's perfect for looking into cargo, box missions of the sort, and ground mining (of which I dable in), and while the majority don't do any of those, who wouldn't want to fly it daily and explore? I've also noticed how maneuverable it is for it's size, which is awesome because the slower maneuvering of ships only a bit larger then it isn't something I'm a fan for. Plus it's acceleration is amazing for getting out of a pinch, and the tractor beam can be quite handy. All around it's a gorgous ship you can do plenty of things with, and oh man do I wish I had it. Some day Chris, some day.
I got to fly this ship when they debuted it at fleet week. I think it might be my favorite in the game right now. Like you said, wonderful all-rounder and the cargo hold is just the perfect size for some low-availability goods runs. The look is also classic, has a really clean rocket-plane vibe that I just love!
This ship is like the perfect inbetween for cargo space, smaller then a C2 but bigger then a cutty, plus with crusader thrusters it’s agile. I would love having this ship for the day to day crossing the galaxy and being light cargo, cars, or people. Plus it’s just a sleek looking ship, makes me feel like wraith or keel, hidden guns, sleek, fast and versatile. Granite the 6 is like godly but a man can feel fast and sleek in this puppy. Well done Morph. Once again you’ve killed it in this series
I've been following the Crusader Spirit C1 since it was just a concept sketch, and I'm absolutely captivated by its design and sleekness. Currently, I'm piloting the Drake Corsair, but the Spirit C1's aesthetics and functionality really stand out to me. I'm all about calm gameplay, and I've been dreaming of using this stunning ship for delivery missions and the occasional retrievals-where I 'relieve' NPC ships of their attached weapons to store and resell in the 'verse. Owning the Spirit C1 would not only elevate my experience but also fit perfectly with my play style.
Also, I really appreciate your architecture-oriented reviews. The calmness of your videos and the in-game cinematography are incredibly engaging. One of my favorites is your review of the Origin 600i-it’s another ship I’m eager to have, even though it doesn't have missions revolving around it yet. As someone working in the creative industry, I often have your videos playing on my background monitor to drown out office noise and soak in the creative vibes. Thanks for the opportunity to possibly make this dream a reality!
Love the C1. In fact melted my Freelancer Max and got the C1 at IAE. it’s become my daily driver for sure. I’m not a PVP’er so it’s some what lack in that area is not a problem for me. Another great review, keep up the great work!
The Spirit line of ships are amazing and definitely something I will at some point pick up for my hangar!
As always, amazing video and stunning cinematography!
So happy to see this series back! Excellent cinematography and perfect review. Spirit series have changed the landscape for medium ships
I would use it's tractor beam to catch to catch the A2's bombs a fling them right back at them... Seriously though great video as always. Glad to hear your voice again in a new ship review. Keep it up my dude 😎
I love how agile and fast the Spirit is. It handles with perfection and is a great solo and/or multi-crew starter ship to use as a daily driver. With it you can do plenty of quick "in-and-out" cargo deliveries, making it a great addition to salvage gameplay (both legal and "legal") with the Vulture. I agree with your comment in regards to some sort of seating with the kitchenette, having bunkbeds instead of two single beds, hope to see some sort of retractable seats and tables akin to what you'd get on the Constellation series (which in turn doesn't even have a kitchenette!).
I love the Spirit C1, it's my most favourite ship ever. I instantly fell in love with it the moment I saw it. I love the way it looks and also the fact that it's a cargo ship. I have been wanting a ship like this since 2011 (I'm an old backer). I love the varient with red lines.
Thank you for reviewing this gorgeous ship, loved everything you said about it 😊
I forgot to type, I play this game with my husband. We are a husband and wife team and my husband is the one who actually introduced me to this game back in 2011. I have 2 Avengers because I love them but now the C1 is here I won't be looking back. Also, my husband loves cargo haul gameplay and I will be doing cargo runs with him on this ship 😍
Great video. Love your overviews. Was looking at the MSR but think I'll get a Spirit instead.
I love the sleek design both inside and outside and I always adored all the smaller multi-crew ships. Not to mention the V-tol...
That back light is such a cool QoL feature. I'd say it's a 'must have' on a lot of cargo ships at least.
The rail for the seats is great for a bit of 'separation' from your 'living quarters.
I think it'd be an awesome upgrade to my Aurora because I'd finally be able to bring a friend and multi-crew a ship while cargo running or every day use!
Beautiful camera work as always. While I would love to have a C1 for more ground-based work, the Cutter Rambler stole my heart with its cuteness.
Finally! Took a while to get around to it which, I sure hope isn’t something that’s gonna become a regular occurrence. Because you are THE most valuable ship reviewer in my opinion. Thanks to how you’re breaking these birds down in an easily digested and most unique, super appreciated way. 🙏🫵 much 🫶 and respect 🫵‘re frickin’ awesome!
👋✌️🖖
Wonderful video (at 6:48 *size 5 bombs)
I was wondering if this could replace the Cutlass, you answered that! Great video as always!
I've spent the last year+ ROC mining with my base Cutter (yes it fits, if parked with precision). The C1 would be a dream for me, lol. Great video, by the by.
I got to check out the C1 spaceship, a size 3 medium cargo ship. This ship is pretty awesome, both in terms of functionality and looks. It comes with a tractor beam, making it super easy to load and unload cargo. Operating it is straightforward too; you just need to follow some basic spaceship controls and tractor beam instructions to efficiently manage and transport goods. Plus, it looks really cool, showcasing some sleek futuristic design. All in all, the C1 spaceship is not just great in terms of what it can do but also looks super impressive. It's definitely a top pick for anyone looking for a reliable and efficient cargo transport solution.
I would love to fly this ship myself, but I want to give it to my friend. He wanted to play Star Citizen now for a while, but can't afford it money wise atm. It would be amazing to have him join the verse and us two being able to have a multicrew ship to do things together! Either way great video as always! Looking forward to the next one!
The first Time I saw the spirit concept art I was blown away, oh boy those engines. I currently don't own star citizen so I would probably visit the different planets and try out a few gameloops. Great Viedeo, like every architect reviews.
Ever since I asked you if you could review this series and you responded I knew it would be one of the best videos you've ever recorded. It did not disappoint. Cinematogy is beautiful and it moves unlike many other creators I feel like you are a person who has perfected Reviewing ships designs and its really enjoyable to watch especially on the one ship that I own. Thank you.
Your work, as always, is gorgeous. I think I'd use that spirit as a daily, personal transport, and a way to tool around with friends on occasion! Plus a light, fast cargo craft could get itself into plenty of trouble =)
Great review, as always! 😊
I would love to have this ship to do cargo hauling with my daughter! I love the cargo room and the design of the ship. Slick and fast! It's just perfect for two people to have some fun while exploring the verse.
Love these reviews as always!!!
I'd love the ship and I'd use it as a daily driver as an upgrade to my cutter! Chilled out sessions running cargo through the verse would be my most consistent use case for it!
It's a gorgeous ship! I love how versatile it is, reasonably well armed, very fast, and lots of room inside for cargo and vehicles. Also love the tractor beam, great for moving things without having to leave the ship. Plus with 2 beds and all the basic amenities, you can live on it.
I already loved flying the C1 when I had the chance during Invictus and that was before I had a dual stick setup and since then it's going so much nicer. And I found it to be my favorite for doing anything that I would normally bring the Cutlass sound for because it had the maneuverability and the speed that I like
Thank you for this video, I always love watching your comments as most of the time, I agree with them, like in this case! The C1 is a great starter to dip your toes in cargo running, ROC mining and delivery missions!
Love your review as always. I can see why it's up there on your favourites list, what a spectacularly designed ship! I'd love to have one in my hanger!
I have been looking around and reading about this ship for weeks now. Was waiting for your architectural view for a long time, it was a surprise today when I found your video but for sure a good one! Your right the price is pretty high for a "starter ship" but if I would win it i would like to experience all actives that the verse can offer, given how versatile the Spirit actually is. Maybe also load it up with vehicles and explore moons ( something I cant do at the moment with my starter ship). Thanks for the video!
From the first moment I saw the ship I was in love. The curves the colors and the power. I wanted to upgrade to it from my aurora but it's still a bit pricei. She would be perfect for the occasional cargo run or a few bounty missions, I just can't help but see it as a great space tourism ship (I mean the C1. Flying a bomber around tourist destinations would be a bit concerning). Flying around Stanton with a few friends, maybe buy a few quads and just enjoy what the environment has to offer.
I love the lines on that ship it looks like a sportscar and a jet fighter in one. It reminds me a bit of the J35 Draken, also beautiful.
Excellent Review! The Crusader ships are very smooth in look and design. C1 has a couple great game play possibilities. I think it is a good ship to have in the fleet. Great Job Morphologis.
As always, amazing vid.
And yeah this ship is something else, I only choose the Freelancer over it because the lancer has a smaller hull and fits in hangars easier XD
